My son thoroughly enjoys going to nursery even though he only attends one day a week, he does not want to come home at the end of the day.
I enjoy picking him up and speaking to his key worker hearing about his day and what he has done.
He has changed so much since going to nursery, he is a lot
more confident and his speech is coming on well.
All the girls in both rooms do an amazing job.
I know he is in safe hands.

My granddaughter has recently moved up rooms, earlier than planned but this was the right decision. On picking her up all the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. My granddaughter is always playing and when it's dry they are in the garden getting fresh air.

My daughter is always excited to go to the nursery and this shows how amazing Maidstone Day Nursery is! We love our key worker and all other ladies as they do a really great job and are very dedicated, friendly and caring. Since day one I knew my child is in safe hands.

My daughter has just moved up rooms. The confidence my daughter has built up within growing explorers is fantastic. They helped me and my daughter with the potty training. I received a detailed handover at the end of each day. The ladies in the room are very friendly and welcoming. Thank you for all
your support.


The ladies in her new room have been fantastic, it was a very quick move up as my daughter was completely ready. They have welcomed my little girl into their room and have been very supportive on the days she doesn’t go in well.
I know leaving my little girl at Maidstone Day Nursery, Turkey Mill is the best choice for her. Management are fantastic and very welcoming on both drop off and pick ups. They always know a little bit about what my daughter has been doing throughout the day.

Overall, we absolutely love the Bright Horizons Nursery!


Our daughter has become more independent and confident in her abilities. Very caring environment, the nursery itself, is a fun and bright place.
Food provided was a bit disappointing, could be more healthy but overall satisfactory.

My son has been at this nursery since he was very young, from the beginning he settled in very easily with the help of the staff. The communication was great between myself and his key worker and has been ever since. My son has learnt so much and has gained so much confidence by being here.
We are
only moving him now to a more local nursery in order to prepare him for school and let him get to know the children that he maybe going to school with.
I couldn't fault this nursery it has been fantastic and both I and my little boy will miss coming here very much. Thank you to everyone for making my little boy feel so welcome and hope to see you all again in the future.

My little boy has received fab care here in the 'Tiddler Room', he loves all the staff and is made to feel very welcome. He is always happy to come to the nursery and has made lots of nice friendships with both staff and children. They have also been fab helping me with potty training.

My daughter has been attending Maidstone Day Nursery since 2014 and she instantly loved the atmosphere, staff, garden and food. Our daughter came along in leaps and bounds. Our son started in 2016 and has absolutely loved every minute. His speech is now fantastic and learns something new every day.
He loves his key workers. The manager is amazing and always greets the children with a smile. All in all, a fantastic experience.

I chose the Summer Camp for my son mainly due to the incredibly warm welcome we received during a visit and the fact that I wanted somewhere with excellent facilities and lots of outside play space. My son is happy. He always comes home with enthusiastic stories of what he has done and learnt each day.

I have found the nursery to be wonderful, my son always seems happy, and loves all the staff. He's always happily playing when I arrive to collect him, and the updates the staff provide give me a real insight to his day. The staff are always keen to make sure my son's needs are met, and I never have

From the beginning, all the staff at the nursery have had a very helpful and caring attitude. If there have been any issues concerning my child, they have been very prompt in contacting me or my wife. All the children in class seem very happy. The facilities are first class and hygiene is paramount.

The nursery provides a bright welcoming reception each morning. The room is always laid out with lots of different activities to do throughout the day, the children get to help with the setting up too.
The outside space is fantastic and allows the children to explore, play and grow.
The meal selection
is varied and the self service element is great for growing appetites.
The staff are friendly and help the children to grow in every aspect.

The care and support is outstanding. The team have identified areas of support for my child and dealt with it with professionalism and empathy. I feel that my son is getting the best start to his education, this is more than childcare. He has settled in well and the team do all they can to support

My children love going there.


I have a baby and a preschooler and I can notice how they developed there.

My Son has been attending this nursery for just over a year (started at 9 months old) and he really loves it there. He has built a strong bond with his key workers and I love hearing about the fun day he has had when I read through his contact book. The staff at the nursery ensured that my son had
enough settling in periods to adjust to his new surroundings and kept me updated with how he was progressing during this early transition period.


My husband and I have found the nursery staff to be very open and love to involve parents by either inviting them in for special occasions, having detailed handover talks at the beginning and the end of the day, and also parents are encouraged to add to their child's learning journal with special events/trips and observations of key milestones at home. It has been lovely to look through my son's book and seeing how he has grown up both at home and nursery!


The food at the nursery is loved by my son too!

I have always been extremely pleased with the care and dedication showed by the staff and subsequently my daughter's excitement to go there each day. Job Title: Nursery Manager

I passed my BTEC level 3 diploma in Nursery nursing in 1995 and have worked in the early year's sector for 22 years. I also have a Level 3 in adult education, management, training and mentoring.


Where have I come from?


I was a Children’s Service Manager for Nuffield Health from 1998 to 2019, I managed the nursery, creche, afterschool clubs and holiday camps. I delivered training for the other 12 nurseries within the company and supported the opening of new nurseries within the business. I have worked with Kent County Council in their Early Help, this role was supporting vulnerable families and children.


My Family and home life


I live with my husband, 2 boys and my 3rd child, Trigger the dog.


I was raised in Bromley, and when I had my children, I moved to the Maidstone.


What is my passion?


I have 2 passions; my main passion is my boys and their dedication to becoming the next professional footballer, I attend training and matches come rain or shine, and I even know the offside rule! My other passion is early years and providing every child with the best opportunities to build a foundation to achieve.


You never would have guessed but...


My Grandparents bought me a tortoise when I was 2 years old, Tabatha the tortoise is now 43 years old.

I started my childcare career in 2014, joining Bright Horizons as part of the bank team. My journey has taken me through the completion of my Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification and provided the opportunity to work across all age groups broadening my theoretical and practical knowledge and experience.


I am passionate to provide the best care and quality of education for children. I enjoy watching each of them grow and develop and feel privileged to be able to share in their achievements.


In my own time, I like to read and I also run.
