Bright Horizons Maidstone Turkey Mill Day Nursery and Preschool

Our son has been attending Bright Horizons for a few months now. The staff have really helped him to settle in and have got to know him well. The communication with parents is very good. The activities they do are varied and engaging. Our son started the nursery during covid restrictions but they have done everything they can to help him (and us) to settle in.

My son loves his time here playing, learning and socialising. The staff are always welcoming, caring and well organised and they go above and beyond at every opportunity. The indoor and outdoor facilities are excellent and my son especially enjoys activities in the garden. This is a really caring, positive, educational, well run and safe environment.

The nursery recently had an unforeseen issue that means that it had to be temporarily closed. The staff worked tirelessly to make sure parents were informed and that alternative nursery spaces were provided for the children. This came as no great surprise as the staff there have always been nothing short of wonderful!

This is a wonderful nursery. Staff are well trained, kind and considerate. When kids misbehave they are patient and firm. My daughter was very happy here and I always feel safe and secure when I drop her off. I knew that they would take really good care of her. The standard of education is impressive. My daughter made a wooden box using a hammer and nails.

My daughter started in the baby room in this nursery in September 2018. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and can obviously see how much they care for the children. My daughter has never had any tears going into the room, and every time I pick her up she is happy and smiling, and smiles every time we pull up in the mornings. It is a large room and well equipped, she has always done something new when I collect her. The nursery always stays in good contact with the parents, and are very approachable. Couldn't recommend Turkey Mill any more!

My little girl is in baby room in this nursery and I couldn't be happier with how she is cared for and the nursery overall. My little girl has needed a lot of extra care as she has been in and out of hospital in the past few months, and the staff couldn't have made me feel any better about leaving her in their care. They have ensured all her needs are met. She is always very happy to go into nursery and is clean, happy, well fed when I collect her. I enjoy to hear of all the different things she has done that day, and the staff are very easy to talk too. Thank you Bright Horizons.

I am absolutely happy with everything. My little one is more comfortable in there. The staff are very helpful and they help my little one with building up his English language.

My son started at this nursery in April. The staff have been amazing and didn't rush his settling in period to prepare him for full time care. My son has come on leaps and bounds since starting. He is well cared for and runs straight into nursery. The toddler room/outside space is great.

My daughter has only been attending nursery for the last 3 months, 1 day a week and it is the best decision we made for her. She absolutely loves the staff and thrives here, it is the best feeling seeing her confidence and independence grow week after week. All of the staff are so lovely and genuinely care about the children's welfare and wellbeing. Having initially being nervous and reluctant for my daughter to go to nursery. My 12-month-old son has been attending full time for two weeks and we are really pleased with how the settling in period is going. All the ladies in the Baby Room are lovely and my son's key-worker could not be more accommodating and supportive. My son is already coping well with his new routine and it is down to the hard work, patience, knowledge and care of the lovely staff at Turkey Mill.

I love this nursery, the staff are so welcoming and knowledgable. My son has definitely flourished here and become much more confident. The staff really love the children and my son loves playing and learning with them. The outside space is wonderful and I love the fact my little boy can play outside whenever the weather permits as well as do some gardening (watering and digging), which he loves.

My son loves coming to nursery. Staff are always friendly and informative providing me with a full account of his day. It is a positive environment, clean and I feel confident the care is of the highest quality. The activities are fun and educational and I really like the weekly newsletter which makes parents really involved in the nursery.

Very happy with my son's nursery room. His key worker is always present and will provide a full detailed report of what he has been up to for the day. All the staff are welcoming and polite. My son is comfortable and happy to interact with other staff within the baby room, he enjoys playing outside of which I am happy to see the staff encourage. There are always lots of toys and sensory equipment to help further develop motor and social skills. The baby room is always clean.

What an amazing nursery, the kids have such a great day here with the staff educating children through play.

All the staff take a huge amount of care in each child’s needs and for that, I could not fault them. Thank you for making her time here so much fun.

The nursery provides excellent care and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. We are always kept well informed about what my son has been doing during the day. The facilities are great and the environment is very clean and tidy. My son enjoys his time at the nursery and his progression has been excellent in his time here.

From baby room to preschool the staff are friendly and focused on delivering the best possible childcare and development. The management team are open to discussing any additional needs and requirements and I've been comfortable with the atmosphere.

If there is a problem, someone is always on hand to help you and rectify the situation if it is needed. I have already recommended this nursery to nearly everyone I know with children and will continue to do so.
