Our daughter started here in October 2020 and she was instantly made to feel very welcome. She loves her days here and all the staff and children are really friendly. Staff have been through a lot over the last year, but their care and attention is great and the truly do an amazing job with our daughter
and all the other children.

Playtime nursery was available when we urgently needed childcare. We viewed the place in the evening, very much like the rooms, the outdoor play area and the warm vibe of the staff so we registered the following day. Our daughter is loving it there and thriving. The staff take the time to get to know
the children to determine whether the child is their usual self or not and always communicates this with the parent. Highly recommend this nursery.

My 10-month-old son has just finished his settling in sessions and I am amazed to see how well he has settled at Playtime Nursery. I feel the staff pay great attention to your child's needs and individual routine. It is a great feeling knowing I won't have to worry when I am at work as I know he is
in brilliant care. I also think that being around other babies of a similar age will no doubt help his development. Thank you Playtime Nursery!

A lovely nursery, my 1-year-old son settled in so quickly and I can see how much he enjoys his time there. He happily waves goodbye at every drop-off. They do lots of varied activities, and he sleeps and eats so well. They have adapted well to Covid, and we feel confident sending him in knowing that
they are taking lots of precautions. Would highly recommend to other parents in the area.

My son has been going since he was nine months old and he is so very happy there now that he is over two. The staff is incredible, so caring, professional and enthusiastic. When he's there I know he is safe, stimulated and entertained just as, if not better, than at home. During the pandemic, they have
been absolutely great at keeping it as normal as possible for the children, while ensuring everything was as safe as possible. We are so grateful for the incredible job they are doing!

Playtime Staines is fantastic - it is one of the only nurseries we have tried that:
Allows flexible times and sessions throughout the month for the children, being a lifeline for shift workers like my partner and me.
Have taken reasonable precautions regarding Covid without going over the top, as
other places have done. They base their assessment of the health of the child on being with them and knowing when they're themselves or not. They don't make you book Covid PCR tests for young children unless it is absolutely necessary as they acknowledge that the test is quite distressing for them. This is so reassuring and refreshing.
They are a small nursery that keeps a "small family" feel about what they do. They really do care about the kids they look after and about their staff. The manager is fantastic as well, always taking time to talk with parents (whenever possible and taking Covid precautions) about how their child is progressing.
I couldn't really recommend them more.

A small and friendly nursery who have been very supportive and flexible from the children’s induction to the current challenging pandemic situation. More intimate than some of the bigger nurseries viewed.

Very happy we sent our daughter to Playtime Nursery. It was a last-minute decision after my wife got cold feet the day before our daughter was due to start at another (nearer and cheaper) establishment. Initially indignant at a change of mind, after an hour of research (reviews, website) I was sold
on the idea and what a good decision it has proven to be.
They offer settling in sessions which were fantastic. After the initial hour, our daughter was crying at having to leave and so, although we knew her first day without us (after a few settling sessions) would be traumatic, at least we knew that she recognised and trusted people those she was left with.
They also have an outdoor play area that's trees (when in leaf) provide shelter from the rain on those grotty days, with a slide and interesting things to play with. The staff appear kind and enthusiastic and (a couple of times a month) upload photos so (only) you can see what your child has been up to. Definitely recommend.

Ever since we sent our 1-year-old to Playtime Nursery, they have consistently exceeded our expectations.
They take a lot of pride in caring for her and her learning and skyrocketed from attending.
Keep up the good work everyone.

As soon as I visited Playtime Nursery - Staines, I knew it felt like the right place to send my daughter.
She did her phase in sessions when she was about 10-months-old, and they were so lovely and attentive about her needs. They would ring and let me know how she was doing. I felt comfortable leaving
her very quickly.
Since coming back after lockdown, my daughter seems to have settled in really well and loves going. The staff are so lovely, and I feel my daughter is in completely safe hands.
Would highly recommend the nursery to anyone.

Both my children have attended this nursery and both times, as parents, we have been made to feel comfortable. The key workers I have liaised with go above and beyond for my child and are always understanding. I feel like my child receives genuine love and that's what matters the most. My firstborn
developed so much academically, because of Playtime Nursery/key workers and I am looking forward to seeing how my second child develops.

We are so happy with the nursery. My child has a huge smile on his face when I pick him up every day. His key worker is amazing and has built up a great relationship with him. All the staff are welcoming and greet us every time we arrive and leave. They all know my child and me and I know my child will
be happy if his key worker is away. We can't thank the nursery enough for providing a safe, stimulating setting, where I can focus on work knowing he is content.

Excellent nursery. Fantastic staff! After viewing several different nurseries for my daughter, Playtime Nursery - Staines stood out immediately to me due to the cleanliness of the nursery and the friendly, outgoing, welcoming, caring team of staff. My daughter has progressed really well throughout her
time here and she adores all the staff. She often comes home having learnt new words and nursery rhymes - would definitely recommend to friends.

Current Review Score: 8.9 (8.901)

Overview of Review Score

The Review Score of 8.9 (8.901) out of 10 for Partou The Thames Club Day Nursery & Pre-School is based on a) the Average Rating and b) the number of positive Reviews.

  1. The Average Rating is 4.8 out of 5 from 5 Reviews in the last 24 months.
  2. The score for the number of positive Reviews is 4.1 out of 5 from 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Day Nursery is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.833 for Partou The Thames Club Day Nursery & Pre-School is calculated as follows: ( (50 Excellents x 5) + (10 Goods x 4) ) ÷ 60 Ratings = 4.833
  2. 5 Points are available for the number of Positive Reviews in the last 24 months. A Positive Review is defined as any Review with an 'Overall Experience' of '4' or '5' (out of a max rating '5'). The 4.068 Points relating to the number of positive Reviews for Partou The Thames Club Day Nursery & Pre-School is based on 5 positive Reviews in the last 24 months and is calculated as per below:

The 5 points available are broken down as follows:

    1. 4 points are available for the first 10 Positive Reviews in the last 24 months; 3 points for the first Positive Review, and then 0.125 Points for each of the next four Positive Reviews and then 0.1 Points for the next five Positive Reviews. (1st = 3.000, 2nd = 0.125, 3rd = 0.125, 4th = 0.125, 5th = 0.125, 6th = 0.100, 7th = 0.100, 8th = 0.100, 9th = 0.100, 10th = 0.100) 3 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 + 0.125 = 3.5
    2. 1 point is available for the number of Positive Reviews reaching 20% of the number of registered child places in the last 24 months. If this number is partially reached, then that proportion of 1 point is given. eg a Day Nursery registered for a maximum of 50 child places has to reach 10 Positive Reviews to receive 1 point, if it has 7 reviews it will receive 0.7 points. 20% of the 44 number of registered child places is 8.8. 5 Positive Reviews ÷ 8.8 = 0.568
  3. When a Review is submitted by someone who has previously submitted a Review, only the latest Review will count towards the Review Score.
  4. If a Day Nursery does not have a review in the last 24 months, then it will not have a Review Score.
