Greengables Day Nursery (Owlsmoor)

The staff are friendly and always welcoming. My daughter loves playing outside at the nursery, exploring the entire garden on her own or with friends. There are regular fitness activities that I feel are a real benefit along with more and more learning activities as the children grow (she is in pre-school).

The extra time and effort to create information (song sheets, phonics information, story focus) for us parents to continue a theme at home is a nice touch that provides continuity.

The opening hours allow both my wife and I to work and so create necessary flexibility.

Managers are hands-on and support staff well.

Our children have gone to the nursery for several years now. Both children love their time at the nursery and look forward to going in, even getting upset when they can't go in due to illness. We are very happy with the level of care and development at the nursery and have sene our eldest child doo and tell us many things which have astonished us. Our children have made true friends at the nursery which is lovely to see.

The month my eldest had his graduation and left preschool. Cannot thank the staff enough for helping me raise my boy. His confidence, speaking and learning abilities are more than I thought they would be. He was also happy and never had a day he didn't want to go.

Greengables Owlsmoor is a lovely nursery and preschool. My experience with sending my 2 boys to Greengables has been above satisfactory as they have both been happy. The staff are amazing and have worked with me to ensure the needs and upbringing of my children are met, for example changing dietary requirements. It is also lovely to see my children flourish from going to Greengables. They learn lots, get involved in a variety of activities indoors and out and have fun. I would definitely recommend Greengables to friends and family.

The nursery staff are professional and caring. They do a wonderful job of caring, supporting and teaching my daughter when I am not with her. My daughter's development and confidence is coming on in leaps and bounds since starting at Greengables.

We had a couple of issues with the online portal parent zone as I found her keyworkers weren’t really using it, however, her last keyworker in bumblebees would post regularly and we really saw what a great tool it was.

My son has had such a lovely time at Greengables for the past few years. The staff are very caring and make strong relationships with children and parents. I know my son is well cared for and his interests are catered for. Management are very accommodating and make sure families are happy and supported in many ways. The outdoor facilities are phenomenal compared to the other similar establishments. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

Greengables child base Nursery is one of the best Nurseries we have been associated with.

Our Son really loves to go to Nursery and is excited every morning. While he comes back home he tells us different things he has been doing in the nursery and playing with some of the staff.

During the initial month, he did suffer a lot with his health but the staff of Greengables were lovely and the way they supported us even to an extent of taking care of his food due to secondary lactose intolerance was really incredible.

Also during our busy schedule when we were unable to drop him off the staff of Greengables did really support and even took extra effort to drop him home. Of course, the policy was modified taking in consideration of every child and various other factors.

I am sure we will really miss the care and support we have been getting from Greengables and I am sure even our son will miss everyone.

Sad to leave the team and go.

Our little boy started at Greengables in January 2018 when he was 8 months old. He has settled so well and loves the staff in the Caterpillars room, always smiling and waving at them.

The staff in his room and on reception are fantastic. They've made the process of choosing and starting nursery, which can often be quite a nerve-racking time for parents, so easy and stress-free. We can't thank them enough!

I think my son loves the home-made meals the best, apparently eating everything in sight! I love how informed we feel with the newsletter, hand-overs with staff and the learning journey via the convenient mobile app.

I would strongly recommend Greengables, especially to those who work shifts. Most other nurseries refused to even consider our requirements but Greengables have gone above and beyond to make it work for us.

We loved their values, meal plans, displays on the walls and all the resources in each room and outdoors at our first visit and couldn't be happier with our choice!

I would highly recommend Greengables to anyone looking for a nursery. All the staff are so caring and dedicated they can’t do enough for you and your child. My daughter has been extremely happy here and has made so much progress with her language. It is an extremely happy and friendly nursery and I hope to use it again.

Greengables is a fantastic nursery and I'd recommend it to anyone. The staff are excellent: all more than happy to help, and genuinely caring of the children. They take on board suggestions and are always looking to expand the experiences the children can have. I appreciate the broad range of activities that my son is able to get involved in, some that he simply would not be able to do at home, and the feedback on his progress in all areas of development. Formal and informal reports about how he's getting on are invaluable to me, and the nursery provides many avenues of updates. My son obviously enjoys it, too, which is the most important thing; as he's learning to speak, I now get a 'Yay!' as we arrive and I tell him we're at nursery.

Best nursery around! My son tried another local nursery and was left crying (they didn't even call me). I pulled him out and moved him to Greengables. Every single member of staff is amazing! They go out of their way to make sure each child is looked after and happy. My son took a liking to the coach who comes in once a week. I will be sad when he goes to big school.

Excellent nursery, staff are amazing and genuinely love all the children. Great experience with this nursery and my son has made friends for life.

Our eldest child attended Greengables Day Nursery and was very happy there. The grounding it gave him helped him make a happy, settled transition to infant school. Our youngest child now attends on 3 days a week and loves his time in the pre-school. He talks enthusiastically about his experiences and is clearly engaged and motivated by the well planned and structured activities, within the lively and stimulating environment.

We cannot speak highly enough about the staff, who always genuinely care about our children, for example when our youngest son was off having been seriously ill on holiday, he received a lovely card and the warmest of welcomes back to put his and our minds at rest.

We would unreservedly recommend Greengables to prospective parents, as our children love their time there.

We are absolutely thrilled with how well our children (age two and three) have settled into Greengables. The environment is bright and engaging and the staff are so kind and caring. The food provided is also of the highest standard and a well-balanced range of foods. My daughter also has a milk allergy which is well catered for.

Our daughter's speech has literally doubled in a matter of weeks and she has started eating food she had never even considered trying before. She has gone from the worlds fussiest eater to giving everything a go. She seems to be really responding to the gentle methods of play and teaching used.

Overall we would highly recommend Greengables to parents looking for a childcare setting for their child.

My child adores attending this nursery and is progressing in leaps and bounds. She is very happy to go in and loves the staff, her face lights up when she sees a special one in her room but she chats about them in the evening.

All staff are approachable and friendly and as a parent, I was completely happy with the care my child received while in the nursery. Would recommend this nursery to anyone.

Both my sons have settled in better than expected. They are always happy and can't wait to get in. My eldest (3) has had a massive improvement on his speech since he started in January. The staff are fantastic and always around and there to help.
