Greengables Day Nursery, in Sandhurst, has been purpose-built to offer a spacious and comfortable learning environment for children. They have also obtained their Silver Eco-Schools Award.

All children get daily access to the well-resourced garden as the nursery recognises the positive impact that outdoor play has on a child's social, emotional and physical development.

Greengables Day Nursery also offer the extracurricular activity of Usports every Wednesday for the Preschool room.

The nursery is open from 7.30 to 6.30 and offers a fully inclusive package, helping to support busy parents through an exceptional service.

Greengables Day Nursery, a fantastic place for all children.
I have two children (ages 1 and 3) that attend here and both love going. They get so much out of it, always coming home full of different things they have made and learnt.
The staff are amazing, they always find the time to discuss how
my children have been that day, what they have been up to and what they are working on. There is also parent zone so I can see for myself where they are with their development. If I want more development tools for my children the staff are happy to provide this and talk me through it.
The facilities are really good, with lovely outside spaces for the children of different ages to play in.
The food is fantastic with a wide variety of different meals, my children always seem to eat everything there!

My daughter started going to Greengables when she was 6 months old. I do not have any family close by and Greengables and the staff have been an amazing support and offered my daughter the best possible start to her educational journey. I am delighted that my daughter attends the nursery and I would
not dream of sending her to any other nursery in the area. All of the management team are approachable and always greet me and my husband every time we enter the building. Although our daughter only attends one day a week we are treated as part of the Greengables family and I will be so sad when my daughter is too old to go there.
The place is excellent, I could not be a more contented parent to send my daughter there.

All the staff are very friendly and seem to know my son by name. We are greeted on arrival every morning with a smile and a cheery attitude. The variety of activities is excellent and the frequency of artistic creations to bring home is high. My son loves attending nursery and this is evident in the
regular updates (including pictures) on the app provided. It's really nice to see how he is progressing against key markers and what the plans are to aid his further development. I can't fault them.

I can not thank the staff at Greengables enough for the help, support and kindness of every staff member I've met. My children are 4 and almost 3 and have both been attending the setting since they were both 8.5 months old.
I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone with children within the age
that could attend and have done so in the past. I will be so sad for my children to leave Greengables, they have grown and learnt so much since they have been there.

My child ios a happy little boy he loves all the teachers and is always chatty when I called him in the evening. He loves telling me all the new things he's learnt during the day. Very happy with the staff and their communications with the parents.

My 20-month-old daughter started going to the nursery only 2 months. This nursery is very spacious and has lots of activities happening. My daughter loves her prime carer and it makes me very happy to see her going to nursery in all smiles. All other carers seem to be pleasant and always smiling. I
like that they even give a late evening snack for children who get picked up late. Can say my little one is defiantly being taken care of, enjoying and making friends while learning lots of new things.

Our little boy has been with Greengables Day Nursery for just over 6 months and we have been so impressed with the staff there. Our son is just coming up two at the end of the month and he has completely flourished since being at the Nursery. The staff are kind, empathic and extremely good at communicating
all aspects of your child's day with you. We have felt thoroughly supported as new parents and feel completely comfortable to ask advice at any time.


I would 100% recommend this Nursery to any parent who wishes their child to be in a caring safe and stimulating environment.

We cannot praise Greengables enough! Our little boy started at the nursery in Oct 2016 and he has been so happy! It's so lovely as a Mum to leave your little one happy knowing that he is in safe hands. The Staff are so friendly and welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble. The Nursery itself is
clean, fresh and vibrant and most importantly has such a happy atmosphere. It's a wonderful place for little ones.

My son has recently started at Greengables and I cannot fault how good the nursery has been, with settling in visits for him before hand so he became familiar with the staff and nursery.
The staff all seem loving and caring and the management do a very good job of running the nursery. There is always
a wide variety of activities on offer to stimulate the children and they all seem to be set for different abilities so all children can progress in their individual development. The outdoor space is great and the children have activities out there so can learn whilst getting some fresh air. Overall I'm extremely pleased with the nursery.

My three children attend Greengables Day Nursery. My twin boys in the caterpillar room and my daughter in preschool and they absolutely love it. All the staff are excellent and my children love them and I leave for work knowing they are in safe hands and are having fun as well as learning. The daily
reports are always informative as are the weekly emails. A great team at Greengables Day Nursery and we are very happy with their service.

My 3 children absolutely love Greengables Day Nursery & the staff there are absolutely fantastic. Nothing is too much to ask, the room staff are excellent with the children & make sure that the children's needs are met, they have formed strong bonds with them individually, I know my children are being
cared for properly. The admin lady is also so helpful, always responds promptly and nothing is too much to ask. The reception & management team are all so friendly, professional & always make time to have a chat. The food is excellent, well balanced and varied. We are given a monthly menu & emailed each week so you can keep track of what you child eats so that you can plan their dinners with ease. I switched my daughter to Greengables Day Nursery as she was unhappy with her previous one & I can honestly say she has settled very quickly as have my 18 Month twins. The security is very good (a high priority for us) & parking is good too. The nursery itself is always clean & the toys and equipment are plentiful.

This month our youngest daughter has been settling into the nursery which we were really apprehensive about, but the staff in the Caterpillar room have been amazing. They have made the transition so easy and hassle-free.
We are so delighted with Greengables and only wish we had moved our daughter there
sooner.
We cannot praise the professionalism, friendliness, and attitudes of the staff more and would highly recommend them.

My daughter absolutely loves coming to nursery. All the staff know her personally and her learning objectives. Since she has been in nursery her development, both physical and speech have improved hugely.
I would recommend this nursery to anyone and already have two friends join since we started here.

I have been so impressed with my son's experience at Greengables. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and quickly build rapport with him. They went to great lengths to make the settling in process easy and stress-free and always make me feel able to 'check in' with how things are going during the
day. The nursery offers a fantastic range of activities and clearly, tailor those to suit the children's interests and needs.
I am always impressed by the lovely things my son gets up to and the in-depth feedback I receive at the end of the day.

The team at Greengables is fantastic, they go above and beyond for the children and are always happy to help. They are great role models for the children. The atmosphere is positive and it provides a caring, welcoming and safe environment. I would definitely recommend Greengables to anyone, particularly
if you value learning through play experiences and young children being treated respectfully as little people where their individual uniqueness is valued and encouraged. Julia Grant

Job Title: Nursery Manager Joined: 2015

Julia is the Manager of Greengables Day Nursery in Owlsmoor and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for over 20 years. Julia joined Childbase in 2015 as a Deputy Manager at Greengables and later transferred to West Downs to take on the role of Nursery Manager at another Childbase Nursery. Julia has now returned to Greengables as Manager.


What is your favourite feature of Greengables?
I love that Greengables is all on one level, with every room having its own access to its own decks and garden.


What are you most proud of about your nursery/team?
I love the team culture at Greengables; everyone looks out for each other.
