The recently refurbished Little Pioneers Nursery & Pre-School Newbiggin makes you feel like you've gained new family members when you meet their friendly, approachable team at their purpose-built, all-on-one level nursery.

Their ParentZone app keeps parents informed about life at nursery with photos from their day, assessments, meals are eaten and even toilet training progress! They are big on safety which is why all their staff are Paediatric first aid trained.

The nursery are Green Flag eco schools accredited, a programme that sees children lead the way in making little changes that deliver big environmental differences. They have areas for growing food (and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and take care of each other and the world.

They have 5 Little Pioneers to help share their core values with children, such as encouraging them to be independent to expressing their feelings.

The nursery has an outdoor play area that is surrounded by the remainder of the building, making it a safe and secure environment for children to play in. Staff and children take advantage of all of the local amenities which include two play areas, one at the entrance to nursery and one at the rear.

Our son only started nursery two weeks ago but the staff at Little Pioneers have helped him to settle in so quickly! They've all been so kind, friendly and professional. The nursery is clean and well equipped. Our son has enjoyed all of the activities and food. We are very pleased we chose Little Pioneers

A lovely nursery and learning space. My little boy has come on so much and gained so much confidence and friends. He has been here a few years and has had fun every day. All the staff are fantastic and friendly.

I couldn't be happier with Newbiggin childcare. All the staff I have been involved with are always friendly and approachable. My son has attended this nursery since he was about eight months old he is now in his last year in preschool. I always feel comfortable leaving him here knowing he is safe and
well looked after. He is always excited and happy going. I can't thank the staff enough for the ongoing support with him.

5 stars! My 2 year old son absolutely LOVES going to nursery! His key worker is a wonderful woman! It makes me, as a mother, feel at ease knowing he is going into an environment that he feels comfortable in! The staff really do a fantastic job. Great nursery. All my child's needs are catered for during the course of the day. The team have been brilliant in assisting my daughter with improving her speech and pronunciation of certain sounds. Would highly recommend the Manager and her team to others requiring childcare for their children.

The staff always give detailed feedback of everything my granddaughter has done that day. They also report on what she’s had for lunch and how much she’s eaten. Everyone is very caring and receptive of any special requests. They always manage to match activities/ learning to a special event or day

This is a lovely nursery and Pre-School all staff are amazing and so welcoming. My child has come on so well being in this school. The facilities in this school are fab too my child loves to be outside and in the garden they have a little climbing frame too which he loves. Would highly recommend this

I couldn’t ask for a more perfect nursery for my child to attend. The staff are brilliant and hide their capes very well! (In my eyes they are hero’s in disguise)
My child started nursery a little over one year old and couldn’t talk or anything like that and a year on and he’s a completely different
person and that is all down to the staff!!

My child has struggled a lot with anxiety due to a poorly sibling at home being in and out of hospital. As a result she has struggled going to nursery due to not wanting to leave sibling to go in. The staff have been amazing with her and really helped to make things easier

Amazing nursery, the staff are very knowledgeable and approachable. My nephew comes out with a smile on his face. The staff keep you updated on everything the children do, it's on an app that's easy to manage and tells you meals etc.
Management is second to none, the Manager is always available and
nothing is ever an issue to her. She is an asset to the team and she does the best not just for the children, but staff and community too. Well done.

Love all the staffs who had looked after my 21 months old child. My daughter used to have an eating problem before I sent her (full day) to nursery last summer.
And after these 6 months, she was at nursery, with the help of the key workers. My child has had a great improvement in her eating, as well
as her speech and language.

The girls in the nursery are fantastic they have made my little girl so welcomed to there team I would highly recommend the nursey. My little one has come on so much over the past few months singing dancing counting etc. So happy with what she is achieving.
