Amazing nursery for my twin boys! They’re so happy and settled there and look forward to the array of activities they have waiting for them every morning.

This is a great setting! My little one has been going there for over a year and a half now, and she is flourishing. My son has been attending Bright Horizons Kirkstall for over a year and the standard of care and attention he has received in that time has been excellent. The staff/key persons always take the time to discuss my son’s progress with myself and my wife when collecting/dropping off. All the staff are
very approachable and do a great job filling in when my son’s key person is on leave. I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone who requires childcare.

This is an amazing nursery for so many reasons. My daughter had a bumpy start with only going to nursery one day a week, but they made the whole experience so much easier. I feel totally comfortable leaving my child with any of the staff. They really go above and beyond to make sure both parent and
child feel safe. They keep parents updated via their app and there is a full handover every pick up which I love hearing about. The food they cook is always a healthy nutrient-filled meal, the activities/learning they set up is amazing. My daughter has learnt so many new skills since being there, I can’t say enough about how amazing it is!

My daughter has attended the nursery for more than four years and has just left to go to school this September. I cannot fault this nursery at all, from the management team to the staff, the cleaner and the cook, they are absolutely fantastic. The activities they create for the children's learning is

My child has been at Bright Horizons since about 9 months old. The staff are very friendly and caring, which has helped her to settle in and she now loves going to nursery! The nursery itself has nice facilities both indoor and outdoor. The children seem to spend a lot of time outdoors where possible,
which I love and I'm sure the children do too. The communication is also very good, getting regular updates either by telephone or through the app so you can check what your child has been doing during your working day, which is something that I look forward to seeing.

Our little girl has just left this nursery to move on to school. I can't sing their praises enough, they have been amazing over the last few years. Particularly so after lockdown in helping bring our little one out of her shell, as she was very shy going back after such a long time and the nursery were

As a small family that has just moved to Leeds, it was quite challenging at first to find the ideal nursery setting for our 16-month-old daughter. I shortlisted a handful of nurseries with 'Outstanding' ratings and Bright Horizons was the first nursery I visited with my daughter. I was given a detailed
overview of how the nursery operates, introduced to all the staff and most importantly, my daughter absolutely loved it! It's been roughly over two months that my daughter has been attending and I can already see the positive impact the nursery is having on my daughter in regards to her social and emotional development! The staff are great, they update me with thorough handovers each time I pick my daughter up and my daughter's allocated worker does not miss anything, which I appreciate. Special thanks to four members of staff in particular, for their support, understanding and commitment towards the development of my daughter. Thank you!

I was a very cautious parent and very protective over my daughter's care the moment I met the manager from Leeds Bright Horizons I was instantly at ease. My child is black British and I wanted to know she was mixing with a bit of everybody.
The manager told me they embrace all cultures which was exactly
what I wanted to hear.
The whole team was welcoming and after a few years now I honestly think we have a great relationship, my daughter enjoys nursery and is always happy to attend.
I find the manager very supportive even outside, my daughter, there have been times where I have been upset and the manager showed true genuine love and support that meant so much to me.
After all the horror stories you hear about misconduct in nurseries, this one is the complete opposite, it’s a lovely set up, great team, very professional and caring.
I will probably cry a bucket of tears once my child leaves for school because I know she was truly loved and cared for.
How pleased have I been with this nursery?
So so pleased!

Katy

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Katy is the Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons. Childcare has always been her passion, and she has been dedicated to the field since leaving school. Joining Bright Horizons in 2010, she has grown from a Room Supervisor to her current leadership role as Nursery Manager.


In 2020, Katy embraced motherhood for the first time, with her child now attending the nursery. Watching him thrive and settle seamlessly into nursery life, supported by the caring and attentive staff, has deepened her understanding of the importance of individualised care.


Katy finds joy and inspiration in observing the children's learning journeys throughout the nursery. She looks forward to welcoming new families and helping children flourish during their early years.

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2006

Leah has been part of the Bright Horizons Leeds team since January 2020, initially joining as a Room Leader before progressing to Deputy Manager in January 2021. She is passionate about maintaining the nursery's outstanding care. With a teacher training qualification, Leah brings valuable expertise to the setting, guiding her staff to deliver inspiring and challenging teaching and learning experiences for the children.


In addition to her leadership role, Leah is the nursery SENDCO, supporting staff, children, and families to thrive and reach their full potential through inclusive care and education.

Brodie began their career at Bright Horizons in 2019 and has grown both personally and professionally through a variety of rewarding roles within the world of early years education. From the outset, they were inspired by the impact educators can have on a child’s development during these crucial early stages - an inspiration that continues to fuel their passion every day.


Brodie is deeply committed to training and upskilling the outstanding team, ensuring that each member feels confident, supported, and empowered in their role.
