It is always a pleasure to come here and leave my son with such a nice team. My son enjoys the garden so much and all the different toys, books and loves the food! Everybody seems to enjoy working here and you can feel it!

I had such a lovely afternoon at the Mother's Day tea. My daughter made a picture for me and planted a bulb, which I'm sure my daughter will love to watch grow. These events are so great to see what she does at nursery and how much she enjoys it!

We came for the Mother's Day afternoon, it was a lovely couple of hours with lots of fun activities followed by afternoon tea. We really enjoyed it and was nice that family could also come along to see the nursery.

I was very anxious as a new parent bringing my 14-month-old boy to nursery, but the staff were brilliant with my boy and so reassuring. I recommend Bright Horizons Leeds Day Nursery and Preschool to other parents as my boy has come along way. His confidence and social skills have grown and I am kept

I love the nursery. I think all the staff are friendly and approachable. I think the care my daughter receives is well above standard. My daughter has developed so much since she started attending Bright Horizons Leeds Day Nursery and Preschool. All of the staff are friendly and helpful with the sort of certifications you expect and like to see in such an establishment where you entrust other people to the well-being of your child.


My

daughter always eats and sleeps well there too which is reassuring and has made friends with other children she sees on a daily basis which is great too, we get on well with other parents also which is nice.


The practice manager has been outstanding since day one and was one of the main reasons we chose to send our daughter there. You could really feel her passion and love for what she does and this definitely filters down to the rest of the staff I am sure.


There are regular social events organised which are always fun to be involved in and the homework that is set for the children is fun and enjoyable too.


The fact that they were open between Christmas and New Year was great.

My daughter has been coming here since she was a baby and the progress she has made in her time here is excellent. She integrates on a daily basis with children of all races, faiths and languages, they are all treated equally by the staff and this teaches the children to act the same way.


There

is a wide range of activities to ensure she doesn't get bored. She often comes home, excited to tell me what she has done that day and who with and it is always different. We have noticed her confidence growing in regards to learning new things, which can only help when she moves to 'big' school. In summary, I think this nursery is an excellent starting point for anyone looking for somewhere to bring their child

My daughter has received excellent care whilst at the nursery. Feedback from staff on a daily basis is excellent both verbally and written. I feel confident leaving her with staff and always have done. All staff have always been very welcoming. She is provided with a range of different activities and

An excellent nursery, staff are all lovely and very friendly.
I used this nursery for 2 of my children from 6month to 5years and they have been fantastic with both of them. I have been so upset both times of them leaving such a nice nursery.

This is our second child in the nursery and we are very happy. All staff are friendly and welcoming including support staff such as chef and cleaner. All areas are kept clean and tidy and each room is provided with lovely toys and activity areas for the children. All meals are cooked fresh on site and
certainly received no complaints from our two!

Katy

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Katy is the Nursery Manager at Bright Horizons. Childcare has always been her passion, and she has been dedicated to the field since leaving school. Joining Bright Horizons in 2010, she has grown from a Room Supervisor to her current leadership role as Nursery Manager.


In 2020, Katy embraced motherhood for the first time, with her child now attending the nursery. Watching him thrive and settle seamlessly into nursery life, supported by the caring and attentive staff, has deepened her understanding of the importance of individualised care.


Katy finds joy and inspiration in observing the children's learning journeys throughout the nursery. She looks forward to welcoming new families and helping children flourish during their early years.

Leah

Job Title: Deputy Manager Joined: 2006

Leah has been part of the Bright Horizons Leeds team since January 2020, initially joining as a Room Leader before progressing to Deputy Manager in January 2021. She is passionate about maintaining the nursery's outstanding care. With a teacher training qualification, Leah brings valuable expertise to the setting, guiding her staff to deliver inspiring and challenging teaching and learning experiences for the children.


In addition to her leadership role, Leah is the nursery SENDCO, supporting staff, children, and families to thrive and reach their full potential through inclusive care and education.

Job Title: Third in Charge

Brodie began their career at Bright Horizons in 2019 and has grown both personally and professionally through a variety of rewarding roles within the world of early years education. From the outset, they were inspired by the impact educators can have on a child’s development during these crucial early stages - an inspiration that continues to fuel their passion every day.


Brodie is deeply committed to training and upskilling the outstanding team, ensuring that each member feels confident, supported, and empowered in their role. Together, they implement the bespoke Nurture Approach ethos, which places the emotional well-being and holistic development of children at the heart of everything they do.
