Chrysalis Day Nursery provide high quality learning for children aged three months to five years old.
The team of qualified and enthusiastic staff are committed to providing the best possible childcare; many staff members have worked there for over 15 years, something the nursery is very proud of.

The team pride themselves on providing a home from home, family environment where each child feels valued, welcome and secure, and can form a strong bond with their key person. The team have amazing relationships with all Chrysalis parents and love the feedback they receive from them about the nursery and the lovely staff. To ensure effective communication between parents/carers and the nursery at all times, there is an open door policy in place.

Children are actively encouraged to explore, learn, communicate and interact with one another. The team believe that children learn through play and the nursery’s extensive curriculum enables children to reach their full potential. They offer a huge range of different activities, to promote all areas of learning, they always put the children first in everything they do and pride themselves on being the best.

My little boy has attended Chrysalis for 2 and a half years now and we couldn’t be happier with his experience there.
He took a long time to settle initially but the staff were amazing in reassuring him and building trust resulting in very strong bonds being formed with staff in all the rooms as he
has progressed through nursery.
All of the staff are very welcoming and happy to chat about his progress and development plus they are very flexible with all children and their individual needs- nothing is too much to ask e.g. need for naps, toilet training, extra comfort when needed - this is all very reassuring to us as parents. Staff have definitely gone over and above with his care on many occasions without hesitation.
His development since he started nursery has been fantastic and this has always been at his own pace and through play - meaning he is one very happy boy!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chrysalis ... we are very happy to be sending baby no 2 there in 2020!

After visiting lots of local nurseries in the search for one that I thought was suitable for our 1-year-old, I was recommended Chrysalis by many of the school mums.
After visiting I decided to put my daughter in 4 days per week and I am so glad that I did! She was so nervous and quiet when she first
went but after a few weeks she had grown into such a character. Every day she comes home so happy, chatting about her day and singing all the songs she has learnt.
The nursery staff have grown to be a second family for my daughter! I can’t thank them enough for the way they take care of my baby!

Chrysalis nursery is fantastic. The staff, from the chef, the carers and the ladies in the office have been wonderful during the 3 years my little girl has been there.
When we visited we were very impressed with the set-up, felt very welcome and we just felt it was right.
Moving up through the rooms
has been managed very well, meeting key workers and new members of staff and conversations around development have always been delivered well.
My child is one of the youngest in her year group but thanks to Chrysalis I have no doubt that she is more than ready to start school in September.
The catering has been fantastic, with my little lady often telling me that she only likes something when the chef makes it!
Finally, the way in which they have managed the changes required for COVID have been done so well, my little lady has come out happier than ever!
I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone!

Chrysalis Day Nursery is excellent and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Both my sons attend and are very happy. They love all the activities, playing and always get excited about attending. The staff are amazing, informative, caring and friendly. The nursery has helped in times of crisis a number of
times. This is the best nursery by a mile within the area.

Cannot recommend Chrysalis enough. Staff are kind, friendly, approachable and competent. Communication is always good and both our boy’s are extremely happy there and look forward to attending.
Daily activities are always varied and based around fun learning. There are lots of resources and safe places
to play outdoors!
Transitioning back to work whilst having to leave my son’s at nursery has been made easier as all of the staff are helpful, understanding and supportive. It has meant the world to know that we are leaving them somewhere where they are well cared for and have the opportunity to flourish. I am eternally grateful.

Our daughter has just completed her time within the Caterpillar group at Chrysalis. She has had a wonderful time there. For us (this is our first child) leaving our daughter was a daunting process. The staff at Chrysalis made it such an easy and relaxing one for us as parents. They have been welcoming,
supportive and communicative, calling us when we asked, updating through the day. They allowed our daughter to choose her key worker - which was a refreshing way to do this as it meant our daughter was very happy with who she was with.
She settled so quickly and has loved her time in Caterpillars. She has learnt so much, progressed so much and become such a confident little girl, part of which I attribute to the staff. She has also become quite skilled at sign language, something I am really pleased to see she has learnt and something we hope she continues.
I honestly have nothing but positive things to say about all the ladies at Chrysalis.

My son has been at Chrysalis since he was 8 months old, he will be leaving in August/September to start school.
The care provided has always been top quality. I felt almost instantly comfortable leaving my baby in the care of the very friendly and approachable staff.
My little boy has special needs
and they have been very supportive and inclusive throughout his nursery journey.
I would definitely use this nursery again with any future children and recommend it to friends and family.

I would highly recommend Chrysalis to anyone looking for a nursery. We transferred to Chrysalis from another nursery as we were very unhappy, and so we were looking for somewhere we felt our son would be well cared for and where the staff were aware and attentive to each individual child and their needs.
For us this was Chrysalis and we pretty much knew as soon as we walked in the door. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff introduced themselves and were all very friendly. We have had no issues at all during the time we have been attending and we have just completed our final move into Pre-School, very smoothly with no problems. The standard of care has been excellent across all of the rooms and I feel that the team support the individual needs of each child very well, and are always very keen and open to help with any particular areas of development that I have raised with them in the past.

My child has been at Chrysalis for over a year now and has gained confidence and shown progression in all areas of learning. Currently making the transition into the next room, all staff have been extremely helpful and supportive for both my child and myself. This transition has been very smooth. We
have regular reports and updates about the learning and having the opportunity to see observations and add our own is great too. I look forward to the journey ahead and seeing my child flourish at this nursery.

My daughter has recently moved from Butterflies to Pre School and we couldn't be happier with her progress and her wonderful time spent at Chrysalis. Having been at Chrysalis since she was 9 months old we have all been supported by the wonderful staff throughout her years. However, her time in Butterflies
has been outstanding and her confidence has grown so much, it has been amazing to see! We thank the Butterfly staff so much for their extra care and special moments with her - nothing is ever too much trouble and we feel reassured leaving her in their care. Each and every staff member in this room has contributed to her increase in confidence and her continued enjoyment at nursery. The extra support shown when we had our second daughter this year will never be forgotten. Truly wonderful staff who we will miss very much! The transition to Pre School has gone smoothly, which we feel is a credit to all the staff and we look forward to these final months in Pre School!

My daughter started at Chrysalis Day Nursery in August 2019 aged 8.5 months. I was in no doubt about what Nursery to send her too, having already had my Son attend the same Nursery since a baby and he is now in Pre School and loves it!
My daughter has settled in so well and her face lights up when
we walk into her room when she sees her Key Worker or any of the other ladies. They have been so wonderful with her and give her so much love and affection which has helped her settle, especially being so young.
My daughter enjoys her days at Nursery, having so much variety in the activities that they do and she also enjoys the variety of food too!
I am really looking forward to seeing her develop and grow at Chrysalis!

Since joining Chrysalis, my daughter has developed in so many ways. She is more confident and balanced and loves playing and mixing with other toddlers. My daughter has had an amazing experience here at the nursery, once she settled in, she grew very close to the key workers here. We love all the teachers
who are warm, caring and very professional. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents. You know your child is in safe hands when they are in Chrysalis. Thank you so much for making the difference. My daughter and I will miss the nursery very much.

I am thrilled with how well my daughter has settled into nursery life. She loves all the staff and all of the fun activities they do. I feel like the staff have all taken the time to help and get to know my daughter and I am very thankful to them.

My granddaughter goes to this nursery and it was the best choice for sure. She has come on so fast from being at Chrysalis. She is always content playing when she’s collected, which is reassuring knowing she’s clearly is happy there.
It’s clear how well the staff there know my granddaughter, by the
comments they share about her. Comments that they wouldn’t know without spending time with her.

My granddaughter is in the baby room at Chrysalis and since she started there we’ve gained an extension to the family, in the ladies that look after her. As grandparents, we love collecting her and seeing how much fun she’s had and how well the staff care for her.


The variety of activities and fun

that the children are experiencing at Chrysalis is brilliant. My granddaughter has come on so much since she started there.


I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone searching for childcare.

I’ve been so pleased with this nursery. The whole set up is just gorgeous!
The staff are so friendly and you can tell they all really enjoy their work at this nursery. Half the time I just want to stay and have a natter with all the lovely staff. Our daughter is a very confident little lady anyway,
however, this environment has harnessed her confidence and allowed for her to thrive even more.
The extra things that the staff do just astounds me - ‘beach days’, ‘auntie Monica Friday disco’ and the pony that came into nursery recently - just to name a few things. All allowed my daughter to flourish and learn within a happy, relaxed, nurturing environment with each week full of new ideas.
Seriously the best nursery I’ve come across. We’re so happy with this nursery, even after moving recently - it’s so worth the drive every day to bring her here. Thank you each and every one of you. Your hard work and dedication do get noticed.

My daughter has been with Chrysalis Day Nursery for close to a year now and overall my partner and I have been extremely happy with her level of care. The staff have been extremely helpful and my daughter clearly loves being there. She regularly comes home singing a new song or playing a new game and
she has had a strong bond with her key workers at the nursery. The nursery has also been very accommodating of our different requirements when it comes to food and they have also helped us establish new routines which have helped at home.
Overall, I would highly recommend Chrysalis Day Nursery to friends and family.

As soon as I visited Chrysalis Day Nursery, I knew it was the perfect place for my daughter. I would have no hesitation recommending this nursery to my friends and family, it’s a fantastic place.
As a parent, you need to feel 100% trust and confidence in a nursery you’re contemplating leaving your
baby at, you definitely get this at Chrysalis! I’d been anxious about leaving her when my wife went back to work, but the endless reassurance and support for both the children and parents at Chrysalis is brilliant. I’m reminded that I can ring for updates as many times as I feel necessary, which on top of the detailed daily updates and photos I receive of my little girl's nursery days, shows me how much of a lovely time she’s having. I love how the nursery makes me feel so involved in her nursery life.

My granddaughter has been at Chrysalis Nursery for a year. I've found the staff dedicated, caring and very approachable. When I drop her off in the morning, she is eager to get out of the car and run in, and to me, that speaks volumes. The staff are always eager to share what she's been up to during
the day so I can talk to her about her day on the way home. The admin staff are excellent if my daughter's been ill, they've always tried their best to take her for extra sessions where possible.
