Chrysalis Day Nursery

As a Grandparent, I would not hesitate to recommend Chrysalis. The staff in the baby room were absolutely exceptional and couldn’t be more caring. I can’t praise them all enough. My Granddaughter has now moved up rooms and I’m sure the staff there will be equally as good. Unfortunately during the pandemic, I have not seen her in this environment or got to know the staff yet. Something I am looking forward to doing when it is safe to do so. They do some wonderful activities and compliments to the chef too. The home-cooked food looks lovely. The management and reception staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you. They even let my granddaughter sleep through and phone me when she wakes to collect her, so as not to disturb her. This means that quite often she goes over her session time but never once has this seemed to be an inconvenience. In fact, it was their idea! Something which I really appreciate. Most importantly my granddaughter is extremely happy. Thank you all.

Our child absolutely loves going to nursery and his confidence has gone through the roof since returning after lockdown. We can rest easy that he is happy and cared for when he is there. He has formed some good relationships with staff and looks forward to seeing them each day. We find the staff and facilities at Chrysalis fantastic and love the fact that all the meals are home-cooked and the menus vary each week.

The food is very good and varied and all cooked on-site in their open kitchen in the pre-school room which is fabulous.

You won’t regret sending your little ones there, it is outstanding.

During and after the COVID-19 lockdown, the ladies were all so compassionate about our individual experiences during lockdown (it was a welcome relief when we could go back!) and management were not money-grabbing to those who were not ready to return. My little butterfly has flown off to school now but we'll be back for holiday club!

Chrysalis Day Nursery is wonderful. Both of my children have attended Chrysalis and thoroughly enjoyed their time there. They provide a supportive, warm and friendly environment for the children and families and our boys have lots of fond memories of their time at Chrysalis. We will miss them very much.

My daughter currently attends this nursery and loves it! I couldn't recommend this nursery enough. The staff are absolutely amazing and will do anything to help and are always available to answer any questions. Thank you for everything you do for my daughter, the support and care you provide is outstanding.

Chrysalis Day Nursery is excellent and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Both my sons attend and are very happy. They love all the activities, playing and always get excited about attending. The staff are amazing, informative, caring and friendly. The nursery has helped in times of crisis a number of times. This is the best nursery by a mile within the area.

Transitioning back to work whilst having to leave my son’s at nursery has been made easier as all of the staff are helpful, understanding and supportive. It has meant the world to know that we are leaving them somewhere where they are well cared for and have the opportunity to flourish. I am eternally grateful.

I would highly recommend Chrysalis to anyone looking for a nursery. We transferred to Chrysalis from another nursery as we were very unhappy, and so we were looking for somewhere we felt our son would be well cared for and where the staff were aware and attentive to each individual child and their needs. For us this was Chrysalis and we pretty much knew as soon as we walked in the door. It has a very welcoming atmosphere and the staff introduced themselves and were all very friendly. We have had no issues at all during the time we have been attending and we have just completed our final move into Pre-School, very smoothly with no problems. The standard of care has been excellent across all of the rooms and I feel that the team support the individual needs of each child very well, and are always very keen and open to help with any particular areas of development that I have raised with them in the past.

My child has been at Chrysalis for over a year now and has gained confidence and shown progression in all areas of learning. Currently making the transition into the next room, all staff have been extremely helpful and supportive for both my child and myself. This transition has been very smooth. We have regular reports and updates about the learning and having the opportunity to see observations and add our own is great too. I look forward to the journey ahead and seeing my child flourish at this nursery.

My daughter has recently moved from Butterflies to Pre School and we couldn't be happier with her progress and her wonderful time spent at Chrysalis. Having been at Chrysalis since she was 9 months old we have all been supported by the wonderful staff throughout her years. However, her time in Butterflies has been outstanding and her confidence has grown so much, it has been amazing to see! We thank the Butterfly staff so much for their extra care and special moments with her - nothing is ever too much trouble and we feel reassured leaving her in their care. Each and every staff member in this room has contributed to her increase in confidence and her continued enjoyment at nursery. The extra support shown when we had our second daughter this year will never be forgotten. Truly wonderful staff who we will miss very much! The transition to Pre School has gone smoothly, which we feel is a credit to all the staff and we look forward to these final months in Pre School!

I am really looking forward to seeing her develop and grow at Chrysalis!

Since joining Chrysalis, my daughter has developed in so many ways. She is more confident and balanced and loves playing and mixing with other toddlers. My daughter has had an amazing experience here at the nursery, once she settled in, she grew very close to the key workers here. We love all the teachers who are warm, caring and very professional. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents. You know your child is in safe hands when they are in Chrysalis. Thank you so much for making the difference. My daughter and I will miss the nursery very much.

I am thrilled with how well my daughter has settled into nursery life. She loves all the staff and all of the fun activities they do. I feel like the staff have all taken the time to help and get to know my daughter and I am very thankful to them.
