Chrysalis Day Nursery provide high quality learning for children aged three months to five years old.
The team of qualified and enthusiastic staff are committed to providing the best possible childcare; many staff members have worked there for over 15 years, something the nursery is very proud of.

The team pride themselves on providing a home from home, family environment where each child feels valued, welcome and secure, and can form a strong bond with their key person. The team have amazing relationships with all Chrysalis parents and love the feedback they receive from them about the nursery and the lovely staff. To ensure effective communication between parents/carers and the nursery at all times, there is an open door policy in place.

Children are actively encouraged to explore, learn, communicate and interact with one another. The team believe that children learn through play and the nursery’s extensive curriculum enables children to reach their full potential. They offer a huge range of different activities, to promote all areas of learning, they always put the children first in everything they do and pride themselves on being the best.

The nursery was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted at its most recent inspection (August 2025).

I couldn’t be happier with the care my daughter has received since joining Chrysalis Day Nursery. Having had a bad experience with another nursery we were apprehensive at trusting a new nursery with the care of our daughter who has additional medical needs, but we shouldn’t have been. The staff have
gone above and beyond to understand our daughter's needs and give us regular feedback that we can share with other health professionals. Our daughter is happy going to and coming home from nursery and loves to tell us about her day. We have no hesitation when sending her into the nursery and her younger sister will be joining her in the coming months.

I would not hesitate to recommend Chrysalis Day Nursery. Our son has been there nearly 4 years and our once tearful baby - who didn’t want to be left by his mum - has grown into a confident, giggly, adventurous, fun-loving pre-schooler. It is a wonderful, fun, creative and vibrant environment. The
staff are dedicated and approachable and they treat every child as an individual. They know their likes and dislikes, favourite toys and current interests. The nursery provides delicious fresh food and they plan an incredible range of activities in both the indoor and outdoor space. We are provided with updates each day via an App and always contacted in the event of any issue or concern. Our son had quite a few additional needs in his early years and the nursery was able to accommodate and plan round them. As a result, we have seen great leaps in his progress and he loves learning. We have never doubted that our son is safe, happy and cared for at Chrysalis Day Nursery - it’s a lovely place.

Cannot recommend Chrysalis Day Nursery enough. My daughter started in Caterpillars at 14 months old after delays due to the pandemic and as hard as the transition was for her all the ladies, both in the rooms and front of house, were amazing and made it very easy. I was reassured a lot and nothing has
ever been too much trouble. My daughter is now in butterflies and loves going, she loves to role play at home and she likes to be one of the ladies, reading me stories and gets toys out for me to play with. She eats better than I do with the varied and nutritious menu. They always respond promptly to queries and are all super friendly and lovely people. I have been impressed with the safety and even received calls to double check when relatives turn up to collect my daughter if I have forgotten to inform them which I think is really important. I feel really relaxed about my newborn son starting there in a few months and wouldn’t entertain sending him anywhere else. Thank you to everyone!

We recently moved to Northwich and we take our daughter (4) to Chrysalis Day Nursery. She has had a lot of change in her life so we were a little nervous with all that's going on; we had no need to be, she settled in brilliantly due to the attention, love and care from the staff. Chrysalis is bright,
clean and welcoming, with a lovely layout that allows my child to play and move. Their staff are all very approachable, helpful and a delight, she hugs them goodbye at night and has formed a bond in a short time. They do lots of activities and we get an endless array of crafts and pictures, which we love. They have a pet snail! The children can see through a counter to a kitchen, this is brilliant as our child asks about food, it has made her a little more adventurous in food which is a hidden bonus.
Brilliant, would recommend.
Also, good location with parking.

Absolutely amazing.
My little girl is thriving, I cannot thank the whole team for their care and support.
The food menu is so nutritional and varied, my little girl loves her time there.

Amazing nursery. All the staff are super friendly and kind and genuinely care about the children. Worked wonders with my son. They were so patient with him when he was settling and took a personalised approach. Now he is settled and loves all his ladies in cocoons.
The family feel extends from the
manager to all staff members and they honestly couldn’t do enough for my son and family.
Great team and I am pleased my son gets to learn from them and experience the friendly, fun culture.

My daughter started at Chrysalis Day Nursery when she was 11-months-old, I was initially really nervous about putting her into a nursery but we definitely made the right choice selecting Chrysalis. It is so evident how much our daughter loves attending by the way she walks through the door each morning.
The nursery staff are just lovely and it is so nice to know she is in safe hands with staff who really care. We are always given a good insight into what she has been up to every day and the app is filled with pictures, stories, food updates and other general remarks about her day. We have noticed such a big difference in our daughter's development since she has been at Chrysalis and she is always coming home having learnt new things. The meals at Chrysalis are so varied and nutritionally balanced, this has really helped our daughter become a generally good eater or she is at least willing to try most new foods! We are really glad we picked Chrysalis and it comes highly recommended from our family!

My granddaughter is 19-months-old and has attended this nursery for the last year or so. The staff are extremely kind and very caring, the food provided is excellent and the feedback given at the end of each day is really thorough and helpful. Since starting at the nursery my granddaughter has come
on in leaps and bounds - when she started she was tearful when she was dropped off but very quickly that stopped and she now walks in on her own very happily. When I collect her she is always engaged in what she is doing and is in no hurry to come home! The app is very good and gives an overview of the day. All staff without exception are lovely and I can't praise them highly enough.

This nursery is amazing! All staff are friendly and approachable, and always happy to help with anything. They are all brilliant with my child, they have helped numerous times with my child and myself with advice on some things. I love this nursery and wouldn't go anywhere else as my little one loves
it too!

My daughter started here in January 2021, since then she has developed both her social and educational skills where key developmental milestones have been achieved thanks to the nursery's time and effort. The nursery staff are caring, thoughtful and are always going the extra mile, such as when we all
had Covid they asked if we needed anything such as the basic food. The staff treat each child as if they were their own and this is noticeable by the happy/smiley children as I go to collect my own daughter, and that she enjoys her days at Chrysalis Day Nursery and is excited for her next day there.

My little boy started at Chrysalis Day Nursery just after he turned 1. I was initially really nervous about leaving him in the care of others however, the staff at Chrysalis soon put me at ease. They are all extremely caring and have gone out of their way to ensure that I am reassured. He has settled
in really well and I believe that is a testament to how lovely the staff are. The facilities are always really clean, the food is varied and the children all seem really happy. I love receiving updates and photographs - he is always doing something new and interesting.

We've had a wonderful experience sending our daughter into Chrysalis. Firstly with the staff, who are always very welcoming and lookout for the best interests of our daughter who always seems really happy and chatty when picking her up. We always feel comfortable that she has been looked after well
and given how tired she is when home, obviously been very active in the day! We also see updates on the app and the newsletter too, which is lovely to see our daughter develop and so engaged. Also, must note that throughout the past couple of years the protocols around Covid have been excellent too. Overall, certainly wouldn't have any issues recommending nursery to other parents. Super!

My little boy started at the nursery when he was 10 months old. I was concerned about how he would cope at such a young age, but I needn’t have worried. Chrysalis is an amazing nursery. The staff are so caring and friendly and my son absolutely adores them. He settled in really well and has formed a
lovely friendship circle. He genuinely looks forward to going every day! He recently moved from the baby room to the toddler room, and I was worried about how he would cope, as he was so attached to the staff in the baby room, but he took it all in his stride and it was handled really well. His development, confidence and personality has thrived under the team. You get daily updates and pictures via the app telling you about their day. There is a wide variety of activities each day and a fantastic, varied selection of meals for them to try. They also assess his milestones via the early year's framework, so you can follow their development. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chrysalis.

Lovely, clean, friendly environment, all staff are lovely. My daughter started aged 9 months (now 20-months-old.) initially for one day per week, now goes three days per week, she goes in without a care in the world, she really does enjoy her time here. All healthy, home-cooked meals, cannot fault this
place at all, would 100% recommend Chrysalis Day Nursery.

Great little place for my granddaughter. She really enjoys it here. She is learning so much and developing in the most wonderful way. She is a proper little character. We wouldn’t want her to be anywhere else. The staff are wonderful, all of them, but our family fave is the deputy manager.

Our daughter joined Chrysalis Day Nursery at 12-months-old. The setting is clean, welcoming and inviting. Our daughter has really settled into the setting so quickly, she holds her arms out to the staff who welcome her in in the morning, and staff are always warm and friendly with me too when I drop
her off. They are reassuring and informative at the start and end of each visit, giving me details of her day including meals she's had/wet nappies/sleeps/activities she has taken part in (this information is also completed daily and easily accessible on the app). This place really is great! I would highly recommend Chrysalis to other parents. Thank you to the amazing team! Your efforts are much appreciated.

My youngest daughter has been at Chrysalis since October 2020. As she hadn't been to many baby groups due to Covid I was worried about her settling in but she was completely fine. My eldest daughter attended the nursery until she started school 3 years ago and she still talks about it affectionately
so I should have known there was no need to worry.
The staff are all fantastic and have worked there for many years, they are very caring and professional.
The facilities are great, it has recently been redecorated, and the outside space for the children is lovely.
The nursery has a wide range of activities for the children both in and outdoors and follows the Early year's guidelines.
The nursery has an app which tells you what your child has done that day, about what they have eaten, when they have slept etc. There are also usually some photos so that you can see what fun they have had.
The nursery also has a chef who makes meals fresh daily

Great experience so far. Staff are always happy to answer questions and support with any extra day to day needs. The activities seem engaging, fun and varied, and my child goes running in every morning so definitely enjoys being there. We had lots of support and understanding for the little one whilst
getting settled after lockdown and staff take the time to get to know the children as individuals and really do care for them. Communication from staff is great, they are happy to help with any concerns/worries at any time and there are regular nursery updates as well. I particularly appreciate the daily updates via the app and the little extra touches that make the experience as a parent just as good.

My son started at Chrysalis Day Nursery preschool in December 2020 after some issues at his previous nursery and I can honestly say it has been the best move he could have made. Right from the start he was welcomed and settled in really well. He took a liking to one lady in particular and they developed
a really lovely relationship. As a mum, I was also really informed and kept up to date with his progress. He came on leaps and bounds at Chrysalis and I couldn’t thank them enough. Always smiling at the end of each day. I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone thinking of sending their child.
