Chrysalis Day Nursery

My little boy started at the nursery when he was 10 months old. I was concerned about how he would cope at such a young age, but I needn’t have worried. Chrysalis is an amazing nursery. The staff are so caring and friendly and my son absolutely adores them. He settled in really well and has formed a lovely friendship circle. He genuinely looks forward to going every day! He recently moved from the baby room to the toddler room, and I was worried about how he would cope, as he was so attached to the staff in the baby room, but he took it all in his stride and it was handled really well. His development, confidence and personality has thrived under the team. You get daily updates and pictures via the app telling you about their day. There is a wide variety of activities each day and a fantastic, varied selection of meals for them to try. They also assess his milestones via the early year's framework, so you can follow their development. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chrysalis.

Lovely, clean, friendly environment, all staff are lovely. My daughter started aged 9 months (now 20-months-old.) initially for one day per week, now goes three days per week, she goes in without a care in the world, she really does enjoy her time here. All healthy, home-cooked meals, cannot fault this place at all, would 100% recommend Chrysalis Day Nursery.

Great little place for my granddaughter. She really enjoys it here. She is learning so much and developing in the most wonderful way. She is a proper little character. We wouldn’t want her to be anywhere else. The staff are wonderful, all of them, but our family fave is the deputy manager.

Our daughter joined Chrysalis Day Nursery at 12-months-old. The setting is clean, welcoming and inviting. Our daughter has really settled into the setting so quickly, she holds her arms out to the staff who welcome her in in the morning, and staff are always warm and friendly with me too when I drop her off. They are reassuring and informative at the start and end of each visit, giving me details of her day including meals she's had/wet nappies/sleeps/activities she has taken part in (this information is also completed daily and easily accessible on the app). This place really is great! I would highly recommend Chrysalis to other parents. Thank you to the amazing team! Your efforts are much appreciated.

Great experience so far. Staff are always happy to answer questions and support with any extra day to day needs. The activities seem engaging, fun and varied, and my child goes running in every morning so definitely enjoys being there. We had lots of support and understanding for the little one whilst getting settled after lockdown and staff take the time to get to know the children as individuals and really do care for them. Communication from staff is great, they are happy to help with any concerns/worries at any time and there are regular nursery updates as well. I particularly appreciate the daily updates via the app and the little extra touches that make the experience as a parent just as good.

Amazing nursery. Excellent staff, good facilities, activities. My little boy is so happy here and runs in each day. Complete peace of mind when dropping him off. You’d struggle to find a better place!

Our daughter started Chrysalis Day Nursery just before her first birthday and she settled in very quickly. She has loved every day for the past three and a half years and retells every moment on the way to and home about this amazing, caring nursery and staff. She started in the baby class and is now in the pre school class and each transition has been a smooth and happy experience. She starts school in September and thanks to the wonderful, professional staff at Chrysalis she is confident and more than well prepared for this next adventure. Staff turnover is very low at Chrysalis and has a good mix of staff ages and our daughter knows them all by name. The staff are all extremely professional, experienced, kind and supportive. The daily activities are both educational and fun and the app informs parents what the children have done throughout the day. Our daughter has loved this nursery and has easily made friends. We would highly recommend this nurturing nursery to anyone.

Our son started at Chrysalis Day Nursery in September 2020. After being in lockdown for the majority of his life, my son was very wary of non family members and was very unsettled each time I dropped him off. All the nursery staff were kind and compassionate to him and us, as parents. I always felt at ease as I knew he would be well cared for and given the attention he needed to overcome his anxiety. Roll on to now and he loves going to nursery! He is always happy and I know from the daily updates that his true personality comes out and all the staff know him well. I can't recommend Chrysalis enough!

My little girl started nursery just before her 1st birthday. I started her at nursery as due to the pandemic her social skills weren’t great with other adults or children. Now 9 months later she is like a completely different child. She absolutely loves going to nursery, she loves playing with other children and doesn’t even look at me when she walks in anymore! She loves all the staff and they are all so lovely and helpful with settling in. My little girl has really come on since going to Chrysalis Day Nursery! She does the actions to songs that I’ve never even taught her. I fully trust the staff at Chrysalis looking after my little girl and have recommended the nursery to many others!

The nursery staff made me feel at ease from my first visit all the way through to now. I am able to communicate with the ladies when ever I need and nothing is too much. My daughter loves her nursery time, so much so that we have increased her days. Thank you to the lovely team for looking after my little one and making her time there so enjoyable.

Fantastic nursery. The team are incredible! My son settled in so quickly, the team make it such a nurturing and comfortable environment. Every day is packed full of educational fun and activities and they keep you well informed of how their day has been. My son has built such special bonds with his nursery nurses which is lovely to see, they go above and beyond to make their time in nursery special. I would recommend this wonderful nursery to everyone.

Our daughter joined the nursery in September, this was our first experience with a nursery as our older son went with a childminder. The nursery team were all so welcoming and made us feel very at ease, our daughter settled so quickly and doesn’t even look back when we leave her in a morning! All the staff we come into contact with are so kind, lovely and our daughter always has smiles for them all. We love the daily updates on the app and love seeing all the photos of how she has spent her day. She does lots of different activities and always seems to be busy. We are so glad we made the decision to choose Chrysalis Day Nursery and can’t recommend it highly enough!

Since 2011 we have sent all three of our children to Chrysalis Day Nursery and we could not recommend it highly enough. Our eldest children have very fond memories and our youngest is loving it. The ladies are great. They are friendly, fun, polite and professional. Our little girl is always talking about them by name and she has made some great friends. The office staff are wonderful. They are helpful, supportive, and efficient at communicating with parents. I have always felt a large amount of trust with Chrysalis and if we ever had a fourth (which we’re definitely not), I would not hesitate to send him or her as well.

The excellent experience prompted our return in 2019 with our second daughter. Staff continue to be kind, caring, supportive and attentive. The growth we have witnessed in both our children has been fantastic. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

From day 1, the whole team helped our little girl to settle into nursery. From settling in days to photos to show us how much fun she has. She has developed so much since coming to Chrysalis thanks to the amazing staff. The best choice we ever made!

Our child absolutely adores the staff, parent zone lets us know how he's getting on and he is coming along in absolute leaps and bounds since attending. They're not afraid to try new things with the children and the popularity speaks for itself!
