Chrysalis Day Nursery provide high quality learning for children aged three months to five years old.
The team of qualified and enthusiastic staff are committed to providing the best possible childcare; many staff members have worked there for over 15 years, something the nursery is very proud of.

The team pride themselves on providing a home from home, family environment where each child feels valued, welcome and secure, and can form a strong bond with their key person. The team have amazing relationships with all Chrysalis parents and love the feedback they receive from them about the nursery and the lovely staff - this can be seen by their review score of 10. To ensure effective communication between parents/carers and the nursery at all times, there is an open door policy in place.

Children are actively encouraged to explore, learn, communicate and interact with one another. The team believe that children learn through play and the nursery’s extensive curriculum enables children to reach their full potential. They offer a huge range of different activities, to promote all areas of learning, they always put the children first in everything they do and pride themselves on being the best.

I started my daughter at Chrysalis Day Nursery back in November after going back to work.
The nursery staff made me feel at ease from my first visit all the way through to now. I am able to communicate with the ladies when ever I need and nothing is too much. My daughter loves her nursery time, so
much so that we have increased her days. Thank you to the lovely team for looking after my little one and making her time there so enjoyable.

Fantastic nursery. The team are incredible! My son settled in so quickly, the team make it such a nurturing and comfortable environment. Every day is packed full of educational fun and activities and they keep you well informed of how their day has been. My son has built such special bonds with his

Our daughter joined the nursery in September, this was our first experience with a nursery as our older son went with a childminder. The nursery team were all so welcoming and made us feel very at ease, our daughter settled so quickly and doesn’t even look back when we leave her in a morning! All the
staff we come into contact with are so kind, lovely and our daughter always has smiles for them all. We love the daily updates on the app and love seeing all the photos of how she has spent her day. She does lots of different activities and always seems to be busy. We are so glad we made the decision to choose Chrysalis Day Nursery and can’t recommend it highly enough!

Chrysalis Day Nursery is a wonderful place for children and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending it to other parents.
All of the staff are very professional and are so caring and loving towards my child. You can see they really enjoy their jobs. Staff turnover is very low and that’s always a good
sign.
There is lots of outdoor play in the different outside spaces. My son enjoys physical activities and playing with all of the outdoor toys.
The food is cooked on site, the menu is varied and rotates regularly. The chef has been very accommodating of my son’s dietary requirements too.
Communication is excellent, Parent Zone gives you daily updates on what your child has been doing that day and there’s a weekly newsletter.
Nothing is too much trouble for the staff at Chrysalis. My son enjoys nursery and is happy and settled here. Thank you.

Since 2011 we have sent all three of our children to Chrysalis Day Nursery and we could not recommend it highly enough. Our eldest children have very fond memories and our youngest is loving it. The ladies are great. They are friendly, fun, polite and professional. Our little girl is always talking
about them by name and she has made some great friends. The office staff are wonderful. They are helpful, supportive, and efficient at communicating with parents. I have always felt a large amount of trust with Chrysalis and if we ever had a fourth (which we’re definitely not), I would not hesitate to send him or her as well.

My first experience with Chrysalis Day Nursery was when my eldest daughter started in 2017. For the duration of my child attendance, the staff at Chrysalis were fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble and we found all staff to be very caring, kind and supportive. My little girl enjoyed going to
nursery and built strong relationships with the staff. As a vegetarian, even the catering staff were always attentive and supportive to my child's dietary needs always going the extra mile to ensure she was catered for. Daily she was provided with hearty, nutritious meals that she thoroughly enjoyed.
The excellent experience prompted our return in 2019 with our second daughter. Staff continue to be kind, caring, supportive and attentive. The growth we have witnessed in both our children has been fantastic. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.

From day 1, the whole team helped our little girl to settle into nursery. From settling in days to photos to show us how much fun she has. She has developed so much since coming to Chrysalis thanks to the amazing staff. The best choice we ever made!

Our child absolutely adores the staff, parent zone lets us know how he's getting on and he is coming along in absolute leaps and bounds since attending. They're not afraid to try new things with the children and the popularity speaks for itself!

Our grandson, for whom we have an SGO, is always happy to attend. Staff are warm and welcoming in spite of the COVID restrictions. Feedback has been constructive and child-centred. We are impressed with the facilities and the spaciousness of the nursery and the outside play area. Our grandson is vegetarian
and he seems to enjoy the food very much. His days seem filled with interesting activities, some of which would be difficult to undertake at home. We appreciate the newsletters and the photographs on the app.

As a Grandparent, I would not hesitate to recommend Chrysalis. The staff in the baby room were absolutely exceptional and couldn’t be more caring. I can’t praise them all enough. My Granddaughter has now moved up rooms and I’m sure the staff there will be equally as good. Unfortunately during the pandemic,
I have not seen her in this environment or got to know the staff yet. Something I am looking forward to doing when it is safe to do so. They do some wonderful activities and compliments to the chef too. The home-cooked food looks lovely. The management and reception staff are amazing and cannot do enough for you. They even let my granddaughter sleep through and phone me when she wakes to collect her, so as not to disturb her. This means that quite often she goes over her session time but never once has this seemed to be an inconvenience. In fact, it was their idea! Something which I really appreciate. Most importantly my granddaughter is extremely happy. Thank you all.

Our child absolutely loves going to nursery and his confidence has gone through the roof since returning after lockdown. We can rest easy that he is happy and cared for when he is there. He has formed some good relationships with staff and looks forward to seeing them each day. We find the staff and
facilities at Chrysalis fantastic and love the fact that all the meals are home-cooked and the menus vary each week.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Chrysalis Nursery. The communication is brilliant and like a breath of fresh air (having had very poor communication at a previous nursery). The staff genuinely care about the children and that definitely comes across - my little boy is so happy and settled there.
The staff are caring and passionate - their staff turnover is very low and most of them have been there a long time which I take as a very positive sign of a happy work family.
Parents get a weekly newsletter with photos and the app they use has the food they've eaten and what activities they've done throughout the week. The stuff/activity tables that the staff take a lot of time to create for encouraging learning through roleplay are great.
In the summer months especially there is a lot of outdoor play - the outdoor area is a really good size.
The food is very good and varied and all cooked on-site in their open kitchen in the pre-school room which is fabulous.

I have been blown away by the amazing work they do at Chrysalis, both my daughters attended from being 1 and I am very sad to have said goodbye to everyone who makes this nursery feel like home from home.
The staff are exceptional. My daughters both thoroughly enjoyed their experience there and flourished
from the loving care they provided.
You won’t regret sending your little ones there, it is outstanding.

What can I say? I absolutely love this nursery and I would thoroughly recommend it to anyone. All of the staff are so nice, friendly and caring and my son has really enjoyed the chef's cooking (which always smells amazing). It is a very well organised nursery not only from the management side of things,
but I have also always admired how well organised all of the toys are, and despite the children having a wonderful time playing, it never feels like chaos. My son has learnt a lot from here and it always amuses me when he comes home and asks Alexa to play a song I've never heard of and then shows me the dance moves!
During and after the COVID-19 lockdown, the ladies were all so compassionate about our individual experiences during lockdown (it was a welcome relief when we could go back!) and management were not money-grabbing to those who were not ready to return. My little butterfly has flown off to school now but we'll be back for holiday club!

Chrysalis Day Nursery is wonderful. Both of my children have attended Chrysalis and thoroughly enjoyed their time there. My little boy has attended Chrysalis for 2 and a half years now and we couldn’t be happier with his experience there.
He took a long time to settle initially but the staff were amazing in reassuring him and building trust resulting in very strong bonds being formed with staff in all the rooms as he
has progressed through nursery.
All of the staff are very welcoming and happy to chat about his progress and development plus they are very flexible with all children and their individual needs- nothing is too much to ask e.g. need for naps, toilet training, extra comfort when needed - this is all very reassuring to us as parents. Staff have definitely gone over and above with his care on many occasions without hesitation.
His development since he started nursery has been fantastic and this has always been at his own pace and through play - meaning he is one very happy boy!
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Chrysalis ... we are very happy to be sending baby no 2 there in 2020!

After visiting lots of local nurseries in the search for one that I thought was suitable for our 1-year-old, I was recommended Chrysalis by many of the school mums.
After visiting I decided to put my daughter in 4 days per week and I am so glad that I did! She was so nervous and quiet when she first
went but after a few weeks she had grown into such a character. Every day she comes home so happy, chatting about her day and singing all the songs she has learnt.
The nursery staff have grown to be a second family for my daughter! I can’t thank them enough for the way they take care of my baby!

Chrysalis nursery is fantastic. The staff, from the chef, the carers and the ladies in the office have been wonderful during the 3 years my little girl has been there.
When we visited we were very impressed with the set-up, felt very welcome and we just felt it was right.
Moving up through the rooms
has been managed very well, meeting key workers and new members of staff and conversations around development have always been delivered well.
My child is one of the youngest in her year group but thanks to Chrysalis I have no doubt that she is more than ready to start school in September.
The catering has been fantastic, with my little lady often telling me that she only likes something when the chef makes it!
Finally, the way in which they have managed the changes required for COVID have been done so well, my little lady has come out happier than ever!
I would definitely recommend this nursery to anyone!

Chrysalis Day Nursery is excellent and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Both my sons attend and are very happy. They love all the activities, playing and always get excited about attending. The staff are amazing, informative, caring and friendly. The nursery has helped in times of crisis a number of
times. This is the best nursery by a mile within the area.
