Bright Horizons Callands Day Nursery and Preschool

We have had three children come through this nursery and have always had a good experience. We feel that consistency of staff through the years has helped us a great deal. Staff have helped us as a family over the years through difficult times and thank you all. We have never had any doubts about the children here and they have all developed on their journey.

Excellent, outstanding and caring staff.

Both of our children have attended Bright Horizons Callands. We have always been very happy with the level of care and attention our girls have received. The facilities available are excellent, in particular, the outside area is excellent. The staff have always had our utmost trust and we would recommend the nursery to others. In fact, family friends now attend the nursery on our recommendation.

My son has been very well cared for at preschool. He struggled to settle in initially and the staff went out of their way to make him feel secure and happy. He has had lots of fun during his time in preschool and I'm certain he will miss everyone when he leaves in September.

Bright Horizons has been outstanding in settling my daughters into the preschool environment. After a negative experience at a previous nursery, I brought my girls to Bright Horizons. From speaking to the manageress, I knew that my girls would settle in fine and I wasn't wrong. All the staff have been amazing, not only for my girls but for myself too. Communication has been excellent and the experience has been nothing but positive. I wish they could stay beyond preschool. Thank you.

Over the past two years, our daughter has thrived. She has enjoyed every single day and made wonderful friendships, not only with other children but with the staff.

Overall, the service provided over the last three years has been good, however, still very expensive compared to other local nurseries. My daughter enjoys attending and learning and her development needs are managed with a wide range of fun activities. Communication between staff in relation to child's care needs is something which needs to be improved and when a care plan is put in place, it needs to be followed by all staff and for more than a couple of weeks.

Come to spend the morning with my son and see how he is progressing. It's lovely to see him interact with his friends and watch his development. The nursery is well laid out with plenty of activities to keep him occupied and grow each day.

My daughter started at Bright Horizons in January she has settled really well and I am really pleased with all aspects of the nursery. The staff are very friendly and always helpful.

Also, it's really clean.

I highly recommend this nursery. I could not choose a better place for my son.

I couldn't have chosen a better nursery to change her to. The staff are fantastic, it's very clean and my daughter is coming along a treat.

I would like to know more about day to day activities and learning written on daily info sheet for parents - this can be quite basic at the moment.

We came along to the teddy bear picnic with our daughter, was an amazing afternoon. The staff were all amazing and made sure all the kids had what they needed and nothing was too much trouble and every child was included. My daughter feels really comfortable with all the staff and really loves coming to nursery.

My daughter started six weeks ago and I'm so happy with how much effort staff have put in helping my daughter settle in. Very pleased with how well she has taken to the nursery and how I'm always kept up to date.

On our visit to Bright Horizons Callands, we were greeted by a room full of happy children all learning in a very engaging early years environment. The staff were all helping to facilitate the children's learning and kept a watchful eye while the children independently explored the learning environment. All of the staff are very helpful and develop excellent relationships with the children. My 1-year-old son loves this nursery and I am glad we chose to place him here.

My little girl loves coming so much I cannot believe how much she has settled in. She has a very fun-filled day and we love the art she brings home, her development has come on so much in the 5 months she has been with you. I also could not ask for someone better to look after her. Thanks xxx.

Our daughter has just graduated since being at Callands from 16 months old. I can't praise the staff highly enough. Her journey is something that we will all look back on with fond memories. She has been given care and support throughout but mostly we feel that she has grown confident and into a wonderful little girl, thanks to this amazing group of people.

This nursery is definitley one of the best by far. My children have both been here from young ages and they have loved every minute. The support from the nursery over the years is outstanding. So much support from all the staff. They will always have a place in my heart. They have always uspported me and the kids.
