My son was at Bright Horizons from two years until five years old. He loved being there. The staff took really good care of him. He had all the attention that he needed. The nursery really helped with his personal development and growth. Thank you all, he misses you so much.
A really lovely nursery. Management are always very welcoming when I pick my niece up from nursery and the staff that look after her always there to tell me how her day has been and any other details I need to discuss, they are always on hand to help. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough.
My daughter has been attending Bright Horizons Didsbury since she was 1 year old and she will be leaving at the end of this week, now 3 and a half. The last 2 and a half years I have watched her grow and develop in all aspects thanks to the great staff and team at Bright Horizons Didsbury. She looks forward to her nursery days and talks happily about her friends and favourite key workers at home. She started in Baby 1 and learnt to walk whilst in Baby 2. They were a fab help with potty training whilst in Toddlers and she’s learning to draw shapes and write her own name now in Preschool. The food selection for vegetarians is also good and I am always told that my daughter has eaten well often asked for second and even third helpings so I know she’s well fed during her day at nursery. I have only positive things to say about this nursery and will definitely look to send my second child to a Bright Horizons nursery in the future. Thank you, we will miss you all.
My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 9 months old, she is now 2 and a half. She absolutely loves coming into nursery and has learnt so much whilst being here. The toddler room has supported me throughout potty training which was a massive help! Also, a great support when we decided to take her dummy away, these two were a big thing for my little girl so we are very grateful all the staff supported us with these. All the staff are very kind always smiling and make the room a fun and happy place to be in! The menu is great, we are really happy at how well she eats here as we struggle to get her to eat vegetables at home, so with her getting so many good things at nursery it makes us really happy!
My children attend Bright Horizons Didsbury and they absolutely love the staff and nursery. We’re very grateful for all the support and help provided by all member of staff and management. Our children are developing extremely well, they come home every day talking about all the exciting things they’ve done at nursery and how much loved and cared they get.
I would highlight recommend Didsbury nursery.
My little boy has attended Bright Horizons Didsbury from being 10 months old. The staff in Baby 1 are fantastic. They got to know my son really well in a short space of time; his likes, dislikes and just understanding what makes him tick as he is very independent! As a parent, I find it very easy to communicate with the nursery and the team are always happy to work with how you do things as a family. I have never felt awkward about asking for something to be done in a certain way. The children are clearly entertained and engaged throughout the day and I do not spend any of my working day worrying if he is OK - I know he is in really safe hands - which is basically what you want as a new mum. I would not hesitate to recommend Bright Horizons to anyone looking for childcare - it has a lovely, lively atmosphere and nursery drop offs are actually really enjoyable - nowhere near the harrowing experience new parents imagine!
Bright Horizons has been fantastic for my daughter. She has been going there since she was six months old, and is only going to leave it now that she is due to start school. Every member of staff is always bright, cheerful, friendly and very helpful. They create a wonderful family atmosphere at the nursery and I have loved seeing my daughter flourish during her time there. They have helped her to learn to write, and she has even learned some Spanish during her time there. She has made some great friends and loves her time there. I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough.
Great nursery, always felt very happy leaving my children there. My son has attended for 2 years and my daughter has recently started. My son is very confident and interacts well with others which a big part we put down to his time at nursery. He has learnt things he would never have done at home (such as speaking Spanish). The car park is very tight so getting in and out at busy times can be a bit tricky but that is a small negative. Overall, have had a very positive experience with the nursery and staff who are generally all very friendly and diverse which is great.
Bright Horizons in Didsbury has exceeded all my expectations from a nursery and provided exemplary care of my son for the last 18 months. His development has been significant and I am delighted with his progress. The primary reason for my writing the review is to highlight the effort, care and love that all the staff have shown our family and not just those who have looked after my son directly. He has made lots of friends and has become a curious, kind and confident little boy.
We had a really bad experience. From the settling in process, through to daily care. We found the staff to be disappointing. The baby room has no natural light. They say that they will respect your routine but not much effort is made to do this. Random naps, missing walks to get fresh air, basic care sometimes lapse “because they’re busy”. After a month we chose to move nurseries.
Staff are excellent in Didsbury, refreshments for parents on arrival, happy place for the children, forms are in place for any conflict between the children and parents are made aware of the issues, this is extremely thorough and something which should be in place in schools to make parents aware of bullying, the building is a good size with a variety of rooms for the children to play, the staff are consistent at Didsbury which shows the staff are happy to work there.
My wife and I are thoroughly happy with this nursery and our children love attending. They are always engaged, learning and well looked after but, more importantly, every day all the staff make a fuss of our children and we get the sense they are really loved here.
It is very professional, welcoming and very well managed. It is very clean and tidy and my child is so happy there. The daily forms aren't always fully completed, if I am picking up in a rush and don't have time to chat or they are busy, I don't always know what they have done in the day.
My daughter absolutely loved going to Bright Horizons Didsbury Branch. We never had a day when we needed to coax her to get there. She loved the teachers, food and activities which increased her self confidence during her time there.
My husband and I are very happy with Bright Horizons - the staff take a personal interest in my child and have gone out of their way to help him feel settled. My child has a lot of allergies and the team have been brilliant at managing these. They have taken the time to discuss his diet with me to gain a better understanding of what he is able to eat. My child seems to really enjoy himself at Bright Horizons and loves the team!
The nursery has been amazing. It's like a family. The staff have been lovely - they make us feel at ease when we are at work. My children feel this is their second home. All the staff are professional and friendly and I would recommend Bright Horizons to any worried parent that wants to return back to work.
The nursery is really excellent. The staff have always been great. The managers are fabulous and ensure the children are well looked after and always are available for parents when ever needed. The meals that are prepared for the children are delicious and nutritious with a great variety.
There is a special room with tea/coffee/hot chocolates/biscuits/water/fresh flavoured water/juices for parents in the morning and evening where there are delicious samples of the home baking that goes on in the nursery.
I have only had very positive experiences at this nursery and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a safe, friendly, caring, clean environment for their child/children.
The staff and management are amazing. I would rate this nursery as excellent in every category.
If you want to leave your child with a nursery that treats your little one like family then this is the place.
Well run by the management team.
Friendly staff. Very clean. Good facilities.
We have been so impressed with the personal touches they give to every child and family and the time they take to make everyone feel at ease and welcome. I was dreading my son's transition into childcare as he's always been so attached to me but every member of staff, from childcare to management have made it as easy and stress-free for us as possible. From the regular feedback on his day to the extra settling-in sessions offered we feel as if they really care about making sure all our needs are accounted for. He eats really appetising sounding meals and they are very accommodating of special diets. We cannot fault the nursery and I am so grateful that I know he is in a safe, friendly and stimulating environment now I've returned to work.
