A welcoming and 'Outstanding' rated Ofsted nursery in Didsbury.

The Didsbury Day Nursery and Preschool is situated just off Barlow Moor Road and is an ideal location for parents commuting to and from Manchester. Providing quality childcare and education, supporting every child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

Following a recent refurbishment, the nursery has excellent facilities and six qualified teachers working in the nursery. All age groups have access to the outdoors where the garden allows them to be outside on a daily basis. The nursery holds regular activities and events for families throughout the year, including an annual Graduation Ceremony for children leaving the nursery for ‘big School’.

All-inclusive fees mean that you have less to pack on a busy morning, with everything from healthy lunches and snacks to branded nappies and wipes included.

The nursery has been awarded an Ofsted rating of ‘Outstanding’ for their commitment to high quality childcare and education (February 2017).

Today, I dropped off my niece in her room for the first time, and I felt really welcomed. The staff are so nice and greeted me. They helped me around as I didn't know where her peg was. I could tell they really care for the children, and they know how to calm each child with the things the child likes.
I honestly felt so comfortable leaving her. I know she is well cared for.

My son loves nursery here, he laughs or smiles when he has arrived - says everything.
He has always been very settled here and the dedicated staff have massively been a part of that.

What a wonderful place! After a stressful experience with an old nursery, Bright Horizons Didsbury provided a safe place for our son.

I love this nursery. The staff are amazing and patient! I can't recommend this nursery enough! My son's speech has come along so great and he plays well with other children because staff are very encouraging of his development as well as engaging in group activity. I love all the staff here especially
two staff members in particular, they always smile when I come pick my son up.

My daughter has been at Bright Horizons Didsbury Day Nursery and Preschool for almost 3 years and my 11-month-old son has just started, so I have grown to know the nursery and staff pretty well in that time.
I honestly can't think of anywhere else I'd rather my kids went. There's a real community feel
and warmth to it, from the nursery management to the room workers and the support staff.
Our daughter has thrived since day one. She's confident, well-socialised and a happy child. She's stimulated in new ways daily and often surprises us with new skills, words, insights and knowledge. Of course, whenever I ask her what she's done that day all she says is 'played with my friends' but if her takeaway is that she spent the day playing then I'm happy!
What else to say, Communication is great, there's a balanced menu which changes regularly, there's clear thought and planning that goes into the learning side which is delivered in a fun way, and I'm comfortable leaving my children in their hands.

I have found Bright Horizons Didsbury Day Nursery and Preschool to be an outstanding nursery that is providing my granddaughter with outstanding care. The nursery has a wonderful, pleasant and calm aura. You are treated and greeted on a daily basis with the utmost respect and are made to feel extremely
welcome. The care my granddaughter is receiving is over and beyond my expectations, the staff work closely with the families in order to maintain the outstanding care of each and every child in their care. Confirmed by other parents who I am acquainted with, whose children attend the nursery. I must say it is very rare to find such an amazing nursery. For me, it ticked off all the boxes for a high standard of care.

I can't recommend Bright Horizons Didsbury Day Nursery and Preschool enough! The staff are superb, learning development plans are clear and engaging.
Our daughter loves nursery which makes it even better for us knowing she is cared for whilst learning.
Toddler room 2 staff are incredible, five-star
review. Management is engaging and brilliant, they know all children's names on welcome and byes in the afternoon.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Angelica has worked in childcare for over nine years, with eight of those years spent at Bright Horizons. She is qualified with an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, a Foundation Degree in Early Years Childhood Studies, a BA (Hons) in Early Years Leadership and Management, and is currently completing her dissertation for an MBA in Business Administration (Human Resources). Angelica loves working in the childcare sector and is committed to providing the best start in life for all children in their care. Providing high-quality care and education is her number one priority.


Originally from Venezuela, Angelica has been living in the UK for 11 years. She is married and has three beautiful children. Much of her weekends are filled with the children's clubs, walks, and family meals.

Ada

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Ada graduated from university in 2019 with a degree in Business and Management, and since then, she has been working in childcare—a field she has always been passionate about.


She finds great joy in watching children grow and develop, which led her to join Bright Horizons in 2022. Since then, she has had the opportunity to work in several of their nurseries, each offering unique experiences that have helped her develop new skills.


Ada holds a Level 3 qualification in childcare, as well as a Level 3 Early Years SENCO qualification, and she has recently begun pursuing a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She is deeply committed to providing children with high-quality education and diverse opportunities every day.
