A welcoming and 'Outstanding' rated Ofsted nursery in Didsbury.

The Didsbury Day Nursery and Preschool is situated just off Barlow Moor Road and is an ideal location for parents commuting to and from Manchester. Providing quality childcare and education, supporting every child’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

Following a recent refurbishment, the nursery has excellent facilities and six qualified teachers working in the nursery. All age groups have access to the outdoors where the garden allows them to be outside on a daily basis. The nursery holds regular activities and events for families throughout the year, including an annual Graduation Ceremony for children leaving the nursery for ‘big School’.

All-inclusive fees mean that you have less to pack on a busy morning, with everything from healthy lunches and snacks to branded nappies and wipes included.

The nursery has been awarded an Ofsted rating of ‘Outstanding’ for their commitment to high quality childcare and education (February 2017).

Staff always supportive and accessible. A great range of activities, indoor and out. This is our second child through this nursery and soon to be a third. Also recommended to a neighbour whose daughter also enjoys it here.

My child is very settled. The settling in sessions were amazing, giving my child several weeks to settle before they started helped me adjust to going back to work. Excellent care! Excellent nursery.

There is a strong educational element to this nursery which has benefited my kids enormously. They're learning so much here - songs, language development, maths, social skills, etc. The staff are really dedicated to making each day fun, interesting and varied. They keep you informed as to what they're
doing and take time to celebrate special events (the preschoolers had a carol concert, for example, which obviously took a lot of effort and was wonderful to watch). The food is tasty and healthy, the place is always clean, and the staff do a great job running the nursery. They're friendly, professional, obviously dedicated to the kids, and always willing to talk to parents about any additional needs or special circumstances (they've helped me out a couple of times). My children are thriving!

My sons have attended Kidsunlimited Didsbury for 5 years between them. They ask everyday if its a "nursery day". They are greeted each day with a smile from the friendly staff team! I would recommend the nursery to any parent in the Didsbury area.

MY child is now in the Toddler Room, and started when she was 6 months old. The care she has received has been amazing. Staff are dedicated, kind and passionate about their work. My child's needs have been met fully, and my expectations blown away. The staff go above and beyond every day. I have just
registered my second child due in January as I know spaces are limited. The food is of high standards, all the staff from the house keeper - to chef- to nursery nurses - the the management, are excellent. Thank you Kidsunlimited Didsbury!

My granddaughter attend Kidsunlimited Didsbury as part of the back up care service provided. We needed a few days emergency care.
She attended Preschool for 3 days and loved her time there.
On picking her up there was always plenty of activities going on and play outside in the garden.
We would certainly
recommend the back up emergency care it was so easy to book in without any long term contracts.
The staff were helpful and friendly, parking was easy in the car park outside. The only issue we had was my granddaughter never wanted to come home.

We chose kidsunlimited in Didsbury due to the closeness of my work and recommendations from friends. Our son has quite a few dietary requirements (egg allergy, lactose intolerance) but he is properly catered for and eats a variety of different foods. The staff are lovely and there are no worries or
issues when dropping him off in a morning. Our son goes to nursery 2 full days a week and we feel due to this environment, his development has progressed quickly. We would definitely recommend kidsunlimited Didsbury.

Amazing nursery - we have had 3 children come through Kidsunlimited Didsbury. The staff are so amazing at their jobs. They are friendly, kind and trustworthy. I can highly recommend it to anyone. The food is amazing and healthly, the housekeeper keeps the nursery tidy and the managers are fab and are

This is my second child that has been to Kidsunlimited Didsbury. During the time that they have both been at nursery we have been made to feel very welcome. The boys have come on in leaps and bounds. The staff take the time to listen and take a genuine interest in your child. I would recommend kidsunlimited
to any parent.

I LOVE THIS NURSERY. My daughter is in preschool at Didsbury, she has been through every room from baby 1 all the way through to preschool. The care and attention from every single member of staff is incredible, each and every one of them from management to housekeeping have been dedicated to the welfare
and development of my little girl for the past two and a half years. They all have a smile and a warm welcome when you arrive at drop off. The management team are very happy to help in anyway they can and whatever your question or query is everyone strives to help you.

My child loves coming to this nursery. The staff are all so lovely, it's nice that my child has such a good bond with the staff in the room. My child even asks to come at the weekend! My child needs additional support with eating and the staff have done enough to aid this as my child has really come
along with this since attending nursery.

During summer time and inset days both my girls attend Kidsunlimited Day Nursery. The welcome is warm and they are encouraged to take part in activities making them inclusive and feel part of the nursery. The activities are extended further for them to meet their age level. Outdoor activities were wonderful
and my daughters didn't stop talking about what they did during the day. The nursery took into account their diet personal interests and choice of activities. They were encouraged to join in and play independently too, enjoyed exploring in the home corner with real fruits and vegetables which they loved. Would definitely recommend it to all worth every penny.

Angelica

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Angelica has worked in childcare for over nine years, with eight of those years spent at Bright Horizons. She is qualified with an NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, a Foundation Degree in Early Years Childhood Studies, a BA (Hons) in Early Years Leadership and Management, and is currently completing her dissertation for an MBA in Business Administration (Human Resources). Angelica loves working in the childcare sector and is committed to providing the best start in life for all children in their care. Providing high-quality care and education is her number one priority.


Originally from Venezuela, Angelica has been living in the UK for 11 years. She is married and has three beautiful children. Much of her weekends are filled with the children's clubs, walks, and family meals.

Ada

Job Title: Deputy Manager

Ada graduated from university in 2019 with a degree in Business and Management, and since then, she has been working in childcare—a field she has always been passionate about.


She finds great joy in watching children grow and develop, which led her to join Bright Horizons in 2022. Since then, she has had the opportunity to work in several of their nurseries, each offering unique experiences that have helped her develop new skills.


Ada holds a Level 3 qualification in childcare, as well as a Level 3 Early Years SENCO qualification, and she has recently begun pursuing a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She is deeply committed to providing children with high-quality education and diverse opportunities every day.
