Partou Playdays Day Nursery & Pre-school

My daughter has been attending Playdays Nursery for 6 months and right from the start was given such a warm and personal welcome which helped her settle in quickly. The Playdays team are incredibly warm, friendly and nurturing and communicates brilliantly with us, and we have seen our daughter's confidence and progression over the last 6 months really flourish. The nursery environment is lovely, the activities are creative, interesting and varied and we love getting a full and personal debrief at the end of each day. I would recommend Playdays Nursery to any parent without hesitation and we look forward to her continuing her journey.

Our daughter has attended Playdays Private Day Nursery and Pre-School, Blackrod, since April 2022 and I couldn’t speak more highly of the nursery. From being in the baby room now up to upper toddlers the staff in each room have always been extremely caring and helpful. Unlike other nurseries we have experienced there is a real personal touch at Playdays. Since my first initial visit to the nursery the manager remembered my name upon coming back, and all the staff including the cook know who my daughter is. The new outside facilities are also above and beyond, and they spend lots of time in the outdoors which we love. I would highly recommend this nursery and all of their staff.

The menu is varied which gives the children the chance to try new foods and the report you get at the end of the day is detailed.

A brilliant setting with the children in the forefront of their minds. Nothing is too much hassle and the staff really know and deeply care about each child. Lots of resources available and opportunities for the children to learn, including in the new outdoor space! Wouldn’t send my daughter anywhere else!

The team at Playdays Blackrod are fantastic! The transition from upper toddlers to pre-school has been very smooth and our daughter is so happy each day she is there! The staff nurture and develop all of the children and build their character through structured and fun learning activities!

Absolutely fantastic nursery, amazing staff so friendly and helpful. Everything is so organised and it is a pleasure to send my son here as I know he is looked after so well by every staff member. Can’t fault the nursery in any area.

The ladies that run this nursery are absolutely incredible! So helpful and also my little boy absolutely loves them. It doesn’t matter if it’s 7:30am or 5:55pm you are always greeted with a smile. I would recommend to any parent looking for a nursery for their child.

Amazing nursery, amazing staff, my child couldn't be happier. Such a lovely place to bring your children and them be so happy when they're collected. The spaces are all so clean and inviting and the staff so knowledgeable and welcoming.

My son has been at Playdays for over a year and the staff, room and outside space has had him beaming the biggest smile at pick up time every day. He has had the opportunity to attend swimming classes, forest school, dance classes and visits to local libraries, parks and churches. Outstanding nursery with very attentive, professional and lovely staff!

The most positive and well ran nursery! I am so comfortable with every member of staff at Playdays. Their communication is amazing and I know my child is getting the very best here. Management are always brilliant and keep us up to date with events and always organise events such as Santa’s grotto which makes us feel so welcome.

My daughter's nursery has been amazing for her she’s grown to be an amazing little girl with the help of going here. Her vocabulary is perfect and the staff are amazing in every room she moves up to. I would always 100% recommend any child going here and I certainly will be sending my next baby here too!

I had to move my boys from their original nursery to Playdays when we moved to Blackrod in 2021. I was initially worried about how the boys would be settling into a new nursery but I needn’t have worried, Playdays have been amazing since day one and far surpass the previous nursery provision. This nursery has gone above and beyond to ensure my children know they are loved, valued and cared for. My eldest son is now in reception and loves to come back to Playdays to pick his brother up and see everyone - he also loves the warm reception he gets! Forrest school is the highlight of the week for my son and because the staff know he loves it so much they have occasionally taken him more than once in the week - living his best life! My youngest goes to school this time and I will be really sad to see him leave however I am very grateful for all that Playdays have done to help grow my boy into a confident young man who, like his brother was, is more than ready to take on school life.

My experience with my child at the Nursery has been very good. My child is well looked after during their time at Nursery, the activities they do with the children is enabling my child to grow every day. They are learning new skills, manners, and behaviours every day, due to the swimming lessons they offer my child is now confident in water and this showed on our recent holiday compared to previous years

My little boy has been going here for around 14 months after his previous nursery closed down unexpectedly - whilst looking for an alternative nursery another parent mentioned Playdays - we wish we'd have known about it sooner as our child has flourished, we'll be sad to leave the nursery and fantastic staff when he leaves soon for school but will always be grateful for our sons amazing time here, we can't recommend this place enough.

An amazing nursery, the staff here go above and beyond for the children, the areas set out in the rooms are the best I have seen from viewing nurseries in my area. My little boy has gained so much confidence since he started a few months ago, he loves going and always has so much fun. I would recommend to anyone!

Playdays have exceeded my expectations. It is always well organised despite the chaos many children can bring. It is always clean, despite all the messy play activities. The staff are always helpful, kind, gentle and approachable. I was initially nervous about leaving my little one under the care of others, but I now feel relaxed knowing she's in safe hands. I really enjoy the opportunities that Playdays offer for parents to stay and play. I feel pampered on these days with all the refreshments and treats we get.
