Partou Playdays Day Nursery & Pre-school

She has always been a confident little girl but her time at Playdays has seen her speech develop, her interaction with others came on and more importantly her ability to play and be creative soar. She is so happy to go to nursery school each day it truly takes the pressure and guilt off of me and her dad, knowing she is happy and well cared for.

Our daughter started at Playdays just under a year ago, we can honestly say we are so pleased we chose it to be her nursery.

All of the staff genuinely care and have made a real effort to get to know our daughter properly; we haven't once felt like she is 'just another child'. We are updated regularly on her development via the app, at handovers each day and have even had a parents' evening. The activities are imaginative and plentiful. Our daughter has been taken on walks around the village, numerous trips to the local park and to Haigh Hall since she joined. The weekly Moo Music classes are also a firm favourite. The facilities, particularly the recently renovated gardens are great. There is plenty of outside play and 'fresh air' time. The food is homemade, varied and nutritious with lots of fruit and vegetables.

Our daughter is happy to be at nursery and clearly enjoys her days there. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Playdays.

Fabulous nursery. All three of my children love/have loved spending their first years of life here. The staff are amazing and very professional. The food is excellent and always very nutritious. I swear my children eat well at home because they have always had a wide variety of flavours at nursery. The outside space is fabulous. There is honestly no better feeling than knowing your children are being well looked after and are happy out of their home environment. Happy babies - happy mama! Thank you Playdays!

After a hard start finding my son a nursery that suited his needs, we enrolled him at Playdays Blackrod - absolutely brilliant staff, brilliant facilities and generally cares about the children and their needs. My son could not be happier at Playdays!

Wonderful nursery and pre-school. My little one has attended for over 2 years and he loves it. All the staff are brilliant, so caring and loving towards the children, and make them feel included. The activities they set up are excellent, the range and variation really keep him engaged. Anything from painting and sand play to swimming lessons at the local pool. The building itself is lovely and well-kept and the outside space, which has just been re-done, is amazing, my little boy couldn't stop talking about it when he first went out there. They've helped to shape him into a confident, loving little boy and I couldn't recommend them enough.

I would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

Playdays are fantastic. My eldest son who is now 5 absolutely loved going and his development from going was fantastic. My 2 year old daughter is now there and I can see the same with her. Her social skills have improved so much especially being born through covid. I cannot recommend them enough. The staff are fantastic and so friendly too.

I would highly recommend to any parent that is considering Playdays for their child.

The meals are really good home-cooked meals at lunch and a snack tea later in the day. My little boy has been helped so much with his self-restricted diet. He now is more willing to try new foods thanks to the support from the ladies at Playdays nursery. We would definitely recommend Playdays.

Playdays is amazing and really helps my son to do his best. The staff here are great and allow my child to learn and play in a safe and educational environment. All staff are approachable and always work to ensure the best is being achieved by each child, they also show concern for my child's health as well as his educational needs.

We love Playdays nursery and our daughter has always loved going there from being a baby. We always feel like she is safe and happy there. The staff are very friendly and clearly love the children. The management go above and beyond to help and solve any issues you might have. They always have fun extra activities for both the children and parents to take part in.

My child has been at the setting over 3 years now and each room has been specially designed to help my daughter flourish in the environment. The staff are committed and the changeover of staff is minimal, allowing my child to grow meaningful attachments with staff which has built her confidence. The learning experiences are all linked towards the current curriculum and beyond allowing my child to not only learn and develop but gain wider skills such as empathy, risk taking and self care needs. Additional activities are also available such as swimming and dance and staff go above and beyond in activities to involve parents such as nativities, Fathers/Mothers Day breakfast. My child has happily, crawled, walked and now runs into Playdays to see her friends (including the staff). It will be a sad day when she leaves but I will continue to spread the word of this fantastic setting so other parents and children can enjoy, as much as we do!

Brilliant nursery and all staff care for my daughter like she's their own. She loves going to nursery now. When she started she lacked confidence but now is bursting with it. Cannot rate it enough. I worried about her moving up to pre-school but because of the time and effort staff have put in my daughter has found it a breeze. Thank you!

The staff are fantastic. I feel my child is safe at the nursery and could not fault them. They keep me up to date on everything and anything that my child does. The menu they have is really good and lots of fresh fruit and vegetables used to make the menu well balanced. They have upgraded the garden recently and what a beautiful garden it is. It's nice to see money being spent in the nursery to make it different and fun for the kids and they all love it. This is my second child to send to the nursery and there was no second choice, it was always going to be them.

My daughter has attended Playdays for the last 3 years and has loved every minute. At each stage of her development I have been informed on what they are doing to help her achieve her milestones and the staff go above and beyond to look after my daughter. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. I would recommend this nursery to anyone.

I spent a lot of time researching all the nursery schools in our local area to ensure I chose the right one when sending our child to school. I have been very happy with Playdays as the staff are all lovely, and more importantly, our child enjoys going.

Very well managed nursery with great staff! It's clear that the nursery sets high standards across various aspects of the provision of care and development of children. I'm grateful to have been able to send my child to the nursery over the last 18 months or so.

A fantastic nursery! My little girl absolutely loves going to nursery and always has. She does so many activities and plays outside lots which is her favourite thing to do. All the staff know who she is and are so friendly.

My little boy loves coming to nursery and talks so fondly of his time there. The staff are all very attentive and show genuine care towards each child from what I have witnessed. Communication between myself and the nursery is great, I have a good awareness of what the children do during the day, and also know that I can speak to any staff member about anything if required. I have recommended the setting to a friend whose child now also attends too.

My daughter has been coming here since she was 8 months old and is now due to turn 3. The staff are all friendly, approachable and know my daughter well! The manager is fantastic and nothing is too much trouble, the support the nursery has given our family over the past two years has been amazing. Our daughter walks in with a smile and leaves with a smile and does not stop chattering about her jam-packed day once we get home! I would 100% recommend Playdays to anyone who is looking for childcare providers.
