Situated in the heart of Blackrod, Partou Playdays Day Nursery and Pre-school is a triple Ofsted ‘outstanding’ rated setting (August 2019, October 2013, February 2011), providing exceptional care and education for babies and children up to the age of five.

Set within a beautifully refurbished grammar school building, the nursery has five bright and stimulating playrooms and fantastic outdoor spaces complete with mud kitchen, climbing tree, huge sandpit and an allotment.

Children at the setting also enjoy plenty of extra-curricular activities including music, dance and swimming lessons alongside the hugely popular forest school sessions and trips into the local community. Parents can keep track of their child’s activities and development using the nursery’s online learning journal.

Delicious, nutritious meals and snacks are freshly prepared in the nursery kitchen, providing children with a balanced diet bursting with fresh vegetables, fruit, meat and fish.

I cannot recommend Playdays enough! My little boy loves it and has come on so much since starting. I’m so happy with the care he receives. The outdoor space is fab! All the staff are amazing. Thank you so much.

Amazing nursery! My daughter is very clingy but after a couple of sessions at Playdays she settled in absolutely fine and now enjoys going. All the staff are lovely, communication is great and there's nothing they could improve on.

Play Days nursery has been a delightful experience for both my children. From the moment we enrolled, the staff made us feel welcomed. The nurturing environment fosters creativity and learning, while the diverse activities encourage social skills. The dedicated and caring staff ensure my child's development
and well-being. The facility is safe, clean, and equipped with age-appropriate resources. I appreciate the regular communication, keeping us informed of our child's progress. The nutritious meals provided add to the overall positive experience. Fantastic nursery with impeccable staff, my daughter settled in really well as the whole team made her feel at ease. My little girl enjoys playing in the new outside area and always comes home with a smile on her face. I would highly recommend to any parent looking for a nursery for their child.

Playdays is a fantastic nursery! The manager and staff are all very warm and friendly and you can tell they love their jobs and all the children they work with. My son really enjoys his time at nursery and the activities and resources on offer, both indoors and outdoors, are excellent.

My son attends Playdays and from when he started in October 2022 they have been nothing but helpful, caring, and give him the best care I could wish for. They have experienced staff who know your child well and the activities and days are educational and fun. My child always comes home with a smile
on his face. Highly recommend.

Wonderful graduation ceremony. Nice recap of the year and very cute to see my child, and all others graduating, in their caps and gowns. The staff all seemed very invested in the children, as they have throughout the year, and it was nice to see the care and attention which had been put into the ceremony.

We cannot fault Playdays, the staff are always so lovely and provide informative updates on how our little boy's day has been when picking him up. He has thrived since first starting in Lower Toddler, he is now in Upper Toddlers and his development is fantastic. Massive appreciation for giving such

My daughter has recently started at Playdays and the whole process has been so smooth. Staff are friendly and always welcoming and my daughter loves it and is always smiling. It's hard to find a right place to send your little ones but Playdays has made that whole process easy and reassuring.

We love Playdays, we were nervous about sending my daughter to nursery as she has a learning disability but we didn't need to be. The staff are all amazing. They all take time to get to know my daughter, not just her keyworker, and we get great feedback at the end of everyday. The range of activities
the children do give them lots of educational experiences through play and my daughter has thrived. We've also had brilliant support with potty training.

My daughter has been at Playdays for over 2 years and has gone from lower toddlers all the way through to pre school. She has loved every class she has been in and has grown so much from being at Playdays. I can’t imagine a better environment for her to learn and have fun. The staff are amazing and

It's a fantastic nursery. The staff have been excellent at looking after our child.
They have helped them settle in and grow with confidence.
The nursery goes above and beyond to offer a wide range of activities to both entertain and help bring on their skills as they develop.
They have a great
outdoor section which offers more variety to the kids.
Security is obviously a big concern but they have a great system in place with fingerprint scanning entry and plenty of staff in each room.
The nursery go above and beyond to celebrate certain dates and activities which helps you as a parent have a little peak into their daily life, whether it's through parents' stay and play, or a more national day.
Another great addition the nursery does is keeping you updated with photos through the term so again you can a little flavor of how they are developing whilst you are working.

Playdays Nursery, Blackrod plays a huge part in our family life, they have helped us care for our two boys over the last six years and counting. My daughter is coming to the end of her nursery journey. I have now had four children attend Playdays and all have them have loved attending. The children are well cared for and you get the sense they are loved by the staff. The range of activities is very good and includes, forest school, dancing and
swimming lessons. The outdoor play area is fantastic and I love that the children spend as much time as possible playing outside. All in all, I would recommend Playdays to all my family and friends.
