Children 1st Main Street Nursery School

My son started Children 1st @ Main Street in August 2016. I loved looking round the nursery all the Children were engaged in activities and the staff where focused with the children. The staff where very friendly and made us and my son very welcome. When my son started I was a very anxious and worried Mummy! The senior of under 2’s was fantastic with my son and built up a great bond with him which made me feel so much better. My son is now in Peter Rabbits room and loves it. He has great friends but most of all he’s got a great relationship with the staff in the room which, as a Mummy, is key! All you want is for your child to be looked after, cared for and loved like you as a parent give them. Main Street give exactly this.

The app and diary updates are great. It's lovely to see photos and videos of her playing.

Would 100% recommend to anyone.

My son loves going to nursery and is comfortable with all the staff he always comes out having had a good day always. The care they give the children is great and seem to know all the individual needs of each child and connect with them as soon as they walk through the door. Staff always look happy to see you. They helped me potty train my toddler and was fantastic. Will be sad when he has to leave to move up to school.

My child is at Children 1st @ Main Street. He loves his time at nursery and is well looked after by all the staff. What stood out the most when I was choosing the nursery was the clean homely environment and the home-cooked meals by a designated chef.

The cleanliness of the nursery is amazing. Would 100% recommend others to join, in fact, I already have.

I am really happy with my nursery. Both of my sons have been there (youngest son still goes there). Environment and staff are excellent. Staff are very professional and friendly. I can see good progress in my children's development. The nursery is always clean and tidy and they provide healthy meals and snacks.

Nursery keeps parents informed and we have good communication between nursery and home. I can recommend to all my friends.

Staff are always attentive and helpful and both my children are always content on drop off and collection.

I just love Children 1st @ Main Street. The staff are great, activities and learning development as well. My daughter loves coming back for every session.

I am very happy with the level of care my son receives at Children 1st @ Main Street. He has been attending since he was 8 1/2 months old and I believe the passionate and dedicated staff team that have worked closely with my son, have helped him to become the clever, kind and happy little boy he is. Thank you to all the team!

Never have had the pleasure of leaving a child with such wonderful people. You can't help but feel like your part of the family at Main Street. It's so personal as you feel like the staff know your child so well and as it shows, no matter how individual they are or what requirement's they have. All the rooms are clean, organised and well presented. I like to say a personal thank you for being so great with my daughter and really supporting with her eating. You're all amazing.

Having looked at several different nurseries for our little girl, we both immediately felt that Main Street was the one for us. The managers and team are fantastic and my little girl loves going to nursery so much. I have never once been worried to leave her even when she's not feeling 100% as I know she will be well looked after. She has made some great friends and looks forward to going. I recommend Main Street to everyone I know who is looking for a local nursery!

I can't rate this nursery highly enough. I feel totally at ease leaving my daughter in their care. My daughter is now 3 and has been attending Main Street since she was around 10 months old. She has come on leaps and bounds since being at nursery and I feel this is down to the care and attention she receives whilst there. She always comes homes saying she has had a really good day and is always talking about her key workers. The nursery setting is modern, clean and welcoming and the staff are all really friendly. The food is great too - my daughter only seems to eat well when she's at nursery!

Children 1st @ Main Street is a fabulous well-rounded nursery. My daughter has been attending for almost two years and has moved through each of the rooms (baby, toddler and now preschool). Every single member of staff and the trainees have been welcoming, friendly and supportive of her and us as parents. The manager is accommodating and supportive at all times. The environment is bright and varied. My daughter eats all of her food and the outdoor area is large but safely enclosed. I fully recommend this nursery to anyone who asks.

Lovely nursery who always have time to listen. My children over the years have had a wonderful time here.

Both our boys have attended this nursery and have really loved going. Being there for 2 days a week has really brought both of them on in terms of confidence, speech and various other things. The staff are professional and friendly and always go the extra mile. We don't have a bad word to say and feel our children have really benefited from being brought up in this excellent learning environment.

After being reluctant to send my child to a nursery in the first place, I now believe sending her to Children 1st is the best decision we've made as parents so far. The staff are friendly, kind and genuinely pleased to see my daughter when she comes through their doors. They aid her development at every turn and she loves every moment she spends there. I cannot speak highly enough of the nursery and the staff.

Children 1st on Main Street is an absolutely great nursery. The whole staff is so friendly and are on hand if you need help with anything involving your child. They are so good with my son and have helped him come on loads. I like it so much my daughter is starting soon.
