Children 1st Main Street Nursery School is located in Long Eaton, close to the town centre and local bus routes and provides childcare for children aged from birth to five years.

The nursery has bright, open learning areas for babies, toddlers and pre-school children and also provides after-school care for children aged between five and twelve years.

The outdoor area features a spacious garden designed to maximise the potential for outdoor play and children are encouraged to choose their own activity with a huge variety of options both inside and out.

The friendly, enthusiastic staff are all fully trained and experienced to support each child's holistic development. Each child receives the maximum care and support with high staff to child ratios.

The nursery offers funded places for eligible 2, 3 and 4-year-olds.

With it being our first child the transition of going back to work was very comforting and reassuring. Very flexible with any issues we have had with behaviour and potty training. Always available with advice on anything from potty training to development areas and now schools. My daughter has been
here since 7 months and has developed so well and very happy with her new transition to school.

My son has been at Children 1st @ Main Street since May 2019. We are very happy with our decision to place him in Main Street. He loves the staff and we feel there is a genuine bond between the staff and him. I feel reassured knowing that they are giving him attention, playing with him, teaching him
and attending to his needs in a way I would have struggled with had I not returned to work. He is learning so much and his social skills are already apparent. I would highly recommend this nursery.

The team are very supportive. We found the nursery nurse in Peter Rabbits was amazing, fun and caring. My daughter enjoyed the music class and surprised us with her knowledge of instruments.

All the staff have been excellent with my kids. They have learnt so much being at this nursery thanks to all the staff that work there. I am very happy with how my son has progressed in the last 14 months of being at Children 1st. His speech is fantastic and is now fully toilet trained in the day and night and I feel this is due to the support of the nursery.

My daughter loves coming to this nursery she made so many friends, no longer the shy, timid girl she started to be around other children before coming here.
I'm so impressed with how much talking she can do, I used to worry as my girl just wouldn't talk but now we have proper conversations. I believe
this is down to the nursery. She learnt colours, numbers, shapes. The staff are amazing so much care and attention even though there are a few children.

Placing my two-year-old into Children 1st was the best thing my partner and I did. My little girl has come so far in the last year. She was at a childminders but was not gaining much. Our son is thriving at nursery.
He's fed so well and we feel completely secure in his safety and comfort while he is there.
He clearly loves the staff and it's so clear that he enjoys every day.
The activities he gets to do at just 8 months old are fantastic and he's developing really well - we see
changes in him every day.
We'd just like to say thank you to all the staff for putting us at ease and for being so great with our baby.

The nursery staff have been amazingly supportive with potty training.
Lots of advice given.
My son has really enjoyed joining this nursery.

Love all the guys that work at the nursery, they are all so friendly and it's so easy to build a friendship with them.
My daughter has been here since she was just over 1 and has been under several of the ladies as key workers and they have all been amazing with her.
I could not recommend this nursery
