Since my son has started nursery he's settled so well which is a massive relief as this was a worry for us as parent's when first starting that he would be very emotional. The staff have been amazing, comforting him when needed and always greet us with a big smile and lots of enthusiasm. Our son
loves going to nursery now and it's so lovely to see all the pictures they post of him having lots of fun. We're very happy with the choice we made in sending him to this nursery.

I highly recommend this nursery and would not want my children to go anywhere else, I have know this nursery and the staff for a few years as my children have joined and left and they have always been really friendly and helpful and do an amazing job at looking after the children in their care. My
children love(d) going to nursery and thrive(d) there. The staff are calm, nurturing and professional and they always fill the days with fun activities with outside play if possible as well as lots of different play areas and lots of activities to do. The food they provide is nutritious and varied and my children have always enjoyed them as well as their snacks through the day.
Overall 5* rating as I can't find anything negative from my experience. It's nice to know my children enjoy their time at nursery and have such lovely staff around them.

We couldn't be more grateful for this nursery. From the very first day, we felt that our child was truly welcomed, loved, and cared for. As a parent, leaving your child in someone else's care is never easy, but the amazing staff here made that transition so much smoother.
The teachers are not only
professional, but incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. They genuinely care about every child, and it shows in the way they interact, teach, and support them every single day. My child has grown so much in confidence, independence, and happiness since starting here.
It means everything to us to see our child excited to go in every morning and coming home with a big smile, full of stories about their day. The environment is warm, safe, and nurturing - it truly feels like a second home.
Thank you for your dedication, your love, and the beautiful impact you have on our child's life. We are so lucky to have found you.

This isn't an amazing nursery! All the staff are amazing and my daughter absolutely loves this nursery. Shes always excited to go and they do so much with her and she has developed so much in just under a year with them! Highly recommend

Best nursery around I have used this nursery for all my children as I wouldn't want to use anywhere else. Everyone that works there are amazing I trust all the staff whole heartedly their support has been brilliant over the years. Each room is decorated beautifully and my children have loved going

This nursery is amazing! My son's previous nursery closed and I was worried about him joining a new one, but I shouldn't have worried. The girls in the baby room are amazing with him and since joining he has come on so much. They are always welcoming and provide us with an update on the app
throughout the day. For anyone considering a nursery then I wouldn't recommend anywhere else. Special thank you to everyone in the baby room for going above and beyond. We can't thank you enough.

Such a lovely team of people! They care so much about my son, it makes me feel at ease leaving him somewhere I know he's well looked after.
He's come along so far since he started it 2025 and it's been so helpful being able to see what he's eating during the day - there are always meals we've never
thought of at home that he's enjoying at nursery!
I'd recommend Children 1st Main Street to anyone looking for a nursery.

My son (nearly 4) only started in January 2026 due to his old nursery closing.
He has come on leaps and bounds since being at Children's 1st and they have all been so welcoming and patient when he has come in upset as I think he did find it strange to start with.
He loves it now and has made lots
of new friends and loves everyone who works there.

My son has been attending for about 5 months now & I am very happy I chose this nursery. The staff are amazing, friendly & caring. I've seen a massive leap with my sons social & emotional development. I can see how happy he is playing & talking to staff. He was really shy and now he is so confident
around new adults. I think thats because of the relationships he has built with the staff. The rooms are very clean & well equiped with lovely wooden toys. I am confident my son is looked after, happy & growing here!

Our child started nursery back in Feb 2025, since then he has come on leaps and bounds developmentally and has really taken to all staff members. He's so happy to attend each day and every time I pick him up I know by the look of his face how much he has enjoyed it. More observations would be great!

The nursery is second to none, the staff are amazing. The whole concept of a scary experience as new mum, leaving my child was such a breeze for her settling in. The staff are calming can show care and assistance with any worries you may have.

My little one has been going to this nursery for over a year and I couldn't recommend enough. The nursery itself is lovely, especially since the re-fit. The staff, especially in the early years have made our journey so much easier. The care they show and effort with the children is amazing. The
effort and time that's recently gone into the Christmas activities especially the nativity has certainly been recognised. Thank you all at Children 1st @ Main street for everything you have done to support my little one.

I feel all the staff take a firm interest in our daughters development, we feel she has progressed really well. Really like the updates, gives peace of mind and do not feel the need to ask lots of questions.

I've been so happy to see how my daughter is settling here, she seems alot more comfortable than her previous nursery. I think it helps how lovely all the staff are and the upgraded play areas. I can't wait to see how she progresses here. Thankyou for everything so far! 100% recommend this nursery

We have been sending our little boy since beginning of September. As our first baby, our 'miracle' baby, we were very hesitant about sending him to a nursery however we must return to work at some point! From the first ever look around the nursery, we felt as though this is the one for us! We viewed
a few and they did not come close to Children 1st at Main Street. The care our boy has been given has been nothing but outstanding!
Although we get crocodile tears when we leave him the staff are so friendly it is very comforting to know they genuinely care about the children.
Every member of staff we have come across are very friendly and welcoming! The manager is always on site and very approachable. Communications have been fantastic!
I would highly recommend this nursery!

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough having used this nursery for 4 children over 13 years. I feel confident that my children are cared for safely and that they are nurtured in the best way for them. All staff have been friendly and welcoming and always helped to offer reassurance when
needed. I have found the communication to be clear and all issues quickly resolved eg. needing to change nursery days or times. My children have always been supported to reach the best of their ability and their interests supported. The activities and routines are engaging and developmentally appropriate.
The new refurbishment brings the nursery up to date and creates the ideal environment for children to play in a safe and stimulating way. Further to this the large garden offers them the perfect opportunity to explore and build their gross motor skills.
I can’t thank the staff enough for always being so attentive to my and my children’s needs. Outstanding.

We've been absolutely thrilled with our experience at the Childrens 1st Main Street Nursery so far. The staff did their absolute best to welcome our daughter into the group, reassuring us daily and giving daily updates on her progress. She has settled in quickly and now eagerly looks forward to
seeing her friends and teachers every morning. We've found everyone to be incredibly welcoming, paying close attention to detail and offering great support. The managers have been exceptionally accommodating, seamlessly adjusting to our changing schedule multiple times. We're impressed with the healthy meals and snacks provided. Our daughter has also learned a wealth of new skills during her time at the nursery. The teachers are warm and caring, friendly and just lovely people! Even amidst ongoing building refurbishments, the nursery has managed to maintain its charm, seamlessly integrating the renovations without disrupting daily activities, which speaks volumes about its management skills.

My one year old started at Main Street Children 1st in January. We were very pleased with the information and settling in sessions provided prior to the start date. All the staff are lovely. My son has settled happily and we are pleased he eats and naps well on the days he is at nursery. I like the
book used for communication between staff and parents, as I personally prefer a book to having to log in to an app. Overall very pleased with our choice of nursery.

My daughter has only recently started at this nursery and I have nothing but positives. The staff are friendly and welcoming and easy to talk to. Their handovers and updates in the nursery diaries and on the parent admin app are always thoughtfully written. My daughter is so happy there and just
runs in without a look back. They always do activities with them and I definitely think my daughter has developed since starting here.
