Children 1st Main Street Nursery School is located in Long Eaton, close to the town centre and local bus routes and provides childcare for children aged from birth to five years.

The nursery has bright, open learning areas for babies, toddlers and pre-school children and also provides after-school care for children aged between five and twelve years.

The outdoor area features a spacious garden designed to maximise the potential for outdoor play and children are encouraged to choose their own activity with a huge variety of options both inside and out.

The friendly, enthusiastic staff are all fully trained and experienced to support each child's holistic development. Each child receives the maximum care and support with high staff to child ratios.

The nursery offers funded places for eligible 2, 3 and 4-year-olds.

My son started nursery January 2020 and absolutely loves it! The staff have been brilliant at helping him settle in and can already see how he is developing. As a first-time parent, we were slightly worried about leaving our son, but the staff were so amazing on his induction and have completely reassured
us. We can't recommend the nursery enough.

My son and daughter both attend this nursery setting and absolutely love it. The staff are all extremely welcoming and friendly and can't do enough for you or your child. My son has been with the nursery since he was 10 months old and has grown to love all the staff and the children. My daughter attended
the after school club and also loves attending. I can't think of anything I would say they need to do to improve. They have great communication with parents and on the odd times I have needed my son to attend an extra day, they have always tried their best to accommodate this. Well done Children's 1st @ Main Street.

Cannot speak highly enough of all the teachers at Children 1st. Everyone is so helpful and lovely. Both of my children love coming to nursery. Fantastic new outdoor facilities - great fun.

My granddaughter attends Children 1st Nursery and loves it.
When I go to pick her up the staff give lovely feedback and always tell me about her day.
All the staff seem to care about the children and she comes home having learnt so many new things. The food always smells amazing and she has always
eaten really well at nursery.
Nothing is ever to much trouble for the staff, they are always happy to help
I would definitely recommend if you are looking for a nursery in Long Eaton.

An excellent nursery. The staff are friendly and I'm always happy knowing that my daughter is well taken care of while she's here. My daughter enjoys being here too. She is learning French here and also takes part in fancy feet which she loves. The meals are good, the resources are too. And I know my
daughter is always safe here. All in all a 10 out of 10.

Fab nursery. Son has been developing really well since starting here. He loves coming and has formed some really good relationships with staff. Staff are great at answering any questions and listening to any concerns. Always a clean and friendly environment.

My daughter who is now 8 years old attended here for 2 years (3-4 years). She absolutely loved it, the staff are very welcoming to all the children and do their best to create a homely feel throughout the nursery. Now my 4-year-old son attends every morning and loves it too. Would 100% recommend for
anyone needing child care in Long Eaton.

My son has been going to Main Street now for 2 years and really enjoys it. All the staff approachable and friendly and are easy to speak to you have any problems or concerns. I would definitely recommend to other family members and friends and I would use them again if I had any more children.

The twins love all of the activities and the staff, they have come on so much in the time that they have been here, both socially and developmentally. They love the meals and are always very well fed. Everything's run really well and the nursery communication is second to none.

My daughter first started at Children 1st Main Street in May and her personality has really shone. She is growing in confidence all the time and it really is down to the staff and her environment. The staff cannot do enough to help her and I cannot thank everyone enough.

A lovely, welcoming nursery who provides a homely environment, encouraging children to be confident, polite and well mannered. Every day the children return with stones or newly learnt skills and words. Nursery staff have an excellent bond with each and every child and they make time for each child's
