Nene Valley Day Nursery (Northampton)

Sending a six-month-old to a daycare nursery is a parent's biggest worry, but having my son registered at Nene Valley Day Nursery was the best decision. The staff made all possible efforts to get him adjusted to the new environment and help him settle. He is very well looked after. He has flourished in terms of learning and development. One member of staff has been his primary carer, and I must say my son loves her absolutely. She focuses on his day-to-day development and learning and coordinates with us on areas of development. The entire staff are excellent and goes beyond and above to make this place a second home for all children.

My daughter loves coming to the nursery. She enjoys the atmosphere here. She is engaged in activities, which introduced her to making skills and overall well-being. I am happy that we took the decision to send her to Nene Valley Day Nursery.

Our daughter started in the caterpillar's room and has just moved up to the ladybird's room. She loves coming to nursery and gets very excited to see all the staff. We have been very pleased with her development since she started nursery. They provide a variety of activities that help her learn and keep her interested. We have also been happy with the variety and good nutrition of the food provided.

Brilliant nursery. Staff are all really helpful and kind. Both of our children have loved attending for the last five and a half years. Recommend to anyone.

I couldn't have asked for a better nursery to send my son to. He has been here since he was one years old, and now he's about to leave for school! Every single person at Nene Valley has always gone above and beyond to ensure my son is firstly having as much fun as possible and mainly developing well in all areas. I am sad that he will be leaving such a wonderful and caring setting, but I know his many hears here have helped shaped him into the cleave beautiful boy he is!

Excellent nursery. Our daughter has settled in well and loves her time here. They have accommodated her needs well and communicate with us all the time about her development.

My daughter has been going to Nene Valley for two years. The staff all know her by name and are extremely friendly. She loves the nursery and has made great friends here. Was highly recommended by a friends and am so impressed my son is starting soon.

Both of my boys have attended nursery at Nene Valley since being small. The youngest unexpectedly was diagnosed with some health issues just after starting nursery, but the staff at Nene Valley have been very willing to learn about his health needs and very flexible with providing care for him. They have always shown an interest in how he is doing medically, which is nice. They are also very receptive to both my boys learning needs and really provide an educational environment tailored to them, allowing them to flourish.

My little one absolutely loves coming to the nursery. She settled in earlier than we expected and is doing well. The practitioners are very helpful and update daily progress and overall development.

When my first son started nursery, I was worried as he was never a "level back" baby who often struggled with sleep and separation from me. I needn't have worried! Our experience at Nene Valley has been wonderful, and we will miss everyone as he moves on to school as a confident little boy. My second son has recently started in the baby room, and it has been another great experience. Thank you all.

Love the nursery. My daughter has been attending here for just over a year and developed fantastically. Nothing is too much to ask, and her key person is absolutely amazing. Perfect choice and I feel very connected with what the little one is doing through the day.

Our little boy has now been here 3.5 years, and we couldn't speak more highly of the nursery. The care, focus and dedication to our little boy and his additional needs are exceptional. They work with us, support us and adapt to the changing physio, speech and partage objectives swiftly and professionally. Our little boy talks about the nursery, his key workers and children so fondly and is always excited to be here.

My experience with the nursery so far has been a positive one. I have felt that my child's learning and development are taken seriously, and I loved the frequent updates. It has been great knowing my child is in a safe and enjoyable environment where she is able to thrive. Her sibling will most definitely be coming here too.

Our son enjoys the outdoor area immensely, especially the outdoor kitchen and balance bikes. He has bonded well with new friends and always leaves full of beans and excitedly tells us about his day.

When my child started, she was shy and apprehensive, but the staff were quick and enthusiastic when welcoming her, and she was quick to feel confident. They supported her and introduced her to new friends. The setting is always very welcoming, and she really appreciates all the fantastic resources.

I'm really happy with the care my daughter is receiving. She is very happy when I drop her off and pick her up. Every member of staff is extremely friendly and treats every child individually. I can't fault the place.

Since starting nursery, we have noticed our child has increased in his confidence, his vocabulary and his independence. He has developed a lovely relationship with his key worker, which has helped him settle. All the staff are very welcoming and professional. Thank you to the manager and the team.

The caterpillar room is very inviting. The room rotates its toys and sensory every couple of months, keeping it interesting for the babies. Staff are very friendly/helpful and cater well for food allergies - great menus.

Our little boy started in January after being at home with his mum for 11 months with no baby groups or any socialising around apart from who he already knew. Initially, we were worried about how he would cope being around so many other children, adapting to his routine of going to nursery. Looking back now we had nothing to worry about, our boy has settled so well every picture we see he's happy, clean and learning new things every day. The staff are great! They are accommodating to every need, understanding and so welcoming every morning. They love him like we do its that for us that counts. We feel when we drop him off he's safe, and happy there's nothing more we could ask for.
