Woodville Nursery & Preschool

They have been absolutely brilliant with my daughter, she was so used to being with me iI was worried about the stress that going to nursery would cause her but she loves the staff. She cant wait to tell them about everything that happens. My job also means I sometimes have to swap days and the management are brilliant about it and are always willing to accommodate. Thank you for getting my baby ready for school.

Woodville Day Nursery is such a friendly and professional nursery. Both of my children have been here and I couldn't have asked for a better place for them to go. Children are really well taken care of and love attending. The food is really lovely and staff teach their children good table manners and healthy eating habits. I could not recommend it more highly.

I was very anxious about my daughter going to a childcare setting. I did lots of research and looked around many in the local area but Woodville Day Nursery was by far the best. From the minute myself and my daughter entered the building we were made to feel like we’d been there for years. The separation from my daughter was hard for me and the staff worked hard to make the settling in time so unique to our needs. The environment and the teaching and learning that takes place is amazing with staff that really are passionate about what they offer the children. I loved how the nursery got parents involved in events and encouraged parents to spend time in the nursery. Although I was so anxious about leaving my daughter I made the best decision as she is now so confident in social situations and her development and independence have grown since being at the nursery. I would highly recommend the nursery to anyone looking for a professional, caring and stimulating place for their child.

My daughter, who is now 7, attended the nursery and my 2 year old son currently attends. I have only positive comments about the nursery, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and my children have always formed a lovely bond with many of the staff members. The nursery is always well maintained and clean. The food is always varied, tasty and nutritious. Most of all my son loves to go and gets excited when it is a nursery day which says it all! The nursery was recommended to me and I would highly recommend it to others. I will be sad when my little boy leaves when it is time for school.

My son had rarely left my side in 2 years, as my husband travels with work. I was very anxious about him starting nursery for a couple of mornings a week and as you can imagine it has been extremely hard on us both. Right from our first contact with the nursery, I have found every part and every person to be welcoming, professional and caring. The settling in process has been hard and long but the nursery has worked with me and my son to make this work, going the extra mile for us both. They have shown they understand my anxiety and concerns and have been very accommodating. I can see my son enjoys his time there and he developed a good bond with the team in his room quickly as they all have helped him to settle. I highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter has been with Woodville Day Nursery over a year now she is 4 years old and her key workers are brilliant. My daughter is very chatty and full of fun and mischief and sufferers from mostly nocturnal seizures so can be sleepy or absent at times and a little difficult and sometimes plays the odd prank too. But they handle her so well they have taken time to get to know her and she genuinely loves coming here where she learns relevant and educational preschool activities in a well organised played out way. I find all of the staff friendly and helpful.

My son has attended this nursery from 6 months old. I can't praise the staff enough - they can't do enough for your child and are so encouraging of their progress. As a teacher, I also really appreciate the detailed reports and regular feedback on next steps in learning. My little boy loves going to nursery and I know that he has strong bonds with the staff. I would definitely recommend.

The nursery and the staff are excellent. My daughter has developed beautifully since going here, they provide so many opportunities for the children, e.g. forest school, PE, homework and different activities throughout the year. My daughter loves going and is excited to go every day.

Since joining the nursery, my son has developed in so many ways. He has become confident and looks forward to going into nursery every day. He has developed positive relationships with all the staff members throughout the nursery.

My son enjoys going to nursery. He has lots of fun, enjoys the food, and I can see signs of development.

My daughter is 2yrs old with Down Syndrome and has been at the nursery since she was 8 months. They have been more than accommodating and supportive of both my daughters needs and ours as parents. Without their support my daughter would not have hit as many milestones as quickly as she has. All the staff there are wonderful and take the time to get to know you and your child to provide the right care you want.

I would recommend this day nursery to anyone that is looking for high quality childcare. My daughter loved attending nursery and still talks about what she did at nursery. The staff are amazing and nothing was ever to much trouble.

Both of my children have attended the nursery over the last four years and I can honestly say there is no negative word to say. They are outstanding at everything they do. Both children have gained not only confidence but have both developed in all aspects. Would recommend anyone to bring their children here.

My little boy went to this nursery from age one and has recently started school. The nursery has helped to prepare him socially, emotionally and academically for the transition and he is thriving. Now my little girl goes to the nursery. The staff genuinely care for the children and get to know them. The children are fond of all the staff and the activities are engaging and appropriate in each room for the age of the children. My little girl loves going to nursery. As a parent, the staff, right up to the management team, give you the reassurance needed to enable you to be confident and happy for your child/children to be in their care.

My son has attended this nursery since he was one. All of the staff are professional and I have always felt confident in their capabilities of looking after my son.
