Child 1st Solihull is a purpose built nursery that boasts a whole range of child friendly features; from under floor heating to the windows which go from floor to ceiling, from well-lit modern rooms, to there being no stairs and lots of changing and toilet areas.

The challenge was to ensure that the outdoors reflected the indoors and both are well resourced and run, with a team that really has developed an understanding of the needs of young children and aims to involve them at every level.

With access to the outdoors from every room and increasingly developing age appropriate environments both indoors and out makes Child 1st ideal for providing care and learning in an urban area.

The staff are very friendly and supportive. The outdoor play area is lovely. My daughter has been very happy at the nursery. She enjoys the activities and has been very comfortable with her key worker.

My son started at Child First (Solihull) in April 2021 and has flourished in such a short amount of time. The staff are incredible. Always helpful and ready to put concerns and nervousness as a first time mom at ease. I would highly recommend Child First (Solihull) to anyone. They're brilliant with
my son who before starting at Child First (Solihull) had no experience of being around a large group of other children.

A fantastic nursery that I cannot fault. My little boy loves nursery, he goes in and comes home very happy. The staff are fantastic and he has clearly formed bonds with them. I feel happy going to work knowing that my boy is happy and very well looked after. The app is always updated with comments and
pictures so I can see what he is up to during the day. It is clear to see how he is quickly developing in all areas. Thank you for all that you do for my son.

I cannot recommend this nursery highly enough, my two year old has been attending since September and I can’t fault them at all. He goes in happy, comes home happy and has formed a lovely relationship with his key worker, as have I. All of the staff are great, really approachable, nothing is too much
trouble and I fully trust that I am leaving him in the best hands. The activities they do with the children are wonderful, he has so much fun in a comfortable, safe environment and I couldn’t ask for more!

What a lovely nursery, my little one has been going for a matter of months and she has settled in so well and grown very attached to her key worker who is amazing. After a previous bad experience, I feel happy now that my daughter is there and doing really well. Thank you Child 1st.

My little girl has been here since she was eight months and absolutely loves it here. She has always built a brilliant relationship with each of her key workers and it shows whenever she gets dropped off and picked up. She has learnt so much already. I couldn’t think of a better nursery.

This is a lovely, friendly, happy nursery. My son loved all the activities he got to do every day, he enjoyed the brilliant outdoor area and all the fun on forest Fridays. All of the staff were caring and friendly.

Both of our children have attended Child 1st, our first daughter from two years old and our second from 11 months! Our youngest has just left and we are so sad to have left.
Lovely nursery with a lovely group of staff, in every room from the baby room right up to pre-school 2, they have taken such
good care of our girls and will be greatly missed.
You are kept up to date with everything, via phone and the app. The nursery is spotless and the girls always came out spotless too.
They do lovely activities with all holidays and events such as Christmas, etc.
Can't thank you all enough!

This nursery is absolutely fantastic. My daughter still gets excited when it’s time to go to nursery. She has built wonderful relationships with the staff and other children. The staff keep me updated regularly with her progress and next steps.
As a key worker, the nursery did everything they could
to keep us updated on changes and the new procedures during lockdown which have worked really well.
We have always felt very welcome and everybody is willing to help.

Great place with great staff, my two year old son was attending two days a week. He enjoyed it a lot although he didn’t speak English yet. He’s brought so many artworks, which was lovely and showed how much they do with the children. I recommend that place in 100%.

This is a nursery I have recommended to people. With everything going on being a key worker they offer my daughter a little bit of normal.
She was shy when she first arrived but thanks to the staff she's now a social butterfly. Can't thank them enough for everything they have done over the last 12
months. Just really glad to have such amazing people looking out for my daughter.

Absolute amazing nursery overall!
My daughter has attended Child 1st for the last 1.5 years and I have not one bad comment to say regarding the staff or nursery itself.

My son absolutely loves this nursery. He can be very picky with his food and he seems to love all the food at the nursery. He plays and learns very well with his teachers and his class friends. I've never had a problem since he very first attended the nursery. The teachers are all lovely and very caring.
I'd recommend anyone to go with them.

My daughter has attended Childs1st since she was 15-months-old, for 2 days a week. She has excelled in many aspects of her development and the staff who have cared for my daughter have given her the right level of attention, time and patience to do so. She has fun active days, yoga, singing sessions,
reading, crafts, playing outside etc. I am thankful that my daughter is an excellent eater and not fussy, but even if she was fussy she is offered an array of food throughout her day and alternatives to her lunch/tea.
She has formed close bonds with her key workers when transitioning into the older classes I was worried that she may be too attached to her key worker (at the time). But her ability to form friendships with the other staff members was comforting and demonstrates that she was made to feel comfortable and cared for.
She is a very happy toddler, and looks forward to pre-school.

Excellent nursery, both of our sons love going, the staff are fantastic and I feel comfortable when I leave the boys with them for the day. They offer a wide variety of activities daily and it is a great learning environment for all ages. They offer fantastic settling in sessions for extended periods
of time tailored to your child’s needs which really helped my sons to settle well.

Both of my kids attend nursery and it's all we ever wanted. The staff are very friendly and my kids really love every one of them. The activities are very diverse, I honestly see the results at home. I never imagined that my kids will love it so much there, even my little one who is very picky at liking
new people. I usually find him in the arms of one of the girls and giving them cuddles and kisses. My daughter always mentions the staff and that she had fun, every single day.

Child 1st is an absolutely amazing nursery. All three of my children have attended so far and I will have my fourth's name down as of September. The garden is my absolute favourite, my daughter gets so much out of it and forest school is a bonus. Staff are all lovely and caring and there is always something
for the children to do! In the past, there has always been something about nurseries that makes me feel dissatisfied but this just isn't the case with Child 1st. My daughter wasn't easy to settle and there was always a member of staff on hand to comfort her! We love Child 1st.
