Child 1st (Solihull)

My baby has settled in perfectly at Child 1st (Solihull) Day Nursery. The staff are always friendly and approachable and have really helped with making us feel comfortable leaving her. I like how you can check the app daily to see how they are getting on and also send messages to staff. I would recommend the nursery.

My daughter started at Child 1st (Solihull) Day Nursery in February 2022, she has Erb's palsy and requires physio multiple times a day, the staff at the nursery were very supportive of this. Other specialists involved in her care have contacted the nursery for various reasons and they have always been happy to work with them. My daughter loves going to nursery, she is always excited when we get to the gate. Staff always keep the app up to date so I know what time little one sleeps, what she eats and nappy changes.

This is an amazing nursery. I was so worried about sending my daughter for the first time but the staff have been amazing and she has settled in so well. All the staff are so welcoming, friendly and supportive. I am able to be kept updated on what she is doing throughout the day with an app that shows me what she’s eaten, nappy changes and what activities she’s doing etc. She has come on so much since attending and I’m so pleased with the decision I made in sending her here. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

This is by far the best nursery in the area. My 5-year-old went here and now my 1 and a half years old is here, they helped so much with him as he was very upset every time we dropped him off. The baby team kept me updated throughout the day with messages, pictures or videos of him playing, which was a huge help for myself. Now my son goes in happy and loves to go to nursery. I am recording it to everyone and specially to anxious moms like me.

I can't recommend child enough thank you. We will miss Child1st when we go to school.

Top marks all around! There's nowhere else I would send my son now, he will be here until he starts school.

Amazing nursery. Really helpful with my son who has dietary issues. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Staff are lovely and my son has really took to them. The outside play area is very inviting to the children too.

Would one hundred and ten percent recommend to anyone.

Food is also healthy and the right amount for the children.

Both my children have attended this nursery and I honestly can't fault them, they are amazing and provide such care for the children as well as supporting their development. They always listen to any concerns you have about your children and are very supportive with transitions. The activities and outdoor area are great. My son will be sad to say goodbye when he starts reception this year. Best nursery by far!

He settled in well and absolutely loves going, always comes out with a smile on his face. Communication is great and staff are lovely and welcoming. They have always tried to accommodate my child when I’ve needed to send him in for extra sessions. Would 100% recommend!

My son has been here since July 2021, he loves being here and always walks in with a smile on his face. The staff are easy to approach about anything, I like it that I can see what my son has eaten on the app.

My daughter has attended Child 1st Day Nursery since July. She was really hard to settle due to being a lockdown baby. The girls in baby room have worked so hard with her and she now really enjoys nursery. She has come on so much since starting and I love how I am kept informed of how she is getting on through the app. I would highly recommend this nursery.

This nursery is brilliant, never had a problem here, my son absolutely loves it. He has become such a character since joining this nursery, he has made loads of new friends and likes the teachers too. I always thought my little boy was shy around people especially if they are new to him but he's not here. He has learnt so much and is always telling me new things he has learnt and about how much he enjoys nursery each day after finishing. I would highly recommend!

My son loves nursery, his key worker and other staff of the baby room. He has come on leaps and bounds since being at nursery and the work they do with him is amazing. He is always such a happy little boy when I pick him up and I’m so grateful for the support they also give me if I have any worries about his health etc. The observations are my favourite part as to see what he gets up to on a daily basis helps me in knowing he is happy while learning and playing with his friends and the staff. Would recommend.

Both my children have gone to Child 1st, my youngest is now in toddlers. My youngest can be hard work but the toddler team have helped him come on leaps and bounds in many ways. He always enjoys nursery and comes out with a smile on his face, thanks to the amazing staff there. Would highly recommend Child 1st Day Nursery to anyone who is thinking about taking their child there.

Both our children attended this nursery over the last 4 years and it has been outstanding. Very helpful and friendly staff, the children love it and get to experience so much in terms of fun, activities, learning and development. I would not hesitate in using in the future again, couldn't recommend them any higher. Outstanding.

My daughter started here in April and is 2. I was so nervous with sending her to a nursery as she has separation anxiety and always has to be by my side. Staff were so understanding with this. My daughter had many settling in sessions with many tears but the staff were amazing and continued to gain her trust. She now goes running in to her key worker sometimes forgetting to give Mommy a kiss goodbye. I'm updated every day with her progress and love hearing how she now plays with all the other little children and she always comes out with a smile. Would highly recommend.
