Child 1st Solihull is a purpose built nursery that boasts a whole range of child friendly features; from under floor heating to the windows which go from floor to ceiling, from well-lit modern rooms, to there being no stairs and lots of changing and toilet areas.

The challenge was to ensure that the outdoors reflected the indoors and both are well resourced and run, with a team that really has developed an understanding of the needs of young children and aims to involve them at every level.

With access to the outdoors from every room and increasingly developing age appropriate environments both indoors and out makes Child 1st ideal for providing care and learning in an urban area.

My daughter loves it at this nursery. She can't wait to go every morning if it's her day in she can't get dressed quick enough to go and play with her friends. The staff are amazing she loves them all! I'm so happy that she's happy going here to make new friends and there's no need to worry about her
as I know the staff look after her as if it was their daughter.
Thank you so much to all the staff in the toddler's room you are all truly amazing! Well done to you all for what you do day in day out! Xx

Wonderful nursery that both my 2 little ones enjoy attending.
Both have really progressed well and feel the nursery has really helped.
Both have become more independent and love all the activities that they do when there.

Our daughter has been at this nursery since she was 10 months old. She is now about to turn 3. She loves nursery and all the practitioners in her room. She has come on so much over the years and we know when we drop her off she will have so much fun. She always comes out happy and with bits to show
us which she has done throughout the day.

My son attends full time and loves it here. The family app is constantly updated with pictures and always shows that my son has eaten, nappy changes and nap times.
Great nursery with really good staff and fantastic facilities.

My son has been at the nursery for nearly 2 years and he is really thriving. The staff have been incredible all throughout my son's journey from babies to toddlers, he has made some amazing bonds with both the staff and his friends there. Amazing staff who are so good with the kids. My daughter has been there since toddlers and will be leaving soon for school, she has loved every minute and always asks if it's a pre school day. My son will be starting soon and I would highly recommend it to every parent.

My child loves coming to nursery. She has made lots of friends and is such a confident little girl. As an only child, Child 1st has given her an opportunity to socialise with others and meet children her age. She loves all the activities and walks out with a beaming smile on her face. There is a huge
garden with a forest school and plenty of toys for children to play with. They do some lovely themed days - secular and religious events linking to the wider world and it is great to see what they have been up to via the app they use.

Child 1st (Solihull) goes more than above and beyond for my son.
Feedback about my son's well-being is provided in real-time through the app - which allows me to see how he is doing throughout the day.
All of the staff are professional, yet warm and welcoming.
I would recommend Child 1st to any
of my friends or family if they were looking for childcare for their child.

I was so worried about sending my son to nursery but it honestly has been such a great experience. Toddlers staff made this experience easier, my son now just runs into nursery. The SENCO coordinator was amazing and helpful with me filling in my form for speech and language referral for my son. The
staff in toddlers are wonderful, the communication between them and me is always great, which if you are a nervous parent this puts you at ease. Overall, just a lovely nursery.

My baby has settled in perfectly at Child 1st (Solihull) Day Nursery. The staff are always friendly and approachable and have really helped with making us feel comfortable leaving her. I like how you can check the app daily to see how they are getting on and also send messages to staff. I would recommend
the nursery.

My daughter started at Child 1st (Solihull) Day Nursery in February 2022, she has Erb's palsy and requires physio multiple times a day, the staff at the nursery were very supportive of this. Other specialists involved in her care have contacted the nursery for various reasons and they have always been
happy to work with them. My daughter loves going to nursery, she is always excited when we get to the gate. Staff always keep the app up to date so I know what time little one sleeps, what she eats and nappy changes.

This is an amazing nursery. I was so worried about sending my daughter for the first time but the staff have been amazing and she has settled in so well. All the staff are so welcoming, friendly and supportive. I am able to be kept updated on what she is doing throughout the day with an app that shows
me what she’s eaten, nappy changes and what activities she’s doing etc. She has come on so much since attending and I’m so pleased with the decision I made in sending her here. I cannot recommend this nursery enough!

This is by far the best nursery in the area. My 5-year-old went here and now my 1 and a half years old is here, they helped so much with him as he was very upset every time we dropped him off. The baby team kept me updated throughout the day with messages, pictures or videos of him playing, which was
a huge help for myself. Now my son goes in happy and loves to go to nursery. I am recording it to everyone and specially to anxious moms like me.

Amazing staff, and my daughter feels so much at home there.
The transitions between rooms and in my case from a not so great to nursery as well.
I can't recommend child enough thank you. We will miss Child1st when we go to school.

Cannot praise the staff at this nursery! They're all really lovely and great at looking after the children in their care. My son started in September last year and has loved it from the moment he stepped through the door! He's coming along great and I honestly believe it's a lot to do with the standard
that this nursery works at. It's so good that my sister enrolled my nephew too!
Top marks all around! There's nowhere else I would send my son now, he will be here until he starts school.

Amazing nursery. Really helpful with my son who has dietary issues. Couldn’t ask for anything more. Staff are lovely and my son has really took to them. The outside play area is very inviting to the children too.

Amazing and friendly staff, a great nursery with great communication and development. You can clearly see they support development from a young age. Our girls loves each day, they always have new activities. Fantastic indoor and outdoor space.

Fantastic nursery and even more fab staff. Worked so well with settling my little one in and it wasn’t rushed, always comes home in an empty nappy and has a smile on her face. She sings songs at home that she’s learned at nursery and I also love receiving the updates over the app. I feel good leaving
my daughter here and know she’s taken care of.
It is definitely a home away from home nursery, also all the lovely little events and stuff the nursery does is amazing, only been here for over a month and had a few things already for Easter, Jubilee and Father’s Day which is lovely
I’d also rate 5000 stars for the cost, £5.00 per day for nappies, wipes, creams, snacks and food is amazing, also I feel comfortable and confident knowing my daughter's allergies are well taken care of with her having not a single flare-up!
Food is also healthy and the right amount for the children.
