Child 1st (Solihull)

My daughter has been at Child 1st (Solihull) for over a year and honestly I’m so happy with the nursery, I don’t have any family local to me and going back from maternity leave I searched and searched for a nursery to give me that ‘feeling’ and as soon as I stepped into the door of Child 1st I got that feeling and knew that was where I wanted my daughter to go. The staff are amazing, my daughter has been in two rooms now and is currently in tots but the staff in both rooms have been wonderful and I feel so lucky that my daughter has them while I’m at work. I dread to think of her leaving there one day, 1000% recommend.

Our Daughter is in Toddler Room and has been in there since she started last year. She absolutely loves it and has made amazing relationships with all the staff. The staff are amazing. Our daughter has come on leaps and bounds since starting here and it's all down to the staff, her confidence has grown, her talking, counting, just everything. They do so much with the children and she is always learning new things. Just want to say thank you so much toddler room and all the staff at Child 1st, so glad we picked this nursery for our daughter.

Our daughter absolutely loves it here, she is currently in toddlers and has learnt so much since she started there almost a year ago. The staff in toddlers are amazing with our daughter as she always comes out smiling and talks highly of them and how much fun she has had. I have no concerns whatsoever when our daughter is in their care. Keep up the great work everyone and thank you.

Tots room have been amazing with my son! He loves to go to nursery and has come on leaps and bounds since starting. The best! They always update me on the app and if I have anything to ask throughout the day they reply straight away.

My child is currently in tots one, the staff are brilliant in there and have made his time very special. His key person is brilliant and goes above and beyond to ease my mind whilst ensuring he is having fun and learning at nursery. Thank you for all the hard work you put into looking after our little ones from management to kitchen staff to nursery practitioner, you are all brilliant!

My daughter's time at Child 1st is coming to an end and what a time she has had. In the years she has been attending this nursery she has never left at the end of a day with anything but a smile on her face. She has learnt so much, made great memories along with some friends she will never forget (staff included). The nursery itself (building) is full of so many activities and fun things for the children to do in every room (and there are lots of them). It is clear that this nursery spares no expense. Even when there isn't (during COVID) the staff keep parents up to date with the family app. I would like to say a massive thanks to all the staff (practitioners, kitchen staff and management) as they have all been so welcoming and friendly throughout our time making not only my daughter but myself also feel part of a family. Could not recommend enough!

My daughter is part of the toddlers group and she has very strong relationships with all the staff. She really does enjoy going into nursery! I’m always given an overview of her progress and love seeing pictures of her playing outdoors with her friends.

My son's been here for a year and a half after a bad experience with another nursery and he’s come along so well and loves it here. Never had any issues and the staff are all amazing and happy to help. My son loves going every day and will be sad to leave for school nursery.

My child started here in January and having only been with family previously she took a while to settle in but the room staff supported her and made her feel comfortable quickly. As my child has additional needs they are very welcoming and support her and allow other teams to come in and work with them to help my child. The outdoors at the nursery do wonders for my child who loves being outside and to be able to explore.

I think Child 1st is a brilliant nursery. My child is happy and supported by the nursery, they keep you updated with everything your child does through the day which helps ease your mind. My child has special educational needs and the nursery have been excellent in supporting him and trying to further his development. The help they have given me with referrals has been amazing. They have gone above and beyond and I couldn’t thank them enough.

The staff are really lovely as well and they make you feel very welcome.

Thanks all in the baby and toddler rooms

Our daughter has been at this nursery since she was 10 months old. She is now about to turn 3. She loves nursery and all the practitioners in her room. She has come on so much over the years and we know when we drop her off she will have so much fun. She always comes out happy and with bits to show us which she has done throughout the day.

Great nursery with really good staff and fantastic facilities.

My son has been at the nursery for nearly 2 years and he is really thriving. The staff have been incredible all throughout my son's journey from babies to toddlers, he has made some amazing bonds with both the staff and his friends there. I feel so secure that he is getting the best start in life whilst he is at nursery.

My child loves coming to nursery. She has made lots of friends and is such a confident little girl. As an only child, Child 1st has given her an opportunity to socialise with others and meet children her age. She loves all the activities and walks out with a beaming smile on her face. There is a huge garden with a forest school and plenty of toys for children to play with. They do some lovely themed days - secular and religious events linking to the wider world and it is great to see what they have been up to via the app they use.

Child 1st has really worked well for my daughter. She absolutely loves going there. The staff are all so friendly and really make it feel like a home away from home. She has come on leaps in her development and socially also. I’m so glad we chose this nursery.
