Child 1st (Solihull)

Classrooms, outdoor spaces and even the little toilets have been well thought out, a great setting for little minds to develop.

Both my children came to this nursery from another setting and both of them have flourished whilst being here. The outdoor facilities and the staff are brilliant with my children and I would recommend this nursery to anyone. They put the children first and let their learning be led by the children, which really appealed to me.

My little one has developed massively, social skills, behaviour and personality since being here. Knowing that there are healthy home cooked meals prepared on site each day and not having to worry about the little things like Sun cream, nappies, bottles etc really made a difference to us as full-time working parents. They really take care of everything! I recommend the nursery to all parents looking at their childcare options.

Both of my children have attended Child 1st. I have always found all of the staff to be very approachable and accommodating. We have always had regular feedback. The nursery offers a wide range of activities and has great facilities. The food is great! Both of my children have really thrived at Child 1st and would highly recommend the nursery.

Staff are understanding and approachable. My child was made to feel comfortable almost instantly. They are more than happy to help in any way if you have any worries. Couldn't recommend enough.

My son started at this nursery when he was nearly 8 months old. The transition sessions were excellent and all times I felt very confident with the staff. My son stayed in the baby room until he was around 15 months. The staff are excellent, particularly. As young mothers themselves, I felt very reassured and trusted them completely.

My son is now in the toddler room with his new key worker. Again, excellent experience so far. I always leave my son feeling happy as he loves being there. I highly recommend this nursery as it clear the staff are very well trained and the management is excellent.

My son has been here since he was 9 months old and has flourished throughout the years learning so many new things and making new friends.

Both of my children have attended this nursery from the age of one until preschool. I have had a pleasant experience with Child 1st and both of my children have enjoyed their time here. They are both due to leave to start school and preschool. The staff have been friendly and the facilities at the nursery have been good especially the large garden at the back with lots for the children to do. I would say there is room for improvements just with communication however that being said I can’t fault Child 1st. The only thing that is frustrating is that you still have to pay when the nursery is closed and don’t bank the days so I have lost on a lot of days.

Child 1st is a lovely nursery and my daughter loves it here, she has developed so much. The staff are loving and friendly and it makes me feel at ease leaving her to go to work.

This nursery has a range of toys to stimulate and inspire all children. The kids are always engaging in creative activities in their open spaced rooms. I love the fact that the kids are able to move up in room based on development rather than it being based on age. The staff there are warming kind professionals that have a real passion for the welfare of each child. They are always within the ratio of adult to child to ensure the safety of the children which for them is paramount. I would love 100% recommend this nursery as it is the best nursery in Solihull with their reasonable fees and kind hearted staff.

This is a brilliant nursery, the staff are very friendly. Me and the mother get good feedback always ring if any concerns. Would recommend this nursery to anyone.

My daughter has attended this setting for almost 2 years and I am very happy about leaving her with the staff, all her needs are met when requested.

My little girl loves attending nursery. The staff are always friendly and approachable and genuinely care for all of the children in their care. The food is always fresh and my girl will have double helpings here, unlike at home! The outside area is much better than at other nurseries we viewed and is a big hit with my girl. There is a lot of creative play which she also loves, but I would like there to be more focus on writing etc ahead of starting school. All in all an excellent nursery that I am so glad we found. I couldn't wish for a safer, happier environment for my child and I will definitely be sending her brother here too!

The staff at the nursery are great and really friendly. They have really helped my children learn and develop in the year, or so that they have been going here. It did not take my children long to settle in and now look forward to going and seeing the girls. I am also confident that they are in great hands and I'm always informed of what they have done throughout the day.

Everyone at Child 1st (Solihull) is kind, knowledgable and extremely professional. Both of my children look forward to attending each day. I drop them off in the morning in the knowledge that they are cared for well and will have everything they need.

I only wanted my daughter to attend a nursery that I felt 100% comfortable as her nursery attendance isn't out of necessity. When visiting this nursery I was made to feel welcome and at complete ease. The staff are friendly and down to earth and have formed a lovely relationship with my daughter. I always recommend this nursery to other moms I know.

There is a separate dining room where the children eat some of their meals, which is great as it prepares them for primary school where they will have to eat in this type of environment, the meals are well balanced and if like my daughter there is something on the menu that your child cannot eat, they are more than happy to change it for them.

After visiting a number of nurseries we decided on Child First and are so glad we did! My little girl started at 10 months and she has been attending for a whole year now and her confidence around both adults and other children has grown so much as has her speech. The staff are so friendly and genuinely caring and welcoming and my daughter talks about the staff at home as she is excited when I mention the names which is so lovely and reassuring as I know that she is happy and content there. There are activities everyday and special activities throughout the year and the menus are varied and changed frequently. The rooms are always clean and are very child friendly with lots of colours and toys as well as access to outdoor space. I would recommend this nursery to anybody looking for childcare for even very young children, it is amazing how well and how quickly they adapt.

The variety in diet for the children seems well thought out and they adhere to all dietary requirements.

Brilliant nursery, kind and caring staff in every department, my little girl had 5 1/2 weeks out because she was very poorly, she had re settles before going back and it was like she never left, she loves each and every one of her teachers, and to watch her play, sing, communicate and cuddle, them was lovely to see. Wouldn't dream of sending her anywhere else, love all the events/days they plan for the children and parents to do as well.
