Child 1st Solihull is a purpose built nursery that boasts a whole range of child friendly features; from under floor heating to the windows which go from floor to ceiling, from well-lit modern rooms, to there being no stairs and lots of changing and toilet areas.

The challenge was to ensure that the outdoors reflected the indoors and both are well resourced and run, with a team that really has developed an understanding of the needs of young children and aims to involve them at every level.

With access to the outdoors from every room and increasingly developing age appropriate environments both indoors and out makes Child 1st ideal for providing care and learning in an urban area.

This nursery has a range of toys to stimulate and inspire all children. The kids are always engaging in creative activities in their open spaced rooms. I love the fact that the kids are able to move up in room based on development rather than it being based on age. The staff there are warming kind professionals
that have a real passion for the welfare of each child. They are always within the ratio of adult to child to ensure the safety of the children which for them is paramount. I would love 100% recommend this nursery as it is the best nursery in Solihull with their reasonable fees and kind hearted staff.

My little girl loves attending nursery. The staff are always friendly and approachable and genuinely care for all of the children in their care. The food is always fresh and my girl will have double helpings here, unlike at home! The outside area is much better than at other nurseries we viewed and
is a big hit with my girl. There is a lot of creative play which she also loves, but I would like there to be more focus on writing etc ahead of starting school. All in all an excellent nursery that I am so glad we found. I couldn't wish for a safer, happier environment for my child and I will definitely be sending her brother here too!

The staff at the nursery are great and really friendly. They have really helped my children learn and develop in the year, or so that they have been going here. It did not take my children long to settle in and now look forward to going and seeing the girls. I am also confident that they are in great
hands and I'm always informed of what they have done throughout the day.

I only wanted my daughter to attend a nursery that I felt 100% comfortable as her nursery attendance isn't out of necessity. When visiting this nursery I was made to feel welcome and at complete ease. The staff are friendly and down to earth and have formed a lovely relationship with my daughter. I

My daughter has been attending this nursery for two years now and she absolutely loves it there, she looks forward to going every week, and is full of stories about all the exciting stuff she did whilst there, from Yoga to French!
The staff are welcoming and friendly, and if my little girl is feeling
a bit 'clingy' one morning they are there to offer a cuddle and reassurance to her. If I ever feel like I need to check in, they are always happy to give you an update and I instantly feel reassured and know that she is being well looked after.
There is a separate dining room where the children eat some of their meals, which is great as it prepares them for primary school where they will have to eat in this type of environment, the meals are well balanced and if like my daughter there is something on the menu that your child cannot eat, they are more than happy to change it for them.

After visiting a number of nurseries we decided on Child First and are so glad we did! My little girl started at 10 months and she has been attending for a whole year now and her confidence around both adults and other children has grown so much as has her speech. The staff are so friendly and genuinely
caring and welcoming and my daughter talks about the staff at home as she is excited when I mention the names which is so lovely and reassuring as I know that she is happy and content there. There are activities everyday and special activities throughout the year and the menus are varied and changed frequently. The rooms are always clean and are very child friendly with lots of colours and toys as well as access to outdoor space. I would recommend this nursery to anybody looking for childcare for even very young children, it is amazing how well and how quickly they adapt.

My daughter been going here for approximately 6 months and the change in her speech and development has been absolutely amazing. Staff and management are excellent at what they do and are very supportive of the child's and parent's needs.
The premises are always really clean and well maintained.

Brilliant nursery, kind and caring staff in every department, my little girl had 5 1/2 weeks out because she was very poorly, she had re settles before going back and it was like she never left, she loves each and every one of her teachers, and to watch her play, sing, communicate and cuddle, them was
lovely to see. Wouldn't dream of sending her anywhere else, love all the events/days they plan for the children and parents to do as well.

One of my main fears as a mommy is not being with my little boy 24 hours a day, Child 1st allows me to feel at ease knowing that he is safe and happy without me there. Staff and management are lovely and always there to offer support and advice. :)

Child 1st was always my first choice for nurseries for my little boy and he has attended since august 2015. The Nursery process is always a very important choice for you to make for your child, I feel as tho this one was the right choice for him and I absolutely love the nursery and the staff.


My

little boy has grew with soo much confidence and I feel like the nursery has a massive part to play in building his confidence around others, both adult and children, as he has always been very clingy.

My son has been at this nursery for 5 months now and I cannot fault it! The staff are amazing with him! He has settled in so well; he's never cried when dropping him off (unlike a different nursery he went to). He has regular cuddles from the girls, which he doesn't normally do with anyone except me,
so I find it really comforting. I definitely recommend Childs 1st to anyone who is thinking about signing their children up.
