Child 1st (Solihull)

Outstanding nursery, including staff and features. My child has settled so well due to staff in preschool 2. Staff are friendly, welcoming and easy to approach. My child is always learning new things with different topics each week. A range of food and meals, which my child enjoys.

The activities the staff provide for the children exceed all of my expectations with visits from external organisations such as dance and yoga instructors. The staff are so personable and always happy to have a chat at pick up and drop off times. My son is so happy there and we couldn't have chosen a better nursery for him. Thank you.

Child 1st is a fantastic nursery. I have one child who's been there for almost a year and another that started in September both of them really enjoy nursery and speak so positively about the staff members. I can't thank the team in pre-school enough, two staff members in particular and especially my child's key person, who always gives great observations showing me what my child's been doing, what they are learning, what's next to come and so on, my child's so comfortable and happy around them. As well as the team in toddlers and my sons key person, who again is always so friendly so informative, supportive and kind. Big thank you to them all for all their support especially two staff members in particular, who I've known for a long time, they're a real credit to the nursery and do such a wonderful job.

My daughter started of in babies at just 9 months, where she grew a lovely bond with all the girls but particularly her key person, she spent day in day out bonding with my child and making her first bit of time at nursery so amazing for both me and my child. She then went on to tots room where she gained a really good connection with her new key worker. She would get really excited to go to nursery to see key key worker and all of her friends. Although her time was short in tots, her key worker still managed to gain the best bond with her. She's now in toddles and has really strong bonds with the staff and loves coming in to see her friends and get up to some fun stuff, she grew very close to her key person who she loves and has a really good bond with. She then went over to another member of staff's group and has really made such a good bond with the other staff member in the short while she's been in her group. The staff are all amazing throughout the nursery and I can't wait to send my new little girl here.

Child 1st has been amazing with the looking after and development of my son. With his autism diagnosis, they've been super helpful and are always pushing for the best care and support that he needs. He's been going to Child 1st since he was 1 and I can honestly say the development I've seen and progress of my son has been massively influenced by the wonderful staff that work there. 100% would recommend this nursery as they really go above and beyond.

The boys have built such a great bond with staff and are always happy to go in to nursery and enjoy their time there. I'm so glad I chose Child 1st, they are amazing.

The things they do with the children and the stories my children come home with are amazing!! Thank you for looking after my boys exactly how I would want you too!

Price wise I think it's a fair cost, yes it's expensive, but the safeguarding, the activities, the friendliness and the food he's given, makes me happy and I can leave him with peace of mind!

My daughter is in tots 2, she only joined the nursery at the start of September. Since then she has come on leaps and bounds. The nursery is a lovely place, every class has access to the garden. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

My daughter started in the tots room in September. Lovely nursery, great communicative staff members. She has settled in really well especially through the use of settle sessions. I feel at ease with my daughter being here.

Reaching the nursery stage for our son was daunting. How will he settle in, will he be ok, will he be cared for, will he like it, will he develop? These are just a small number of examples of questions in your head as a parent. The staff at Child 1st, particularly the staff in Pre-school 1, have made the whole experience so much better than we expected. With regular contact through the app, chats before and after and the recorded journeys/observations, my wife and I are confident that our lad is getting everything he needs out of the nursery experience. This is supported by his own words, telling us how much he enjoys it, how good of a day he has had, wanting to go back tomorrow and have best friends. From a parent's perspective, it's been great. Keep up the good work.

My son started in November last year and has settled in so well at the nursery thanks to his key worker and the other baby room staff! They are amazing. All of the staff at nursery have always gone above and beyond and I feel really content with the quality of care he is receiving. The nursery always participates in a variety of holidays/celebrations and involve the parents as much as they can which is great. I couldn’t fault the nursery and would recommend it to anyone.

My daughter is coming on leaps and bounds at Child 1st Solihull! Cannot thank the staff enough for the hard work they put in with the children and for keeping us updated with all their work and friendships and habits. So pleased.

My grandson has been coming to Child 1st Solihull for over a year now and I can honestly say I have seen a massive change in his speech. As this is an area he struggles with but he will happily sing nursery rhymes now by himself, thanks to the lovely staff for supporting him. Also when I have collected and dropped my grandson off, staff are always so friendly and approachable.

My child has been a part of this nursery for over a year, she has come on leaps and bounds. The support we have from the staff is amazing, my daughter absolutely loves attending nursery and always talks highly of the staff. We are so grateful for the guidance she receives whilst at nursery.
