Highfield Day Nursery is set in a converted property that is staffed by a highly trained team of childcare professionals. Children's individual interests are nurtured and promoted with child-led play being a key feature of Highfield's philosophy.

A flexible interior supports a great deal of age-specific learning, with four playrooms in total, messy playrooms, sensory rooms, an art room and also a sleeping area for babies.

An enclosed garden offers year-round, all-weather activities which help to promote children's social, emotional and physical development.

They also offer the extracurricular activity of Mini Athletics alternate Monday and Friday mornings from 10am for the Bumblebees and Preschool rooms.

*7am start is available at an additional cost. Standard opening time is 7.30am.

The nursery is extremely good. My daughter is very happy, loves going to nursery every day and she is learning a lot. The staff are excellent, especially the teachers at bumblebees. The food is also great, my daughter is enjoying it. Overall, the nursery is excellent value for money and I would recommend
it.

I'm so pleased I found Highfield! My little boy has had some ups and downs health-wise and all the staff have been absolutely wonderful, so accommodating! He's now settled back in after some months off and I have nothing but praise for how the staff and management have handled this situation. He loves
being at nursery, he loves the garden and I enjoy the little updates on the app. Staff always give a comprehensive handover and are happy to answer any questions or discuss any issues and they're open to trying things differently if they're not working. We're very happy with Highfield!

Highfield Edgbaston Birmingham is a great child care setting. The staff are very experienced and professional. Since my son has started at Highfield, he has grown into a thriving and confident individual who is learning and developing more each day.
The parent app is great to see the observations and
activities that my son has been doing. He has a great bond with his key worker. My son enjoys attending his nursery! As parents, we would recommend Highfield’s Birmingham to friends and family!

I would definitely recommend Highfields. The care and attention provided is just excellent.
My daughter loves attending preschool here.
I feel it is a little costly but I think it's just in line with nursery costs.
Parking is an issue sometimes, especially around 5pm. Other than that, it's really
good.

A very professional, warm and welcoming nursery. Staff are very helpful and show a genuine interest in the child they teach.
I have sent both my children to this nursery and would recommend it to others.

I am very satisfied with all the services provided by the nursery. My son attends preschool class. He is very happy. He likes the staff, hie keyworker, his friends, the activities and the food.
The management team and all the staff are very helpful, supported all my son's needs and they are always

Brilliant nursery. My daughter just started school and having attended her first parents evening, we had amazing feedback. All thanks to Highfield, she is able to write her full name independently, count her numbers and write up to 30 and her alphabet.

Nursery management have answered emails promptly and been very helpful in the runup to starting nursery. The nursery appears well run and all the staff have been of a high standard and always approachable and friendly. Very pleased with the initial couple of weeks. Key worker and 2 key workers have
worked well. Useful and succinct feedback from day one.

A wonderful nursery that our daughter loved attending. The staff are super friendly, professional and instil peace of mind in us parents! We would not hesitate to recommend Highfield Day Nursery to any parent. It is excellent in every area, from the activities the children undertake on a daily basis to the nutritional and varied meals served. My daughter has seconds of most meals each day!
You can tell that the staff genuinely love
what they do and have a real interest in making each child’s day as interesting and interactive as possible. The outside space is a lot of fun the children spend a lot of time out there - something that was important to us when we were looking at nurseries.
There is a parent app where photos and achievements are shared securely. This is an excellent way of seeing what our daughter has been up to on a day to day basis.
Our daughter has loved her time at Highfield and she leaves there a confident, happy little girl- we couldn’t have been happier with our choice for the first few years of her life.

Fantastic nursery. Very caring staff, excellent facilities, good selection of food.
Brilliant hours. We had the choice of placing our daughter in our son's school nursery but chose to keep her in this nursery because we feel the care is exactly what we were looking for. The second time around, we

My child liked the nursery from day one and has always felt very settled. The staff team are wonderful and offer a wide variety of activities throughout the day. We particularly liked the fact that the children are rarely in more than a ration of 1-10 per room so it is never too noisy, they have room
to move and plenty of space to play. The garden is wonderfully resourced and plenty of time is given for the children to play in it. It's a wonderful environment for children to learn in and flourish.

Natalie is the manager of Highfield Day Nursery in Birmingham and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for over 25 years. She has numerous qualifications, including an NVQ 2 and 3 in Childcare, and has undertaken an NVQ in Management since being with Childbase Partnership. In September 2020, Natalie celebrated her 20 years of service at the company.
