Highfield Day Nursery is set in a converted property that is staffed by a highly trained team of childcare professionals. Children's individual interests are nurtured and promoted with child-led play being a key feature of Highfield's philosophy.

A flexible interior supports a great deal of age-specific learning, with four playrooms in total, messy playrooms, sensory rooms, an art room and also a sleeping area for babies.

An enclosed garden offers year-round, all-weather activities which help to promote children's social, emotional and physical development.

They also offer the extracurricular activity of Mini Athletics alternate Monday and Friday mornings from 10am for the Bumblebees and Preschool rooms.

*7am start is available at an additional cost. Standard opening time is 7.30am.

Every day I drop off my son at Highfield Day Nursery I know he will be cared for at the highest level by all the staff everyday. When I collect him he has a huge smile on his face. The experience he gains from attending this nursery is priceless.

The fantastic nursery which provides excellent care and learning activities. My little girl is given a range of highly stimulating activities to take part in. There are amazing toys/resources in and outdoors where they are given free choice and free flow play. Communication is outstanding, excellent
systems to see child obs, and photos of their time at nursery through parent zone, which gives the parent the opportunity to contribute too.

My son started Highfield Nursery when he was 18 months old and from the minute he started, he LOVED it. The building, team and management are all welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. One of the reasons I fell in love with the nursery is the amount of time some of the team have worked there (10 years
plus).
My son has recently left as I'm on maternity leave and we can't wait for him to go back!

My daughter has been attending this nursery for the past 2 years following her attending another provider and this was the best move I made. The management team are professional and proactive. I couldn't have asked for better staff/keyworkers for my daughter, majority of which have been working there
for a long time (always a good sign when a nursery retains staff). I always felt comfortable leaving her here. She has learnt so much since being there, they follow the EYFS and provide regular assessments. The introduction of parent zone meant I could keep track of her progress at any time on my phone or other devises. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Amazing care and support for my daughter. Staff have supported her in her transition to pre-school and know her interests, likes and dislikes. My daughter has access to amazing resources freely and enjoys her time at nursery greatly. The outdoor area is amazing and my daughter gets access to go outside
in all weather. All staff are very welcoming and are very much an outstanding team.

Both my little boy and little girl have attended Highfield Day Nursery. My overall experience has totalled the last 6 years. It is my daughters last 2 months before she is to leave for new beginnings at reception school. Where has the time gone? I cannot begin to describe how amazing all the staff have
been. The kids are the most precious things in our lives and they have cared for them as they would their own. It has meant we can go to work with peace of mind knowing our children are in safe hands.

The nursery has provided an excellent level of care for my child.
I have seen her grow and develop into a lovely, caring and thoughtful child.
Her education level has improved dramatically and I feel that the staff have helped to ensure that all the children develop.
I would most definitely recommend

Natalie is the manager of Highfield Day Nursery in Birmingham and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for over 25 years. She has numerous qualifications, including an NVQ 2 and 3 in Childcare, and has undertaken an NVQ in Management since being with Childbase Partnership. In September 2020, Natalie celebrated her 20 years of service at the company.
