Highfield Day Nursery is set in a converted property that is staffed by a highly trained team of childcare professionals. Children's individual interests are nurtured and promoted with child-led play being a key feature of Highfield's philosophy.

A flexible interior supports a great deal of age-specific learning, with four playrooms in total, messy playrooms, sensory rooms, an art room and also a sleeping area for babies.

An enclosed garden offers year-round, all-weather activities which help to promote children's social, emotional and physical development.

They also offer the extracurricular activity of Mini Athletics alternate Monday and Friday mornings from 10am for the Bumblebees and Preschool rooms.

*7am start is available at an additional cost. Standard opening time is 7.30am.

I have been so happy with the care my daughter has received over the last 3 years. The staff are so friendly and caring. My daughter really enjoys her time at the nursery. We will both miss it when she goes to school.

Two of our children have attended Highfield over the last 5 years. We have always been delighted with the care that they have received. The staff are very knowledgeable about the children and plan carefully to ensure activities are well suited and stimulating. The children have always been happy here
and we don't have tears when they are left. We, as parents, have felt confident that the children are well cared for, fed with healthy delicious food and having plenty of fun - what more would we want in a nursery.

It is very well run in terms of the management. The quality of staff is exceptional. I feel that are really invested in my daughter's development, and her progression. It is a very positive experience for our daughter and I think any doubts I had as working mother if the nursery is the right thing,
has completely gone and she has benefited from being there. The standard and staff at the nursery are superb.

Was good, however based on all reviews going digital there was a few teething problems but am pleased to see that this is a step forwards in a positive way. All the information was still made available. So overall a very happy parent. :)

Highfield nursery is a wonderful environment to leave your child in the care of fantastic staff. I have peace of mind that my daughter is happy, safe, playing, learning and developing both mentally and physically. It is like an extended family and you feel the love and warm atmosphere when you enter
the building. My daughter has a strong and enriching bond with the staff and loves going to Pre-school, often not wanting to leave to come home! I highly recommend Highfield and we will truly miss it when my daughter leaves to start school this year.

My child has been with Highfield Day Nursery for three years now. In this time she has grown academically, socially and is very confident with her development ability. The nursery facilities are fantastic, safe and great fun. The staff are highly trained, competent, friendly and extremely attentive
to each and every child. There is a great mix of discipline, freedom and guidance for the children. The measure for us as parents is simply how my daughter talks about her wonderful days at nursery "school".

Highfield is a fantastic nursery. I can visibly see my son coming on leaps and bounds after a day at nursery. The staff are brilliant and provide great feedback on everything he has been up to during the day. The outdoor space is excellent. Food quality is of a very high standard. Highfield is also
very good at learning about culture and being respectful of other faiths.

Natalie is the manager of Highfield Day Nursery in Birmingham and has a wealth of experience, having worked in the early years sector for over 25 years. She has numerous qualifications, including an NVQ 2 and 3 in Childcare, and has undertaken an NVQ in Management since being with Childbase Partnership. In September 2020, Natalie celebrated her 20 years of service at the company.
