Mama Bear's Day Nursery & Pre-School (Plymouth)

Three children over eight years. I wouldn't recommend anyone else. My children have been educated, cared for and loved in here. All the staff are professional and lovely. The management are friendly and effective, the food varied and delicious. My six-year-old still says she wants to be back at Mama Bear's. They are an amazing place and amazing people. Best place to send your children if you want a friendly, reliable, professional, happy and loving place.

My daughter has been coming since she was 7 months old. She is now almost 3. My daughter loves to attend nursery. Staff is always polite and helpful. The nursery is always welcoming and I feel that she has gained so much by attending here both developmentally and emotionally.

My children both love coming to Mama Bear's. My eldest has been coming since he was a month old and is now in his final year of nursery. He has made some lovely friendships. All the staff are friendly and welcoming, and my children are always doing fun activities. The outdoor space is huge, and my eldest loves his garden time.

All the staff are extremely friendly and professional. All staff take an interest in all children and the learning and development are excellent. The manager and office staff are exceptional in answering queries quickly and clearly. Everything is about getting the best for the child and helping parents with busy daily routines. We have been really impressed with everyone and everything at Mama Bears and cannot recommend highly enough.

Our sons have been using this nursery for 8 years and not once have we had to drag them into the place. It is more a case of having to drag them away at the end of the day. The warmth and kindness of the staff from the manager downwards have permitted my wife and I to be able to focus on our careers during the day, safe in the knowledge that our sons will be professionally looked after so well and helped to grow emotionally and physically. The staff have shown great flexibility when problems have arisen and gone out of their way to help us. Everybody says 'hello' when we enter and 'goodbye' when we leave, now it is our turn to say 'thank you' for a job well done". This is an excellent nursery.

Could not recommend this nursery enough. I have been extremely happy with my daughter's care. She has really enjoyed her time here and will be sad to leave.

Both of my children went to Mama Bear's Day Nursery & Pre-School (Plymouth) and they both loved it. The staff are excellent and both of my children have very fond memories. I would like to say a huge thank you with how amazing everyone is in supporting both my children and preparing them for primary school. The staff are supportive and friendly. The variety of meals they offer are great and my daughter always had extra helpings.

All of the staff are extremely friendly and caring. Both my daughters (4 and 2) love going to nursery and have made excellent progress in both their learning and social interaction. The staff are extremely supportive and helped both daughters transition to new rooms etc. The nursery is excellently managed and communication is also excellent. I recommend the nursery to all my friends.

All the staff are friendly and supportive. My daughters thoroughly enjoy their sessions at nursery and tell us about the exciting activities that they have done. We are regularly updated on the eylog. The staff have been supportive when both daughters have moved rooms. The nursery is well managed by a friendly and approachable manager. Communication is excellent.

My little one has come on leaps and binds in all aspects - thanks to the amazing staff.

My son has been attending here for about 18 months and has really come out of his shell. He struggled making friends with children his own age. Now I am told he is one of the most popular boys in there with many friendships. He has learnt so much, especially now in the '4's room. The staff are very approachable and will always go out of their way to make my son feel happy and comfortable.

My family has used this nursery for last seven years for caring for our two boys. Although the nursery has changed its ownership three times, most of the ladies continue to work here. They are incredibly kind and supportive of the development of my boys. Without my son's room team leader's encouragement, I could not see how I could get my boy to be so proud of his Chinese heritage and his ability to speak Chinese.

Without the nursery practitioner, I could not see how I can get my second boy be fond of going nursery and behaving himself. The room supervisor and now manager is always updating you with different funding opportunities. I wholeheartedly recommend this nursery to anyone who needs excellent care to their little ones.

The whole place and the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, all the staff are always very polite and willing to talk. I teach extracurricular activities within nurseries and some of the ones I encounter are not even in the same league and I wouldn't put my kids anywhere else.

My daughter has attended Mama Bear's Day Nursery & Pre-School (Plymouth) for just over two years. I couldn't recommend them enough to family and friends. All staff are kind, caring and professional. That focus towards our daughter was superb. The management is supportive and approachable to any concerns raised. They made us feel like part of a huge family. Mama Bear's Day Nursery & Pre-School (Plymouth) is well run, organised, happy place to learn and develop. My daughter left today and we all feel as a family that we want to take the rest of the staff with us as they have now become part of our family.

I have spent the past six years with this nursery providing care for my two boys. Not having even looked at any other nurseries so everything about Mama Bears Day Nursery in Plymouth suits me and my boys perfectly. The staff made me feel part of a family from day one and my boys have both had many happy times here. I would and often do recommend this nursery to anyone needing child care in Plymouth. Mama Bears is a fun place to be for the children and the parents and all our needs have always been met. It will be a sad day when my youngest grows too old for the nursery.
