Mama Bear's Day Nursery & Pre-School (Plymouth)

Amazing nursery with friendly, hardworking staff that do their utmost to put the children's needs first. My son is always so happy when I pick him up, telling me how much fun he had and the different activities he has done throughout the day. The staff keep you well informed of any information regarding your child, as well as keeping you up to date on an app with your child's progress, what they've been up to, and what they've eaten for mealtimes. Highly recommended.

My child receives outstanding care at Mama Bear's Day Nursery. I cannot fault anything at all. The staff are welcoming and kind, my child is always happy in their care and enjoys going to nursery. I feel she is safe there more importantly. The communication is great and they have been accommodating to our needs. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough to other parents!

We will both be extremely sad when he leaves for school but couldn’t have wished for a great place for him to develop his first years.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to all the girls that I have met over the last few years when I have collected my granddaughters, one who left last year. You have an amazing nursery and you all do a fantastic job with the children. I know both of my granddaughters truly loved being at Mama Bear's Day Nursery & Pre-School (Plymouth) and I really enjoyed dropping off and picking up my granddaughters. So thank you all for everything.

My daughter attends Mama Bears Nursery in Springhill since she was 9 months old. The professionalism and care of the team there is phenomenal to our daughter and also to us as parents. We have watched her growth in learning and development has been amazing. The app is always updated and the teachers and manager are so approachable. Safety and security is paramount at this nursery as well so we do not worry when she is at nursery. Medically trained at first aid and their quick response when our daughter fell ill at nursery put us at ease really quickly when we were worried. It is a nursery where you as parents feel like you belong to a family as it is very family-orientated.

My little one has settled very well into Mama Bear's after only a couple of months, the staff are extremely welcoming, smiley and approachable. My little one really enjoys nursery and is always so excited to come here every time. I feel assured my little one is safe here, all whilst learning/developing and being surrounded by such engaging staff members.

Staff are always friendly and caring towards my son and have really encouraged him to learn the things he needs to before starting school. His confidence has grown and I now feel he is well-prepared for when he leaves. I will miss the nursery especially after both our boys went there.

I’ve sent both my children to Mama Bear's Springhill Green and it’s so important to find a place where you are happy and your child is getting the best care whilst you go to work. With 5 years apart, the team have remained the same. The team are fantastic and we are very thankful for all that they do. The children have a great time.

My daughter has attended this nursery for 3 years and has been in every room of it. Staff are always friendly, accommodating and welcoming. They have a portal which they are brilliant at updating to show what your child has eaten, what they have done and any news the parents need to know. I think all in all it’s a great nursery and I will be sad when my child moves on to go to school.

We were apprehensive about moving from a small childminder setting to a nursery setting but the switch really worked for our daughter and feel the larger setting will make a smoother transition to primary school.

I couldn’t fault mama bears Spring Hill both my children have been here. Along with other family members. The team are such a joy and makes you feel at ease when leaving children if they struggle with staying.

This is a really brilliant nursery! The staff are lovely and caring, and do a really brilliant job of ensuring my daughter has a great day, makes friends and learns new things! I can't thank the staff enough - they are great communicators, and really helpful and understanding.

Mama Bear's Springhill Green looked after my daughter a few years ago and now cares for my little boy. The service I have experienced from them over the last 5 years has been nothing but outstanding. The girls in the bouncy room are all amazing and the staff are so friendly and flexible providing brilliant support to parents trying to manage changing schedules around work. I wouldn’t dream of putting my children anywhere else. I get daily updates of all the lovely activities my little boy is doing and can see his progress coming along so beautifully with the girl's support. He is always eating home-cooked food and playing outside in the fresh air with his friends. Thank you so much Mama Bear's.

My first child started Mama Bears at Springhill Green in June 2018 and my youngest now attends. It is such a lovely, caring and supportive environment for them and they have both built lovely relationships with the team. Never questioned my decision and cannot speak more highly of all of the team at Mama Bears.

My eldest is now at school and my youngest is nearly 3 and absolutely loves going to nursery, he runs in and is excited to tell me all about his day when I collect him. The Manager and the Team are amazing and I cannot rate them and the nursery as a whole, highly enough.

Nothing is too much trouble and the app is constantly updated so you know how your little one is getting on throughout their sessions. I have no hesitation in recommending Mama Bears Spring Hill if you are looking for a nursery setting for your child. The manager and the team are fab!

The staff are friendly, helpful and considerate, and they go out of their way to match your child's routine at home to the nursery setting. I would highly recommend this nursery.

My daughter attends mama bears 3 days a week, she is absolutely thriving at this nursery and loves it. The staff are amazing and work really hard. I feel happy and content handing my child over, as I know she is well cared for and looked after. I feel all of her needs are met, she is treated with love and care and is fed good healthy meals with a good variety of menus. She always has the option to have more if she requires it. The nursery is clean and well managed, parents and children are always welcomed warmly and nothing is too much trouble. Mama Bear's provides a fantastic environment for children to grow and nurture, and the staff are good at helping and encouraging our daughter to reach her full potential and thrive. Thank you to all at Mama Bear's for helping us to give our daughter the best possible start in life., She is becoming an amazing little person and you play a big part in that.
