Kiddi Caru Day Nursery and Preschool in Torquay is a spacious, purpose-built setting rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (July 2024). Located near the Willows Retail Park, the nursery provides easy access, on-site parking, and a calm, nurturing environment.

With dedicated playrooms, private gardens, and a well-loved yurt used for yoga and music sessions, the setting supports learning through play. Their sensory room, three garden allotments, and a curriculum inspired by the Curiosity Approach help children develop confidence, creativity, and independence.

Educational programmes such as Sow & Grow, Make & Bake, and Boogie Mites are part of the daily routine. The experienced and long-serving team includes a qualified SENCo, and real-time updates are shared with families via the nursery app. Strong parent partnerships are encouraged through a lending library, home learning bags, and regular communication. 2 children have attended the nursery part-time. Staff have always been friendly and welcoming - all the more important when only attending 1 day per week.

Both my children have attended Kiddi Caru and I wouldn't have them go anywhere else. The staff are so friendly and patient with the little ones and every staff member I bump into knows my child's name and welcomes them in. Both my children have been so happy here and I would recommend this nursery
in a heartbeat. They do so many different activities that allow our children to have messy play, outdoor play, cooking, singing, signing and yoga to name a few. My daughter absolutely adores the staff in Pebbles and as a working mum it means everything to know our daughter is happy, well looked after and safe.

My child started at Kiddi Caru at 12 months old and has now been there for a year and a half.
My child was quite emotional when starting but they made it easier by giving more settling in time. Soon it became routine and my child integrated brilliantly, thanks to all the staff. Everything the staff
do is fantastic and I would highly recommend Kiddi Caru to any friends.

After months of looking, I finally found a nursery that was the right fit for my son, and I have not been disappointed. Both of my sons now attend. I'm very happy with the care provided for them. They have completely different personalities, yet there is such a well varied day that they both love their
day for different reasons. My 2-year-old has come on leaps and bounds since beginning in January.

This nursery is lovely, my little girl has been there since she was 9 months old and she is now 2 and a half. Staff are amazing with the children and they go above and beyond, they are always happy and smiling, my little girl loves going to nursery, she never wants to leave.
My little girl has been
there for 2years and the nursery has only called me once regarding illness, they try their best to comfort them and give them cuddles but sometimes they just want their parents.
I would highly recommend Kiddi Caru.

This is my second child to attend Kiddi Caru Day Nursery, Torquay. Both have been positive experiences. The staff are approachable, friendly as well as knowledgeable. Both my partner and I really appreciate the download of our child's day upon collection. Advice is given when necessary and any concerns
raised is taken seriously and actioned upon appropriately. Both children enjoy/enjoyed Kiddi Caru Day Nursery, Torquay and the activities available to them, which are both educational and fun.

Both of our children have attended Kiddi Caru and both have thrived there. We live elsewhere previously and thought they were in a good nursery but it was only moving here that we realised that was not the case. They have learnt so much including French and sign language.
We get good feedback at the
end of each day. We are so glad knowing the children have been in safe hands.

This is an excellent nursery. From the first visit, we thought this was a great place. Lovely conditions and the staff is very caring. It's not easy to leave your children with someone but knowing that they are well looked after and stimulated and having fun it's so reassuring.

After doing lots of research I decided Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Torquay was the only place I wanted my children to go. It outshines in my option all other local nurseries, leaving your children is hard but I feel safe in the knowledge that they are there, safe and happy.

Have used for both children, they have really loved their time there, the staff are wonderful, the facilities modern and bright, lots of extra activities such as yoga, baking, French, sing and sign. Also great outdoor space. I can't praise it enough.

I can not recommend this nursery enough. Every mother struggles to let their child go into the hands of strangers but I have never felt more relaxed and comfortable. Every mother always thinks their needs and requirements are most important - whereas everyone’s are just as important and they have catered
to every need or want I have ever put on them and for that I thank them.
