Kiddi Caru Day Nursery and Preschool in Torquay is a spacious, purpose-built setting rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted (July 2024). Located near the Willows Retail Park, the nursery provides easy access, on-site parking, and a calm, nurturing environment.

With dedicated playrooms, private gardens, and a well-loved yurt used for yoga and music sessions, the setting supports learning through play. Their sensory room, three garden allotments, and a curriculum inspired by the Curiosity Approach help children develop confidence, creativity, and independence.

Educational programmes such as Sow & Grow, Make & Bake, and Boogie Mites are part of the daily routine. My son has been going to Kiddi Caru Day Nursery for 6 months now. He enjoys going because of the staff one, in particular, from Sandcastles. I love the bond she has with my son. I would like to thank her for being absolutely brilliant with him, couldn’t of asked for anyone better to look after him.

Like the parent app update - would be nice to get more handmade crafts from the children - my friend's children make lots of hand/footprint cards etc at Patrick’s day/Easter etc but we only get them every now and again and I always treasure them as they capture memories for me.

Very friendly staff and lovely premises.
My daughter loves her dedicated staff in her room and talks very highly of them.
She has recently had to have a change of diet and medication and it was all handled very professionally.

Everyone there is really helpful and we both feel really comfortable with the nursery as a whole. Both of our children go there and we looked around several nurseries before choosing Kiddi Caru and have been nothing but impressed with everything.

Without a doubt the best nursery in the area. My little boy has come along so much and always has the best days there. I am so glad I chose for him to go to Kiddi Caru Day Nursery Torquay. He has been in seagulls and is now in seashells, and both are amazing. He has grown an amazing bond with the girls.

Our daughter loves the nursery and especially the staff. Two members of staff, in particular, are absolutely amazing ladies. The facilities and the ease of drop off and pick up are also very good. However, we strongly disagree with the company policy of charging for bank holidays when the child cannot
attend as you are not open. By issuing a monthly invoice to be agreed upon and then sending a reminder about the bank holidays a few days after the invoice had been issued and paid.

My experience with Kiddi Caru has always been met with professional and friendly staff.
The facilities for the children is a safe environment and also fun. learning is catered for each child and I'm so glad my child got to go here. I will miss the Kiddi Caru family when we start mainstream school.

My daughter absolutely loves going to nursery. The staff are fantastic and I feel happy leaving her there knowing she is in safe hands. I was worried that growing up in lockdown would have an adverse effect on her but hearing how confident and happy she is at nursery is great to know.

The girls are so so lovely in this nursery! My daughter absolutely adores one inparticular! It makes me feel really good that I can leave her and she's being looked after so well! She even comes home clean, not covered in paint etc. She absolutely loves the food you have there, she's super fussy at
home, I cook her the same sort of meals you do and she won't eat much of it. Your outdoor space is amazing! Which I know she will love as she loves being outside. I wish I could afford to put her in more days as she loves it so much. Thanks for being so awesome!

In general, the whole nursery and team are fabulous. My daughter has grown and is developing and learning every day. She's been very lucky with every team in each class she's been in. They are all fantastic.

Excellent nursery with caring staff. My daughter loves nursery and I’m very happy that she is in a safe and nurturing environment. She always seems to enjoy the food and the many activities nursery has to offer. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Two members of staff, in particular, have really helped my child who was very unsettled and hated going into nursery. They now go in happily and smiling. My child has learnt a lot of songs and words from nursery and they are developing really well with Kiddi Caru’s help.

A fantastic nursery with professional staff. I always know that when I drop my child off, she is going to have a lovely day. The rooms are well equipped, and the outside space is amazing, so much for them to get involved with and even timetables of activities. My daughter always eats so well at nursery,
so the food must be good as she eats better there than at home!
My daughter is due to progress to the next room up for her age and has been offered some free settle sessions as they thought it would be beneficial for her. This gives me great confidence that they are ensuring my daughter is happy, secure and thriving. Thank you to all staff; everyone I have come across has been nothing but friendly, professional and helpful. I couldn’t recommend enough.

Our younger daughter is currently in Lighthouse. She attends all week.
All I can say is excellent nursery care from all involved in the room. This is shown with the lovely rapport our daughter has with all in her room. 100% recommend this nursery.

Our daughter loves her day a week at Kiddi Caru. She’s always so happy to arrive and has a smile on her face at the end of every day. Our daughter absolutely loves her time in nursery. She has made friends and really enjoys the activities and time spent with the staff who look after her. Considering she was born at the beginning of the first lockdown she is blossoming into a very confident young lady with an ever-increasing vocabulary.
The staff at Kiddi Caru have definitely been a big part of the considerable development we have observed in her. The attention to security, nutrition and a nurturing environment make any parent as at ease as they ever could be leaving their child in the care of someone other than family. We are so glad we put our daughter into this nursery.

My son started here in November and took to all staff and children so well. This was after a failed settle at a different nursery. The staff were great and so caring and inclusive that he fit straight in. The other children were also amazing with him. 5 months down the line and he has come on so much.
I would recommend this nursery to my family and friends.
