Patacake Day Nursery

My daughter started in January when I went back to work. The staff in the baby room were amazing and made this process smooth and easy for both of us! She really seemed to take to her key worker and was happy to be hanging out with her reading books and doing fun activities! This really helped put my mind at ease and I am very grateful to all of the staff for helping her settle in so well.

She has since moved up into the pre-toddlers room, and both my parents and I have noticed that she has learned a lot and is more confident. They are always doing activities and playing outside, she really loves going and likes all of the staff members. It really puts my mind at ease that she is so happy there, she goes straight in without looking back most mornings!

I have a son attending Patacake for over 6 months now. He has been attending full time since February. I find the staff attentive and caring. I am always fully informed of his mood, behaviour, toilet habits and what he has eaten. My son can be very physical when unsettled and in new places and can pinch and bite. Which is obviously upsetting for all concerned, children, parents and myself alike. The staff have been very supportive, offering help and advice, giving him extra attention and really on the case with triggers while he is at school. These incidents are now thankfully far and few between. I have been really impressed with how un-judgemental they have been and how they helped my son through this period of his development. He really enjoys being at Patacake and has plenty of outside play, the activities are varied and all the staff seem to genuinely enjoy their time with him. I have no concerns at all and love hearing him talk about his day. Thank you for caring for him so well

Very friendly nursery, always welcoming when arriving, my grandson thoroughly enjoys his sessions at Patacake Day Nursery. When I pick him up he always talks about his day, the food he's had and the things he's done. The staff are very informative when leaving as well and tell you about his day.

My son is now in the toddler room and transition between rooms has been great. The staff clearly care about the children. The feedback at the end of the sessions is personal and I feel they listen if I have any concerns or information to pass on.

Staff is always open for ideas and feedback. Patacake Day Nursery wants to create a warm and welcome environment for children and parents and succeeds!

Lovely nursery, friendly staff and lovely children. My granddaughter always tells her nana and I her tales from her days at nursery. Well done everyone on giving my granddaughter memories to remember.

My daughter has attended the nursery since she was 8 months old. The staff have always been supportive and when I collect my daughter, I can see she has enjoyed her day by watching how engaged she is, as sometimes she doesn't even realise I have arrived to collect her.

The child I care for really enjoys their days at nursery. Great activities are always set up and have really helped build the child's developmental skills.

Our daughter loves the nursery. She is really happy there. Must be due to all the cuddles, songs and play. Staff are wonderful. Thank you!

Lovely setting for a child to learn play and discover. There are always plenty of activities and play with an educational element. There is a good outdoor space and often can be activities out there whether playing on the equipment or gardening etc The staff are amazing and friendly and it's managed well. I have had 2 children attend. I and my children have felt very welcome here. The new kitchen is a great addition and my daughter enjoys her meals they are balanced and varied and fresh.

My niece loves attending nursery and enjoys the varied curriculum on offer. Staff are professional and dedicated, providing a caring, fun, educational environment. Children are supported and nurtured, enabling them to blossom and thrive. I love hearing about all the things she has been up to. Thank you to the staff team for all their hard work. I would definitely recommend this provision.
