Patacake Day Nursery

My children very much enjoyed their time in Patacake. The staff are friendly and helpful. They take care to ensure that there are a variety of activities every day and there is plenty of play outside in the garden.

My second child has just settled into nursery. The settle went so much better than I thought due to the amount of time my child has been at home with me. This could have only been done by the amazing staff at the nursery showing so much care and kindness. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Such a lovely setting with the most genuine staff members making the transition of settling my son in; very easy. Great communication between parents and staff. Would highly recommend this nursery to anyone in the area.

My son always loved going into nursery and I never had a problem dropping him off which just shows how much he enjoyed his time there. The staff were so attentive to his needs and communication with parents was amazing.

My son started at the age of 16 months and stayed until he left to go into reception and loved every minute of it. They show dedication and create a lovely, fun, warm environment for the children. They always welcomed him in the morning, he was always so excited to get there and never wanted to leave. The staff always gave a good detailed report of his day and what he had been up to and knew his likes and dislikes. Thank you Patacake for everything.

Very friendly and caring staff. Every time we pick up our daughter we always get a summary report of her day and activities and by the end of the week we get an email about what has been taught and the activities promoted that week. Communication is very easy and the staff is very flexible. The location is great in a quiet neighbourhood without lots of traffic making it easy and safe to pick up our kids. I am now expecting another child and really hope to get a place for her here as well. Totally recommend.

Our daughter went to Patacake and had the most wonderful time and the best care. She had a lot of fun and the resources available were great. The setting is very clean and welcoming. I would highly recommend that any parent who is considering a setting for their child that they use Patacake. It's the best setting my daughter has attended by far. The staff are all incredibly helpful and passionate about their job.

My daughter went to Patacake and we were over the moon with the care and play activities that were provided for her. She had amazing relationships with all the staff we felt very confident in leaving her in the care of the wonderful team. As parents, we were kept up to date with everything and were invited to come to the setting for parents evenings and play days regularly. Very happy with this nursery and the staff highly recommend this setting.

This nursery has been amazing through everything that has been going on. They are always very helpful and happy and have made everything very easy. It's lovely to see my nephew run straight in and go to his keyworker. Thank you all for being so amazing.

This nursery is amazing and I would 100% recommend this nursery to anyone. My niece has settled in really well and loves the nursery. It's like a second home for us all. The staff are 100% supportive also.

Wow! What a brilliant nursery, my nephew has an amazing time here every single day and the staff make the transition of him being away from home an easy one. My nephew has recently started here and is very happy, and settled it great. Whenever I pick him up he is happily playing and always content. It's a lovely setting and always a very welcoming place to enter.

Our little one is always eager to go to Patacake and happily runs inside when we arrive. The staff are very caring and attentive, and our key person is always very positive, calm and patient. Communication from management is also excellent, with clear and detailed weekly emails.

Overall, we've had a positive experience, especially during this challenging time!

I was apprehensive about putting my child in nursery but I have been thoroughly impressed since my child started at Patacake Day Nursery in Sept 2019. The staff worked hard to settle him in and to reassure me. The feedback was comprehensive and my worries quickly disappeared. In time, my child stopped clinging to me when I left him and started to beam when I picked him up. He quickly acquired new skills and came home every time with some new little thing that he had learnt. I believe the bonding between the key worker staff and the children at Patacake Day Nursery is key to their success, but this is also coupled with diligent, vigilant and very thorough management which is essential to it's smooth running.

My daughter has been attending Patacake nursery since last fall. She has global development delay and is a bit behind on her milestones compared to other kids of her age. The nursery has been absolutely instrumental in providing the exact kind of support she needs. Thanks to the team at Patacake we have been seeing improvements every day. She loves attending nursery and absolutely thrives in the kind of nurturing environment that the nursery provides.

My youngest son currently attends Patacake nursery, he began attending when he was 12 months old and is due to start school in September. His older brother also attended from 12 months of age to when he started school 3 years ago. I feel extremely lucky that both my children have attended this nursery. My oldest loved it and my youngest does too - picking him up and seeing his happy face after a fun-filled day hanging out with his friends, doing lots of fun things with the brilliant staff team is always a joy. The staff are fantastic, you really feel like this is not just a job to them - they really care about the children and you know your child is in safe hands. I really value their experience and support and this was especially the case when it came to the tricky matter of toilet training my youngest! It will be a very sad day saying goodbye to the nursery when my son leaves to start school, it has been such a huge and important part of our lives for so many years.

After three years at Patacake, we can say without a doubt that the care has been amazing throughout our journey with them. The team has contributed to shape our kids into curious, sociable and caring individuals. The kids are always eager to go to nursery and happy to see not only their friends but the carers. The recent refurbishment of the rooms and the addition of the canteen (and providing all the food) has been a huge bonus for us. In addition, the nursery has been very good supporting bilingual children and open to various culture/traditions, etc. The outdoor is not very big but they have tried to compensate that with toys, playing areas and play in local parks.

Absolutely fantastic nursery in all regards! Our son has developed tremendously and the staff are all very helpful and patient. We will not hesitate to enrol our second son to the nursery soon too! Thank you.
