Located on the Cambridgeshire Business Park – just five minutes from Ely trains station and situated within the grounds of Cambridgeshire Business Park. An excellent location for parents working in the area or commuting. The nursery provides high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years.

The modern purpose-built nursery is set in its own self-contained building and gardens. All age groups benefit form Bright Horizons extensive Growing Enhancements programmes to provide learning and developments in fields such as Reading, Writing, Maths, Sports, Science, IT and Art. The nursery is well-equipped, featuring the latest in early years and educational equipment. The outdoor space is ideal for children of all ages, which are well-resourced and provide opportunities for learning outside.

With all-inclusive fees, which means less to pack on a busy morning, their onsite meals are prepared with nutrition in mind. From healthy lunches and snacks to the chosen branded nappies and wipes included in the fees.

I am very happy to have my daughter at Bright Horizons Ely. The staff are wonderful and for me, the most important is how excited she comes home and how happy she is there. I would definitely recommend this nursery!

My 7 month old son went for his induction yesterday at Ely Day Nursery. The staff went above and beyond to make my experience a positive one, welcoming, positive and reassuring. My son went to Bright Horizons Ely Day Nursery and Preschool after trying 2 other nurseries and not getting on. To say I was reluctant to send him was an understatement. However, my son got on so well, the care and attention he received was second to none. I’d recommend them to anyone. My little boy
is now at school but his time at Bright Horizons has a special place in both of our hearts.

I absolutely love Bright Horizons Ely Day Nursery and Preschool; we visited a few nurseries in Ely and this one has the friendliest, happiest staff, bright colourful rooms and national support and learning techniques. My son loves it. We frequently receive paintings, occasionally bakes and they play
outside all the time. It’s not the closest to us but definitely worth the travel.

There is no better feeling than knowing you can leave your children in good hands. I couldn't be more happy with the incredible staff. They truly go the extra mile just to put a smile on your little one's face, it takes a tribe to raise a child and I am so happy and grateful we have the Bright Horizons

I cannot recommend Bright Horizons enough, my Daughter started when she was 6 months old and she is now about to leave to head to Primary School. She has thoroughly enjoyed her time here and there was never a time she didn't want to attend. My Son is now 10 months old and he has been attending since
he was 5.5 months old, the smile on his face when his key worker comes out to collect him assures me he thoroughly enjoys his time too. They provide a daily review of what and how much they have eaten, nappy changes and what they have been doing/exploring. They also send photos home to show you what they have been doing.
Communication from them, even during this difficult time, has been outstanding.
There is always a warm welcome when you drop off/pick up your children.

The care at Bright Horizons in Ely has been excellent for both of our two children. The staff are so caring and really know our children. The team make sure we are kept informed about how the children are getting on, which has been really useful during the pandemic. The care is both personable and professional,

My 12-month-old son started at nursery in late April. He settled almost immediately (minus a quick cry at the door in the mornings) and loves his days at nursery thanks to the fantastic staff. I am provided with a daily report as well as paintings and photos, which has really helped me know how much

All the nursery staff have been fantastic at helping my daughter to settle back into nursery after a year at home and not really being used to playing with other children. She goes in happily and comes out happy, with lovely paintings and photos of all she has been up to. It is reassuring to see so

We had to make a decision as to whether to put our 10-month-old baby into nursery in the height of the pandemic and we are now so glad that we did.
Our baby is now growing up to be a confident and social child and I fully believe this wouldn't have happened without the help of the nursery, the staff
there and him having other children to play with. He loves playing in the garden, painting and eating everything that is put in front of him.
Every single member of staff has been absolutely lovely and helpful, I can't recommend this nursery enough.

My children whom are aged 6, 5, 4 and 18 months have attended Bright Horizons Ely at a point in their childhood. My son whom is 18 months has been with the nursery since he was six months old. I can not thank the nursery enough for the care they give my son, it is above and beyond, like a family atmosphere.
They have helped him into a good routine for his sleep, he eats independently and his development stands at a two-year-olds level. They recently moved him to the next age group room to aid his development and within a few days, we could see the positive changes of not only independence but his verbal communication increased with his mobility advancing. We would very highly recommend this nursery. Thank you to all the staff in the room, to the management at the nursery, to the staff at head office.

This nursery is amazing. The way the key workers have nurtured my son is so comforting to know as a parent. My son has created close bonds with three or more of his key workers and shouts their names in excitement when he realises we are at nursery. They have helped develop his speech and understanding,
he is always saying new words and talking about new topics when he gets home. They always call to let me know if he is having a rough day or has bumped his head, so I am always kept in the loop. We also receive a note at the end of the day detailing what he enjoyed doing that day, nappy changes and how much he ate at each meal time. They also accommodate to our vegan diet respectfully, no questions asked. All these create such a sense of involvement and the great communication is just beyond what is expected, due to previous experiences with other nurseries. Would recommend this nursery setting to any friend, family or stranger that asks. I genuinely cannot fault them.

Our two and a half year old son is very happy at Bright Horizons Ely Day Nursery and Preschool. The team members are warm, welcoming and lots of fun. Our son is well-stimulated and cared for and comes home with happy memories of the day to discuss at dinner! The management team is helpful, very approachable

Brilliant place, friendly staff, plenty for kids to learn and do. They worked extremely well and hard through the Covid-19 times. My children are very happy here. The food is varied and they have plenty of outdoor play, no matter the weather.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I started working with the company in 2002, where I started as a level 2 nursery nurse. I trained on the job to complete my level 3 NVQ, and a short while after, I was promoted to the role of room supervisor in the Early Pre-School room. In 2011, I left the nursery to gain experience in another setting. I returned to the nursery in 2012 as the baby room leader and completed my NVQ level 4 in child care, the following year, I was promoted to Third in charge of the nursery.


I thoroughly enjoyed my role as a room leader but was looking for a new challenge so I applied for the role of deputy manager and I was successful. I have been the deputy manager at Ely Day Nursery since October 2014 and I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of my job- I wouldn’t change it for the world.

Hello, I am Chloe the Deputy Manager.


I joined Ely Day Nursery in October 2023 having previously worked in childcare for 11 years. I wanted to step into a management position in order to support staff, parents and children achieve, learn and develop.
Since joining I have enjoyed learning so much more about childcare and development through the range of support Bright Horizons offers.
I love how busy the setting is as well as how welcoming everyone was both in the setting as well as throughout the company.


The thing I enjoy the most about my job is building a foundation for children to enhance their skills and development their imagination.
