Bright Horizons Ely Day Nursery and Preschool

My son has been at Ely Day nursery for 3.5 years, since just prior to his first birthday. He has moved through 4 different age-group rooms in that time, and in each one has been given warmth, encouragement, support and love. Every member of the staff, from the administrative side, through the kitchens and cleaning staff to the individual carers knows all the children individually and always has time to talk to parents and children alike. The nursery has a very welcoming and kind atmosphere, but also impresses me with the level of personal responsibility the carers expect and receive from the children. My son has flourished in their care and I have recommended the nursery to several friends.

My son began attending this nursery when we moved to the area last year. From day one I was impressed by the layout and brightness of the building, and found that it was the best we had seen having looked at other nurseries. The staff here are friendly and happy to assist. I particularly appreciate the weekly newsletter that is emailed by the manager, which gives a further insight into the activities his class are doing that week. My son is really happy at this nursery and I would highly recommend to anyone.

When My daughter started the nursery, everyone was so friendly and helpful! The staff in the toddler room where so caring and were truly amazing at meeting my daughter needs! It took a while for my daughter to settle in, but the staff were quick to understand how to calm and settle her down! My daughter now absolutely loves going to nursery and can't wait to go!

Any ask is never a problem across all levels of staff from cleaner to management.

The nursery is extremely well run and all staff are enthusiastic and committed to the children in their care. My child has special needs and the staff have made every effort to accommodate and develop her. Being part of a larger chain has been helpful in accessing extra expertise when needed but doesn't detract from the caring and homely feel of the setting. My elder daughter was also at the nursery and her time there set a firm foundation for her schooling. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kidsunlimited to any parent.
