Co-op Childcare Littlehampton is a purpose-built nursery and is made up of six rooms and a large garden.

They have areas for growing food ( and eating it), regular visits to local care homes and care for each other and the world. Their ParentZone app keeps parents/carers informed about their little ones at nursery with photos from their day, meals eaten and even toilet training progress!

They are big on safety and that's why ALL their staff are paediatric first aid trained. They have 5 Little Pioneers who help share their core values with the children, from encouraging them to be independent to making a difference in the world.

They hold the silver award in the green flag eco schools programme which sees children lead the way in making a little changes that deliver big environmental differences.

At Co-op Childcare Littlehampton they like to learn through play with regular Forest School inspired activities where they encourage all of their children to explore outdoors as part of their development.

Both my children attend this nursery with my son attending for over two years now. I’ve been really impressed with the nursery from day one, both children settled amazingly and have enjoyed attending ever since. The outside space is great and they use it all year round, all activities are considered
and far above what I could do at home with them - so imaginative but also with purpose and learnings. All food is made on-site and my child always loves what is served. Communication is fantastic, I cannot speak more highly of the nursery - you will not be disappointed.

I can not praise the nursery and all the staff more. My daughter has been going since 8 months old and is now in their preschool on site. I would highly recommend it. Caring, professional, person-centered, welcoming and safe. Communication on all aspects of my daughter. Parents app, which helps me with
my separation anxiety.

My son loves the nursery and the staff are extremely attentive and supportive. They are always happy to discuss any questions or queries. They provide regular updates throughout the day about, meals, naps, activities etc.

Our daughter has been going to this nursery for nearly 3 years. She looks forward to going every day. She has come on in leaps and bounds. It is credit to the amazing staff including the yummy menu. I would 110% recommend this nursery for anyone

Both my children have attended this nursery with one not due to leave for a few years. They have both settled well, developed really strong relations with their key workers and enjoy the freedom they are given to learn through play. The outside space is fantastic and my youngest especially loves the
access he has to the outside whenever he can.

After working in nurseries previously, I thought putting my child in one would be hard work as I'd pick up on things others wouldn't. This nursery, however, I had no worries at all sending my child there. With a completely relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, I was put at ease, my child loves coming here
and has come on so much since being here. I would highly recommend the nursery to people.

This nursery has been fantastic for our daughter, it has really brought her out of herself developing her soft skills, such as social interactions as well as reading and writing. The staff are warm and friendly, our daughter has bonded well to them and looks forward to attending (something she has hated
with other nurseries). This Nursery has a lovely warm feeling about it and I know when I leave my daughter is in the best possible hands.

My son started this nursery when he turned one. In January 2019 he settled so well with the girls from ladybirds. He has since moved to caterpillars. His key worker happened to be moving rooms at the same time. This really helped him settle into caterpillars. He has a fantastic bond with his keyworker
and it makes it easier to go to work knowing he has gone in happy.

My child is very happy coming to nursery. She loves her key worker. Her keyworker is a natural with the children and I am at complete ease leaving my child in her care. My daughter has impecable manners which I have the nursery staff to thank for.

My son started in January 2019 and the girls in Ladybirds were all fantastic at settling in both my son and myself! In March, he moved up to Grasshoppers and again the girls were fabulous with him which meant he took no time at all to settle into his new room. I went in recently for a Mother's Day afternoon
and was very impressed with the way the staff respond to the needs of each child, which they recognise can be different child to child. My son is really enjoying his time here and gets excited each morning when I ask if he's ready to go to nursery, which I think speaks volumes about the staff and activities offered.

My daughter (now 1) has been attending the nursery since December 2018. She settled in really well and loves the nursery staff that care for her, she is quite clingy to me usually but is now happy to go with the staff in the room. She enjoys the messy play and musical toys, and she seems suitably tired
out when she comes home (usually has a nice long nap afterwards). She also loves the food and happily gobbles it all up! I'm pleased that we chose this nursery for our daughter and I'm happy to leave her here as I know she is well looked after and happy.

My daughter loves going to nursery! Never have to make her! She comes home having had a great day, worn out after lots of painting and crafting that I can’t let her do at home as much because of her little brother.


She loves the staff who make such an effort to get to know her.

My son has been coming to nursery for the past 4 months and has had a few issues not to do with nursery but they have been completely understanding in his issues.
He has settled well and is easing into nursery life.
The overall nursery is great However, I would like to see more pictures of what he’s
been doing/eating etc.
The nursery would benefit from a school hour day prices or 9-3.
Flexibility to move booked days around due to flexible working/ shift patterns.

Wonderful facilities and always do great activities with the children and nice observations. Give us good ideas for things to do at home and also a great variety of food.
A couple of times nappy should have been changed and got sore but I am sure that could happen anywhere.

The nursery is really nice, the activities are good and my child is happy. I don't like that the washing facilities are separated- hot and cold water, for so small children, they are washing their hands mainly with cold water, which I don't like,and in preschool looks like no one is helping them when
they are using the toilet, they still need some help.

Our children have thoroughly enjoyed their time at Littlehampton nursery. The staff go over and beyond with the care and enthusiasm for the children. Always lots of activities and events and new things for the children to see and do. My two children have learned so much in their time there. Only leaving
because we are moving away from the area.
