Lovely nursery with lots of toys and activities for the children to do, my daughter has settled well into the pre school room. The only down side is sometimes the lack of communication.
Our children have thoroughly enjoyed their time at Littlehampton nursery. The staff go over and beyond with the care and enthusiasm for the children. Always lots of activities and events and new things for the children to see and do. My two children have learned so much in their time there. Only leaving because we are moving away from the area.
Lovely friendly helpful nursery , my son attends here and so did my daughter before starting school .
My daughter has grown in confidence over the last couple of months. Made lots of lovely friends and the staff are excellent.
Great all round nursery. Both of my children have flourished there. Kind and caring staff with lots of activities planned for the children to take part in. Especially impressed with the link to the Local elderly people’s home.
Our daughter has been at nursery for 3yrs. She has been across 2 rooms and each room has had outstanding staff. Both her key workers have been amazing, as have all the staff involved with our daughter. Even when the staff see our daughter they still remember her name and talk to her. Our daughter is very happy at nursery and looks forward to the 3 days there. The Activities that are provided indoors and outdoors are all superb. We’ve seen our daughter really develop and comes home wanting to write her name and numbers.
Highly recommend
He's now in preschool and the staff are beyond amazing. He looks forward to nursery and comes home covered in all sorts of dirt and food which to me says he's been kept busy all day.
We've had an incident with another child where my son got hurt and they called, explained, asked us to come and get him checked, even dropping my partner to the doctors and collecting him after as he didn't have the car.
We have a chat with all the staff on drop off and collection and I know my son is in good hands.
Overall they are just brilliant and I'm so glad I moved him here.
The staff at this nursery are among the best. Both my son's attend/attended this nursery and they got on brilliantly. The staff are amazing with both the children and parents, they are friendly and informative and always happy to help. Am very happy with the service they provide both my children and to myself.
Choosing this nursery was the best decision we made for our daughter, she has cerebral palsy and walks with a walking frame. The staff give her so much support and aim to give her as much independence as possible and including her in everything. Our daughter is treated like a normal child here and in the two months since she started she has more vocabulary, is walking better and is so much more confident. The nursery offers a great range of activities for the children, their outdoor areas are brilliant and they offer a broad range of meals. There is a parents' online portal where they submit pictures and comments about your child and what they have done during the day which is reassuring and keeps the parents involved. Would highly recommend the Co-operative Nursery to anyone looking for childcare.
Recently inconsistent with employees in the morning. Difficult for child to settle at drop off. Variety of activities good.
Always happy with care. Issues dealt with by management quickly. My son loves nursery and all the staff are pleasant and polite.
The ladies seem great and always greet my son with a friendly smile and always seem happy so see him, when I go to pick him up at the end of his day I get told everything he has done during the day in detail which is really great to hear. The rooms are absolutely lovely and the garden is amazing, I really would recommend this nursery to everyone!
Lovely nursery with really kind staff who care a lot about the kids and doing a good job. Will go beyond the basic learning and playing doing fun things like gardening, PE lessons, learning to ride a bike and cooking
We are extremely satisfied with the nursery, our son comes home every day with new experiences. He has settled in very well, likes the food and the opening hours are very convenient as well. We can highly recommend the nursery.
Really nice nursery, can't fault the staff and they always have set plans for the children (rather than just letting them do what they want all day) - plenty of times my daughter has come home with things (food, paintings etc) she's made, which is nice to see.
They are also genuinely concerned about how children progress - one of the staff seemed particularly happy about my daughter's speech improving. It's comforting to see that they genuinely care - rather than just seeing it as a job.
My son has attended the nursery since he was 3 months old. Pretty much every member of the team know his name and he loves going. Would highly recommend as it is such a wonderful place for children and the staff and management are fantastic
Both my children have attended this nursery and I have been extremely happy with all my experiences there. They now feel like family. Both my children have been so happy there. They are always engaged in activities and love the garden. My son has informed me he only needs to eat at nursery as their food is so good.
The communication between the nursery and myself is fantastic, always approachable and any questions have always been answered promptly. Having open drop off and collection times is perfect, if I have to stay on at work I’m not panicking I have to get there for 5 pm. Three meals a day and snacks take so much pressure off in the mornings and the menu is great.
Would definitely recommend every room there. My son has been there for 6 months and it will be sad when we leave this summer for big school.
My child has settled very well and everyone has been friendly and welcoming. Has learnt so much during his time there.
I have been really impressed with the nursery and the caring team at the Co-Op Littlehampton. This is the first time I've put a baby into a nursery and the staff have been wonderfully friendly and supportive to both myself and our son. He is settling in after only a few weeks and gets on really well with his key worker who I have found to be very knowledgeable, caring and understanding of him as an individual. Our son is already coming home showing new learning and I would highly recommend this nursery to other parents.
I do not agree with the automated messages regarding payments. I have an anxiety disorder and recently received an email stating that my son was not welcome at the nursery until our outstanding payments were sorted. We had nothing outstanding and the money being referred to was a refund issued after they deducted money from my bank when we pay vouchers.
In that same week, my son soiled himself and had his favourite boxers binned and we were not informed. This set us back with our potty training as he thought he was being punished for having diarrhoea. The staff at the nursery are lovely and as much as I would love to see work, paintings, pictures come home, I can't fault for how much my son loves going. As a business, however, it lacks the personal touch in regards to the parents and families. Given my condition, I don't appreciate automated and incorrect emails.
