Rainbow Day Nursery & Pre-School provides an exceptional environment and a wonderful quality of care and development for babies and young children from three months up to five years of age. It is their aim to ensure that children 'graduate' to Big School having grown into confident, caring, independent people who are prepared in every way for the next stage of life's learning journey.

Rainbow children enjoy five acres of gardens including nine well-equipped, enclosed, all-weather playgrounds, their own animal sanctuary, galleon, Teletubby hill, allotments, and a children's maze. They also have a double-decker bus, a farm classroom and Forest School sessions are run everyday whatever the weather.

A highly qualified team of staff draw upon a huge range of knowledge, experience and resources to ensure that the children get the maximum learning and development out of enjoying themselves, playing and having fun.

I have had 2 children attend Rainbow nursery from 11 months old. They have both loved their time at Rainbow Nursery. The grounds are amazing and the staff have always been great.
We will miss everyone at Rainbow.

My son has loved his time at Rainbow and he was there for 3 years. I was so happy with the way Rainbow was run, the staff are always so lovely and approachable and the outside space the kids have is amazing. Well run and a true family feel.

My little one has been attending Rainbow Day Nursery full time for almost a year now and I could not have been happier with the care she receives there. Facilities, particularly outdoors, are exceptional and the lovely carers provide a safe environment for her to play and learn.

My 11-month-old daughter has been at Rainbow Nursery for a few weeks now and absolutely loves it. The staff are so welcoming and the variety of activities is excellent. It makes such a difference leaving a child somewhere you know that they are happy and well looked after. The variety extends to the
menu and the range of meals that my daughter has enjoyed is fantastic. The facilities are excellent and the ratio of staff to children is great. We have not had a negative experience since we started here and we are looking forward to seeing our daughter go up through the years. We also like that the facility feels very secure and people take the access protocols seriously. It is very reassuring to know that our daughter is safe and secure while she is developing, learning and being entertained.

Our daughter has been at Rainbow since she was 6 months old and had formed attachments to her key workers and enjoys attending nursery.
The routine is great and the outside space is not found at many nurseries.
Her development is great and Rainbow staff deserve some credit for their part in this.
Communication
with parents is excellent.

My son has been at Rainbow for 18 months now and enjoys it very much. After a difficult start for him (lots of separation anxiety), the staff at Rainbow were fantastic, very supportive and helped him and I through it. Couldn't praise them enough.

My son is in Cygnets 1. My son absolutely loves Cygnets and I feel it's the best class he has ever been in and the staff there are all so caring and friendly. He has progressed huge amounts from his speech to his confidence to his ability to communicate and engage with other children without being hesitant.
His main key worker is fabulous and always has a bright, bubbly and enormous personality which my son thrives off and although he may play me in the mornings, he absolutely loves going and seeing her. Two other ladies are also fabulous and I haven't got 1 bad word to say about any of them. Massive appreciation to the girls in Cygnets, it's not an easy job to do but to see your child develop and be so content with them makes you happy and comfortable leaving them. Thank you girls.

Rainbow nursery is always friendly and helpful when the office is contacted.


The class staff are amazing. They love the children and the children love them. They know the children well and encourage them to try and do new things. I know my child feels safe and comfortable and trusts their key

worker and all class staff. He has been challenged to learn and try new things physically.

We love this place!
Both of my children have been to this nursery over the last 7 years.
The key workers are so caring and enthusiastic and always ready with a cuddle if needed.
The space the children have is so vast and varied (allotments, play areas, sandpit, maze and farm!)
We honestly couldn’t
ask for a better place for our children to be!

Both of my children have attended Rainbow Nursery and we have been really happy with the care they’ve received.
The staff at Rainbow are fantastic and they ensure that the children are happy and have a range of experiences.
The grounds are a real plus - there is so much to do outside and the staff
really make the most of this.
My daughter is totally ready to start school in September, thanks to the excellent learning she’s done at Rainbow.

Staff is amazing. Caring and extremely well trained and helpful. My daughter loves all her teachers. They helped her so much to settle in. She is full time and she has grown up so much the past months and I believe it is also due to the nursery staff. Highly recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has been at Rainbow for 2 and a half years and we are delighted with the quality of care she receives and the development she has shown in her time there. She loves going to nursery and I cannot rate the staff highly enough, they are absolutely fantastic. The nursery itself is set in beautiful
grounds giving the children so much space to go outside every day and explore. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Rainbow.

My son has been at Rainbow Nursery for 6 months and adores it. The nursery facilities are fantastic and the team leader and the team in Tulips take great care of him. The activities keep him stimulated, he loves messy play, visiting the farm and exploring the grounds.
The nursery staff have the balance
right between keeping the children safe but also allowing them to be independent and push the boundaries. There appears to be a low staff turnover so there is continuity of care. I am so glad that we decided to send him to Rainbow.

My daughter started here in April when she was 8 months old and she loves it! The room is large and spacious, the grounds substantial and the carers amazing. As I am sure many parents are, I was worried she would not settle in but she did so incredibly quickly thanks to the team. They've really helped
with her routine.


She loves the food she is given too. The menu is varied and includes plenty of fruit.


The team have really encouraged her development. This can be seen with her comprehension as well as her motor skills.

Rainbow Nursery is an outstanding nursery. My little girl was not thriving in her previous setting and was growing increasingly unhappy. As soon as we moved her to Rainbow, we saw a different child. She settled in very quickly and all the staff went out of their way to provide her with activities that
she was most interested in while also stimulating her to broaden her interests.
I am truly confident that she is loved, well cared for and expertly guided. In my 14 years as a parent and 24 as an auntie, I have never seen such a loving and stimulating environment as what you will find at Rainbow. The outdoor facilities are outstanding and the children have the chance to really run around and experience different colours, smells and textures in a safe environment. Indoors, it is a pleasure to see children cleaning up after themselves and helping each other at such a young age. Children are not kept in a room all day. They go outside most days and go to the kitchen for cooking activities.

Amazing nursery. We joined from recommendation and have enjoyed every moment of it. We are sad that only one year is left! Cygnets are the most amazing team. The lady in Birds is the most loving and is fantastic at keeping the children happy. Management is so well organised and make an effort to remember

Our two daughters both spent around two years in Rainbow Nursery. They have been in different classrooms and most of the carers are very friendly and caring. The management team is very helpful and works efficiently. What my children love the most is its outside space, including big play areas and farm
with lots of animals. Inevitably they often got messy but they had great fun.
Through their stay they have made good relationships with the key carers and learned sharing with friends, taking turns, caring for others, being more independent and getting ready for big school. A huge thank you to all at Rainbow Nursery for your great help! We will miss you so much!
