Rainbow Day Nursery & Pre-School

All three of my children have attended Rainbow Day Nursery and we could not have been happier with the care they have received. Our youngest is in her final year, and we are going to be so sad to be leaving the Rainbow family. The outdoor space and facilities speak for themselves, but what you won't see on a visit is just how caring the key carers are. My child is known and loved by all the people who take care of her, including the managers (who must have to memorise hundreds of children's names). She has such a strong bond with her key carers and others in her room. This is reassuring when you have to leave your small child in someone else's care! She gets the perfect balance of play, creativity, physical activity, and structure. We know from our previous two children that Rainbow prepares children well for school. Also, the attention to detail and the procedures put in place for Covid times have been excellent. We are completely confident in Rainbow's leadership. Thank you, Rainbow!

My three children attend the nursery and have done so since they were 13 months. It’s a very sociable loving environment and the facilities continue to expand and improve for the benefit of the children.

Rainbow's communication is very good and always feel confident I know how what's going on in the nursery, what's coming up etc. So very happy I chose this nursery my daughter and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I have my second child at Rainbow now and the experience it just as good as when my first born went there. Excellent leadership who I feel genuinely care and are always looking for ways to keep fresh, plus the grounds and facilities are amazing.

Bearing in mind the current COVID climate and amount of change, anxiety and nervousness, Rainbow have been informative, clear on instructions yet completely focused on keeping the experience fun and pleasant for the children - a great job under extremely challenging circumstances.

Great nursery, my son loves it and seems to be learning so much. I feel comfortable leaving my son there knowing he is in great hands and that he will have a day filled with fun and games, whilst learning too.

This is such a wonderful nursery. The staff are incredibly thoughtful and care so much about the wellbeing of the children they care for. Activities are fun and interesting even though my daughter is only seven months old. The reason I would - and have - recommended Rainbow to so many friends is the brilliant outdoor facilities. I love that, while I'm working, my baby is off to the farm with her friends, enjoying the fresh air. I can only imagine this will become more and more valuable as she grows through Rainbow. The frequent emails from the management team about everything from Covid protocols to local roadworks which may cause an inconvenience make you feel part of a really cared-about community. I also think it is excellent value for money compared to other local facilities.

It’s a safe, warm and fun-loving environment and I can’t imagine sending my daughter anywhere else.

Rainbow is a fantastic nursery! All the staff are fantastic and the setting is incredible. Our son has thrived since starting here in September 2020. The nursery carers are exceptional and the management team's communication to parents is top-notch. I'm so happy we chose this nursery for our child.

I'm so happy with this nursery, and anyone looking for a day nursery for their child should definitely look at Rainbows.

My son has been attending Rainbow nursery since he turned 1, so has been there for nearly 4 years now. My younger son has also attended for the last 18 months. I am very happy with Rainbow and the quality of care my little ones receive. All the different carers they have had over the year groups have been amazing. The grounds are excellent, and the kids always seem to have had great days when I collect them. There are many activities, games, toys, messy play, allotments, the farm...every day is an adventure at Rainbow! The way that they have dealt with COVID has been brilliant. Keeping parents well informed and putting procedures in place to get the little ones back to nursery in a safe and efficient manner. Both of my little ones have settled back in amazingly well, which is a testament to how they feel about the nursery.

Rainbow is the most perfect nursery setting, and we have been so lucky to have our daughter there. The staff are absolutely fantastic, and the handling of everything during the pandemic has been perfect.

Big thank you to the Rainbow team who accommodated my little one during the COVID crisis. My 11-month-old adjusted super quick and adores all the girls at Rainbows. Lovely staff, beautiful nursery with large spaces and excellent response to all of our concerns. Highly recommend!

My son has been attending Rainbow since 2018 and is 3 years old. My twin girls who are 10 months have just started.

I am a key worker and have returned to work as my maternity leave has finished. Returning to work after maternity leave is an anxious time but with the current climate, it brings with it so many more anxieties. Not only were the girls going for the first time, my son had not been for 6 weeks.

We have always been happy with Rainbow but the way they have been during this period of time has only confirmed that they are a fantastic nursery. All of the girls working there are wonderful, welcoming and show such care for all the children. I was worried that no one would ever be able to tell my twin girls apart and they’d become one person, that just has not happened and they are very much individuals.

It has provided us with an element of normal back into our lives in such a strange time.

My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed her time at Rainbow Day Nursery and truly enjoys going in every day. After a tearful first few weeks, my daughter now happily walks in and waves me goodbye excited to see what exciting new things she will do each day. Could not recommend Rainbow Day Nursery enough.

We moved our son to Rainbows in Lyne after a bad experience with another nursery and reading great reviews for Rainbows. From day one, we saw a great improvement in our son's behaviour and attitude. This was all down to the great, kind, caring and dedicated staff who really helped with his happiness and wellbeing. I can't speak highly enough of all the staff and especially the Manager. They are constantly thinking of new ideas to educate and entertain the children.
