Rainbow Day Nursery & Pre-School provides an exceptional environment and a wonderful quality of care and development for babies and young children from three months up to five years of age. It is their aim to ensure that children 'graduate' to Big School having grown into confident, caring, independent people who are prepared in every way for the next stage of life's learning journey.

Rainbow children enjoy five acres of gardens including nine well-equipped, enclosed, all-weather playgrounds, their own animal sanctuary, galleon, Teletubby hill, allotments, and a children's maze. They also have a double-decker bus, a farm classroom and Forest School sessions are run everyday whatever the weather.

A highly qualified team of staff draw upon a huge range of knowledge, experience and resources to ensure that the children get the maximum learning and development out of enjoying themselves, playing and having fun.

Our daughter attended Rainbows from 9months old and she is only leaving due to us moving out of the area. We have had a wonderful experience at Rainbows from Babies Room up to Discovers. She skips off out of my arms everyday, the carers are very devoted and have great connections with the children.
I particularly like that the children spend a lot of time outside and there are many different areas to explore. The meals are varied and my daughter will often eat meals at nursery she won't even try at home. We are very sad to be leaving Rainbows, we had our names down before our daughter was even born because we'd had such good recommendations from friends.

Choosing this nursery for my son was without doubt the best decision I could have made for his early years. From the very beginning, the warmth and professionalism of the staff gave me total confidence. Every teacher and carer in each class has been exceptional - patient, attentive, and always willing
to go the extra mile to support the children's needs and development. The facilities here are outstanding, far beyond what I expected. Everything is designed with the children's well-being and growth in mind, from safe and engaging play areas to stimulating learning spaces. It is clear that a huge amount of thought has gone into creating an environment where children can thrive, feel secure, and enjoy coming in each day. What has impressed me most is the way this nursery has helped to mould my son's personality and character. He has become more confident, independent, and curious, with a genuine love for learning and exploring.

My daughter has recently finished at Rainbows and I highly recommend this nursery to anyone who has an opportunity to go. My daughter absolutely flourished at Rainbows, especially her year in Voyagers 1. The Nursery Team are all amazing. The grounds are fantastic there are so many things for the kids
to do all day, the staff try to keep the kids outside as much as possible. There is a farm, tree climbing lessons, forest school, allotments, a maze, telly tubby hills, a bus for yoga; it is endless. The fees are no doubt higher than other places but it is definitely worth the money. On every drop off and pick up you are greeted with big smiles from real people. We will all miss Rainbows very much!

The member of staff in Toddler have been fantastic with the settle in of my 1,5 old who started at Rainbow when he was 1 years old. He loves coming to Rainbow, the staff member is kind and firm with him. I get a great extensive daily feedback and they always report if there is something that we need
to work on and what activities he enjoyed doing. His big brother is in Explorers with his keycarer, she has been fantastic in helping him with the speech and communication as we a speaking tri-linguar at home. He has now catched up and are thriving. I cannot recommend Rainbow enough. I appreciate the flexibility with drop off and pick up, along with adhoc days. It has helped a lot as my family lives abroad. A star to another staff member (previously in Discoverers) and another staff member (previously in Toddlers), who helped my child thrive and love Rainbow.

What a wonderful nursery. Our little one has just 'graduated' after spending three years at Rainbow. The facilities are fantastic, they have so much outdoor space to play, learn and develop and the animals are the icing on the cake!


Every week our little one would come home and demonstrate something

new he's learnt or understood from the excellent structured learning they offer at Rainbow.


He's leaving Rainbow fully ready for school in September and we're eternally grateful for the wonderful team in the Voyagers 1 room along with all the staff we've interacted with over the years.

A dream of a nursery with huge grounds and animals for the children to see and learn about.
Both my daughters have gone here starting from 2019 and most of the staff have been wonderful.
They listen to feedback and made sweeping changes.
Our vegetarian daughter was given a lot of processed meat
substitute's early on and when we raised this they were quick to change the menus to more whole foods.
Highly recommend this Nursery.

Our eldest daughter attends Rainbow, with our youngest due to start at the end of July. I would definitely recommend the Nursery, the setting is faultless, and the teaching staff so caring, loving and enthusiastic. The food is great too, with children encouraged to try new things. In terms of teaching
and education, the staff teach through play and activities so the children learn new things each week. The only slightly negative point I would say is the fees, they are quite high compared with other nurseries, but in this case I do believe it is a superior service, which comes at a cost.

Rainbow is an incredible nursery full of amazing, energetic and caring staff. My daughter has developed so well here and is happy every day she comes in. They follow the curriculum well for EYFS but also have amazing grounds, a farm and forest school. My daughter loves animals as we have a dog at home
but also I'm sure this love has developed from visiting the farm.

I cannot speak more highly of the experience we have had and continue to have with Rainbow. The staff are friendly, professional, and really skilled in supporting young children make progress. The facilities are excellent and there is a clear plan for improvements which is exciting. Their commitment
to the outdoors and the process of learning aligns so well with our family's ethos. We wouldn't choose anywhere else!

I have been so impressed with my experience at Rainbow so far. The staff have been amazing at helping my little one in all ways and I can see the day to day development of which the carers have assisted in. They are all great with the kids and create such a welcoming trusting environment
The space
the nursery is situated in is also brilliant. I love the grounds and the animals there which provide great experiences
It has also been great around how accommodating the management have been in making sure the kids have the best experience possible, for example making sure kids in friendship groups stay together as they transition up classes

Both of my children go to Rainbow, and we've been really happy with the experience. My eldest is moving on to school in September, and they've really helped her feel ready and excited for the next step. The outdoor space is fantastic-so much room for them to run around and explore-and the food options
are great too. The staff are always friendly and genuinely care about the kids. We feel lucky to have found such a warm and supportive place!

Such a wonderful nursery and environment for children. The carers are all so welcoming and friendly. The outside space is amazing with the animals and the range of activities. My daughter has been attending Rainbows Nursery for the past two years and we couldn't be happier with our decision. The staff are truly exceptional. She has moved through four different rooms during her time there and we've been consistently impressed and comforted by the care and dedication of every
team.


It's such a reassuring feeling to drop her off three days a week knowing she's in a nurturing, engaging, and supportive environment. The outdoor space is outstanding, especially the forest school, which she absolutely adores. Her confidence has grown so much and she's formed wonderful friendships along the way.


I genuinely believe Rainbows has given her the best possible start and will have her well prepared for school. I honestly can't think of a single negative thing to say. If you're considering sending your child here, do it. You won't regret it.

Our son is thriving at Rainbow, both emotionally and physically. The staff are incredible and are such wonderful people, the grounds and facilities are better than any nursery in the area. My Son has been attending this Nursery from the age of 14 months and is on the verge of leaving in August.


From the very start he was made welcome and comfortable. He has built bonds with the Key workers in each room he's been in and his progression has been amazing. I can't rate this nursery any

higher. He's loved every minute being here.
