Rainbow Day Nursery & Pre-School

As an NHS worker with unpredictable hours, the opening times and flexibility was a big factor in me choosing Rainbow. Care is provided from 7.30-18.30 and the team were very understanding on days where we were running a bit late. A special mention should also go to how they managed operations during the pandemic - remaining open for frontline workers and being incredibly flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances.

We would definitely recommend Rainbow.

I am very grateful as I could see he was learning through play. Their outdoor space is wonderful and very well used. Rainbow is always looking for improving any aspects of the nursery.

Both my children have gone to Rainbow and they have created the best memories. They were looked after as if they were their own. The staff are amazing, the space and atmosphere are wonderful. We have had the best service from everyone at Rainbow.

I couldn't recommend Rainbow highly enough. It's such a lovely place and you can feel the happy atmosphere as soon as you walk in. The staff are so friendly and caring - my son formed a lovely relationship with his nursery teachers. The outside space is amazing and I love that they play outside every day, in all weathers! Rainbow offers a fantastic range of activities that were stimulating for my son and I feel prepared him well for school. All in all, Rainbow is a real gem and I only wish my son could have gone there for longer.

Although it is a big nursery, it feels like a family and we are incredibly sad to be leaving Rainbow Day Nursery but are also looking forward to our youngest son starting next year where I have no doubt he will be loved and supported like our eldest son has been.

A great nursery that has a very well managed structure and loyal focused and caring staff. Our son has been supported to grow and shine to gain his own independence while having fun and learning ready for school.

Cannot recommend this nursery highly enough! The staff are wonderful and you couldn’t ask for better grounds and facilities. Our toddler is so happy here. My only complaint would be that he can’t stay there until he’s 18!

Rainbow Nursery in Lyne is a great childcare provider. My daughter has been with them since she was 14 months old and while she will be leaving for Reception next year, I feel she has collected such an abundance of fantastic experiences, memories and skills and made friends with children and staff alike while progressing from room to room. Facilities and outdoor space (incl. animal farm, maze, a few separate playgrounds, climbing trees, double-decker bus, etc.) are second to none in the area. The staff are very friendly, welcoming and caring and while I work full time, it is great to see the little one in good hands and receive at the end of her day a full debrief. 2020 has been a tough year with Covid but the team at Rainbow took a very responsible, safe and proactive approach with regular and open communication, resource sharing and even a Zoom conference call. I have all confidence they are the best setting out there in the Chertsey area, highly recommend it!

My daughter has been at Rainbow Nursery for 18 months and she loves it so much. It makes it so easy to leave her as I know she has a great day. All the staff and management there have been amazing. They are all so welcoming and very helpful. The grounds are beautiful with their own animals on site which I think is lovely. Plenty of outdoor space for the children to run around and enjoy themselves. My daughter has learnt so much being at Rainbow and her little sister has just joined her there and is loving it too. I would highly recommend Rainbow.

My son moved to Rainbows having been at a different nursery, where I was unhappy and concerned about the care of my child (it was rated outstanding at the time), several children moved. The standard in comparison is incredible, the grounds and facilities are wonderful (maze, farm, trees to climb, play areas etc) and speak for themselves but it is the care and attention that each child gets from the keyworkers that go beyond what I have seen elsewhere. The attention to detail and the care that has been taken during covid has been excellent. It does feel like a community especially with the level of communication that we get from the management team. Swapping nurseries is the best thing I could have done for my son and I would not hesitate to recommend Rainbows to any parent as a truly unique and special place.

The cleanliness of the rooms, toys and facilities has notably increased which I am thankful for and I hope this is continued into the future.

All three of my children have attended Rainbow Day Nursery and we could not have been happier with the care they have received. Our youngest is in her final year, and we are going to be so sad to be leaving the Rainbow family. The outdoor space and facilities speak for themselves, but what you won't see on a visit is just how caring the key carers are. My child is known and loved by all the people who take care of her, including the managers (who must have to memorise hundreds of children's names). She has such a strong bond with her key carers and others in her room. This is reassuring when you have to leave your small child in someone else's care! She gets the perfect balance of play, creativity, physical activity, and structure. We know from our previous two children that Rainbow prepares children well for school. Also, the attention to detail and the procedures put in place for Covid times have been excellent. We are completely confident in Rainbow's leadership. Thank you, Rainbow!

My three children attend the nursery and have done so since they were 13 months. It’s a very sociable loving environment and the facilities continue to expand and improve for the benefit of the children.

Rainbow's communication is very good and always feel confident I know how what's going on in the nursery, what's coming up etc. So very happy I chose this nursery my daughter and would highly recommend it to anyone.

I have my second child at Rainbow now and the experience it just as good as when my first born went there. Excellent leadership who I feel genuinely care and are always looking for ways to keep fresh, plus the grounds and facilities are amazing.

Bearing in mind the current COVID climate and amount of change, anxiety and nervousness, Rainbow have been informative, clear on instructions yet completely focused on keeping the experience fun and pleasant for the children - a great job under extremely challenging circumstances.

Great nursery, my son loves it and seems to be learning so much. I feel comfortable leaving my son there knowing he is in great hands and that he will have a day filled with fun and games, whilst learning too.

This is such a wonderful nursery. The staff are incredibly thoughtful and care so much about the wellbeing of the children they care for. Activities are fun and interesting even though my daughter is only seven months old. The reason I would - and have - recommended Rainbow to so many friends is the brilliant outdoor facilities. I love that, while I'm working, my baby is off to the farm with her friends, enjoying the fresh air. I can only imagine this will become more and more valuable as she grows through Rainbow. The frequent emails from the management team about everything from Covid protocols to local roadworks which may cause an inconvenience make you feel part of a really cared-about community. I also think it is excellent value for money compared to other local facilities.
