Rainbow Day Nursery & Pre-School provides an exceptional environment and a wonderful quality of care and development for babies and young children from three months up to five years of age. It is their aim to ensure that children 'graduate' to Big School having grown into confident, caring, independent people who are prepared in every way for the next stage of life's learning journey.

Rainbow children enjoy five acres of gardens including nine well-equipped, enclosed, all-weather playgrounds, their own animal sanctuary, galleon, Teletubby hill, allotments, and a children's maze. They also have a double-decker bus, a farm classroom and Forest School sessions are run everyday whatever the weather.

A highly qualified team of staff draw upon a huge range of knowledge, experience and resources to ensure that the children get the maximum learning and development out of enjoying themselves, playing and having fun.

Rainbow Day Nursery & Pre-School has provided our child a stellar foundation. Since before she could even talk, the staff have nurtured and supported her with loving diligence, joy, professionalism, and kindness. The gorgeous school (playful facilities, farm, bus and garden) all speaks for itself. But
it is our daughter's happiness going to Rainbow every single weekday morning, and her nonstop excited chatter about teachers and friends (and tea!) all the way home that speaks for the staff. Rainbow's systems, safeguarding, early years education and parent communication are just fantastic! She is so well prepared for primary school.

This nursery is an excellent nursery with wonderful caring staff. It’s one of a kind! I will be forever grateful to all of the staff there. My son has come on leaps and bounds in the last year or so. Such a friendly environment.

Our little girl suffers from mobility issues which limits her ability to stand and walk, yet the staff have been fantastic since day 1. The care and attention they give to her is outstanding, they go above and beyond on a daily basis to provide everything she needs to support her physical development.
The staff took it upon themselves to take part in her physiotherapy sessions so they could continue her exercises at nursery. When she lost weight due to illness, they tried all they could to help encourage her to feed. When she struggled to eat independently they purchased special cutlery just for her. The list goes on, and that's just in relation to her mobility. She was recently recognised as a bright baby, which they identified and sent her for a referral. They are actively nurturing this by bringing in older toys just for her and encouraging more advanced play with numbers and letters. It honestly makes me quite emotional when I think about how much they do for her. Thank you Rainbow Day Nursery & Pre-School

Our daughter has been at Rainbow Day Nursery & Pre-School since she was 7 months, she is now almost 4 and we can’t believe where the time has gone. Rainbow is just the most amazing nursery from the staff to the incredible grounds including farm animals, a pirates ship and a maze, it’s truly unique.
We are provided with regular feedback on our daughter's progress and we have seen her develop way beyond what we could of expected. Thank you Rainbow you are the best.

Really great nursery with the most amazing outdoor space. All staff that I have come in contact with have been great and really help support my toddler with his learning. He is clearly very comfortable being there and has such fun. It’s really great that with it being such a large nursery, there are
lots of different classes which means they can tailor support to the age groups.
The only thing I would like to see that I know other nurseries do is an app that lets me know what my child has done that day, what he has eaten, etc. and provide photo updates. At the moment we just get verbal handovers.

I have 2 sons at Rainbow (since September 2022). I honestly couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. The staff are absolutely amazing, my boys have been so happy at Rainbow, never have I had to drop them off crying or pick up (which they did at their last nursery).
Everyone knows everyone, to the carers,
reception staff, gardeners and the chefs! It’s like a family. Our favourite part is that they are outside 80% of the time - no matter what the weather! The space they have is incredible. Thank you every one!

I am so pleased we chose Rainbow Day Nursery & Pre-School for our daughter. She started when she was 8 months old and is nearly 2 now so I am confident I can provide an honest review.
The nursery is kept clean and the rooms are all specifically built out for the different age groups and help to promote
play, curiosity and interaction. We are especially pleased that Rainbow has a great outdoor space with animals. My daughter loves animals and the fact that she can visit them on a daily basis is brilliant. I am in fact jealous. They have thought out the outdoor space with as much care as the inside, all age appropriate spaces with fun activities.
My biggest praise is for the carers they are attentive, caring, playful and give useful/informative insights. I am able to leave my daughter in their care with confidence that she will be treated with outmost care and respect.

We have had two children attend Rainbow almost consecutively since 2017. I love the outdoor space they have available and the different rooms for age groups. Our children have excelled there, and the staff are very friendly and genuinely caring. They are constantly investing in new equipment and developing
ideas to entertain and assist learning opportunities for the children. My only thoughts for areas of improvement would be to embrace more technology like an app, in the way daily and EYFS feedback is provided.

My daughter attended Rainbow Nursery for three years before going to school and absolutely loved it. The staff there are amazing, kind, caring, nurturing, hard working, and very dedicated to the children! They have shown me and my child love and respect and the the management have always been very supportive.
Their outside space is wonderful and very big, lots of animals for the children in their own little farm. This place is absolutely the best nursery for children to grow and develop!

My son attended Rainbow for 3.5 years. In every room, he was so well cared for and built close relationships with all the carers. It was great to be able to be with similar-age children as he progressed through the different rooms. The facilities available are fantastic, and the stories of going to
the allotments, to the farm, the pirate ship, and in the bus that came home each day were brilliant - my son loved the outdoor spaces, and Rainbow was able to provide so many different experiences just outside the classroom, and they would ensure they were out there as much as possible (welly boots a must!). I thought the final year he was there, in 'voyagers', was a great way to transition the children to school, and my son has benefited from this when settling in smoothly at school.
The management area was very communicative and understanding; this was seen exceptionally through the pandemic when it must have been such a tough time to run the nursery.

My daughter left the nursery in August to go to primary school. She absolutely loved her time there and would ask most weekends if it was a nursery day today. Her preschool teachers genuinely had an amazing impact on her vocabulary, confidence and overall happiness in her early years. She will miss
them greatly, and we would definitely recommend the grounds and resources that Rainbow has to offer. See you again, hopefully.

We met a family on a plane to Crete, who recommended Rainbow Nursery in Lyne before we relocated to Laleham Village in the UK in 2019. Even though Rainbow Nursery was a bit of a drive from us, we fell in love with it as soon as we saw it.
We couldn't have picked a better nursery or asked for better
care for our sons. Our boys had an incredible experience at Rainbow, and this was down to the standard of care, learning, facilities, and amazing staff and management. It is with a heavy heart that we had to say farewell this September when our youngest started school. We will always have fond memories and will be forever grateful for the love and care our boys got from the Rainbow family! Would highly recommend this nursery to anyone moving into the area.

My daughter absolutely loved her time at Rainbow Day Nursery. She especially loved the outdoor space, which is second to none. She loved the animals and all of the different outdoor areas. In summer, she was always coming home with fruits and vegetables that she had picked from the allotment. The teachers
she had were amazing and were great at giving her activities that met her intellect level and kept her engaged. She learnt a lot, especially in her last year at Rainbow.

My daughter spent 2.5 wonderful years at Rainbow, and I couldn't rate this nursery higher. All the room staff were so caring and kind with genuine love and dedication for all the children in their classes. Attending during the pandemic, the management team were exemplary in their communication and ability
to navigate the continuous changes and challenges. Truly sad to leave Rainbow behind when my daughter started school. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.

My daughter started the babies room at eleven months back in 2019, she instantly loved it and so did I. The care for her was and has been impeccable. At nearly four years old I cried as she had her last day due to us moving house. She didn't as she's turned into a confident little person due to the
help of the Rainbow family. Looking back at the photos makes me laugh as each day she had come home exhausted, covered in mud and happy! Exactly how a child should. Thank you, Rainbows.

Our daughter attended Rainbow Day Nursery & Pre-School from about 10 months, and we have had the most wonderful experience at Rainbow. She is now turning 2 and we are moving out of area and have to take her out with such a heavy heart (especially now that we are comparing with other nurseries-the standard
of care, facilities, and even costs are so so much better. We can't find anything quite like it). Management is efficient and comes back to you quite quickly. The grounds are big and spacious, they have a little farm with a pony, their own double decker bus and a tree house. I love their outdoor ethos. Our daughter literally loves going into a nursery, and it makes us happy seeing how much she enjoys it.

Both my children attended this nursery and we are extremely happy with the care our children received. Staff are so nurturing and caring to all the kids. The nursery provided me with a tremendous amount of support with our youngest, who struggled socially after months of lockdown and shielding. After
returning to nursery, staff helped with his delayed speech by putting in a support plan and providing additional support and gave me good strategies to deal with bad behaviour, which were implemented at home and at school for consistency.
The careful management by staff meant the children stayed happy and healthy during the pandemic with extra cleaning regimes.
They have great class structure even for early years development and amazing facilities, with plenty of well thought out activities; different every day.
Most importantly of all the carers of our children were so personable and my kids loved them all to bits.
Thank you so much for all your years of providing great service!
