Rainbow Day Nursery & Pre-School

My little boy started at Rainbows at 13 months, the carers were amazing at settling him into the class and ensuring the transition was smooth. He absolutely loves it at Rainbows, the outside facilities are incredible, and he loves going to visit the animals in the farm and exploring the outdoors whatever the weather. His development over the past 2 months has been amazing to watch and he always returns home so happy. I could not recommend Rainbows enough both for the incredible staff and beautiful facilities they offer.

The facilities are excellent and the staff looks after the kids so well, with many fun activities. Even when further care is needed, the management team links you up with the relevant expertise externally to support your child's development

My daughter attended Rainbow Nursery from 14 months until she left to start Primary School. We couldn't be happier with the care and kindness she received from the staff there every day. She was well looked after, well educated, and well fed. The grounds and opportunities available to the children are above those expected. Thank you all!

I was sad when my eldest left to go to school, but they were totally ready because of their great experience at Rainbow. I will be even more sad when my youngest leaves.

A wonderful and amazing nursery, we could not have asked for a better place to help us nurture and grow our child. My son started at Rainbow when he was 18 months old, it was an emotional day when he started since he was a lockdown baby. From the tears on day one to the tears on his last day we had nothing but exceptional support from first-time parents. The support we received to enable us to help our child grow to be such an independent and rounded child is something I feel was only achievable due to the staff here. They managed his growth, worked with us to focus on specific areas where our son needed help, and assisted in advising us on how to help him better at home. The food our child received at the nursery was fresh and healthy, not once did my child complain about the food or come home hungry. With the addition of the great parking facilities onsite, it made it very safe and easy to get our child in daily. I would definitely recommend this nursery to everyone.

Best choice we ever made in sending our kids to Rainbows, the staff have been incredible - so much so we've already had to make two return trips for the kids to see the staff they missed since starting school! Add in the grounds, including everything from forest school areas to pirate ships + a few animals - I feel like school will never quite compare! Thank you so much Rainbows!

I will probably cry when my son leaves Rainbows. For the staff and children, there are wonderful. He's made friends he will probably stay in touch with forever. The staff are great and so amazing with the children. They are so lucky to have amazing grounds and what they have done with them is fantastic. They really try to do everything for the children. I love that they have animals and now have a forest school! There have been so many times my son has wanted to stay and not come home on pick-ups and that is because of the wonderful teachers he's had. Discoverers 1 and Voyagers 3 he will never forget you. The things he comes home knowing and I would never think teaching him is phenomenal. It's been wonderful to watch him grow into a kind, curious and adventurous young man at Rainbows.

My son has attended Rainbow since he was 11 months old. He will be leaving in August to start school in September and I truly believe his readiness for school is all thanks to Rainbow. We love everything about it. The staff are amazing and my son loves them. He is happy to go and has made so many friends, it feels like a little community and the support the staff offer not just the children, but the grown-ups too is second to none. The facilities are amazing and they spend so much time outside. Every day is different, my son, in particular, loves forest school. He has learnt so much since he has been there and I also credit them for the fact that he eats everything, no fussy eater here! Food variety is great. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who makes up the Rainbow family, we will miss it so much in September but will always have fond memories of our time with you all.

An excellent nursery. My daughter struggled to settle when she joined at 2 and a half years old but the staff were so patient and caring and she loves it now. She has made a great group of friends there and I feel reassured and happy that my son will be attending nursery in the summer next year.

The expansive outdoor space and activities are great too.

The carers are so sweet and warm with him, and yet always fun and engage him in all different kinds of activities and play. From creative artistic activities, song and dance, to exploring the farm or going to Tubby Hill, he’s so happy and content. He has made such strong bonds and talks of all his carers often at home, especially a staff member in Discoverers whom he admires greatly. Thank you all, we have the happiest little boy and you all play a key role in that.

We are extremely happy with having chosen Rainbow for our child. The facilities indoors and outdoors is second to none and the outdoor space is incredible, truly head and shoulders above any other nursery we have seen. The staff are kind and attentive and take great care with the children. We highly recommend this nursery to everyone!

I can not recommend Rainbow Nursery enough. The staff have been amazing for our son. We viewed a number of places before Rainbow and immediately felt that this was the best place for him. He has some extra needs and they have truly supported not just him but us as parents. Our son runs in each morning and is so happy with his classmates and staff. We are so glad we were recommended to view when we did. Thank you for everything you do for our son to make him feel valued and supported.

My two sons attended Rainbow from babies and had the most nourishing and wonderful time. The setting speaks for itself and was enjoyed by my boys throughout every season! The staff are absolutely wonderful and always welcomed us with open arms - caring, kind and happy, come rain or shine. I cannot recommend this place enough. We miss it so much.

Rainbow Day Nursery has been a wonderful place for my daughter to grow herself, make new friends and learn from her teachers and peers. Outdoor facilities and range of activities are their main strengths, amongst the diverse and large staff. The team fairly discipline children who misbehave and provide honest feedback on a daily basis amongst bi-annual review meetings. The range of food and drinks provided is fair although there is room for improvement. We'd like to thank the whole team for their kindness and support!

All of the staff are lovely and have got to know our daughter really well. I feel happy when I drop her off in the mornings and can't wait to hear about her day when I pick her up!

Rainbow Day Nursery has been an excellent environment for our son. He has been encouraged to learn and have fun and the staff have been attentive, kind and helped him develop very well. Daily feedback and regular reviews of progress and behaviour have helped us respond to any issues rapidly and effectively. It should be noted that the Rainbow management and the childcare staff responded phenomenally well to Covid 19 and managed to navigate the shifting landscape of that time, a testament to their strong team. The nursery buildings and grounds are unmatched in the local area and provide a fantastic opportunity for children to experience a variety of things to help their physical, mental and emotional development. Every day we hear reports of exciting and meaningful activities. Our experience overall has been excellent and we would recommend Rainbow without hesitation. Our oldest child is 'graduating' soon and our youngest just started in the babies room. More please!

I have two girls going to Rainbow Day Nursery since last year. I love the nursery. The outdoor facilities are excellent. The staff are warm and friendly and my girls are comfortable with their keyworker, as well as the other staff too. They have a lot of different rooms for different age groups and excellent learning. I have seen them grow more confident, make friends, sing rhymes and enjoy messy play. They always look forward to going to the nursery and love chatting about their day and lovely teachers. I would highly recommend Rainbow Day Nursery to anyone.

My daughter is at Rainbow Day Nursery and she is very happy. I spent a long time looking at all the nurseries and we loved this one so much we were willing to be put on the wait list and restructure our work diaries until it was free. It was worth the wait. You read reviews, you visit the premises and speak to staff and you get anecdotal evidence, but what really matters is your own experience, which is unique. The facilities are amazing, but that would be unimportant if it was not for the staff and the way it is run. We are extremely happy with it. Our daughter is very happy and well fed. She absolutely adores being there and the staff are incredibly kind, caring and nurturing. I was hesitant only because they didn't have an app, which I really wanted. But, you can call whenever you want, watch the CCTV and they give a detailed breakdown at the end of each day and paper notes so I feel sated, although I would still like the app. I could not recommend it enough!
