Rainbow Day Nursery & Pre-School provides an exceptional environment and a wonderful quality of care and development for babies and young children from three months up to five years of age. It is their aim to ensure that children 'graduate' to Big School having grown into confident, caring, independent people who are prepared in every way for the next stage of life's learning journey.

Rainbow children enjoy five acres of gardens including nine well-equipped, enclosed, all-weather playgrounds, their own animal sanctuary, galleon, Teletubby hill, allotments, and a children's maze. They also have a double-decker bus, a farm classroom and Forest School sessions are run everyday whatever the weather.

A highly qualified team of staff draw upon a huge range of knowledge, experience and resources to ensure that the children get the maximum learning and development out of enjoying themselves, playing and having fun.

Everyone at Rainbow is just so lovely. My son loves being there. They are so caring and kind. The teaching is spot on and they really do teach to be great all-rounders and the perfect place to prepare for school. The facilities are exceptional and it's very rare to find the amount of outside space they
have in many nurseries. Just such a fun nurturing place.

This nursery came highly recommended by two other mums to me, and I am so glad I chose Rainbow for my daughter. Rainbow is like no other nursery - they have an animal farm on the premises and have amazing grounds for children to be children. I love how they emphasize they are providing a childhood experience,
not just a nursery service! My family and I have been through some tough times recently and everyone from the key carers to management, was so supportive and caring! My daughter always has the biggest smile when she sees the nursery in the morning - what more do you want than your child safe and happy! The ladies who have looked after my daughter in the Wobblers and Toddlers room have been truly amazing. 10/10!

The staff are lovely, and the children are always happy to be dropped off and if anything don't want to leave.
Excellent facilities, good, clear, regular communication.
Love that children have lots of outdoor space to play, makes it really stand out from other nearby nurseries.

Rainbow has been absolutely fantastic over the last year for our little boy. He has absolutely thrived in every way since joining and is so excited to go to nursery.
The care received from all staff across rooms has been exceptional, and they so often go the extra mile to show the personal touch.

Driving through the gates onto the beautiful Rainbow Nursery with its vast fields, mazes, mini farm, pirate ship, and more I feel proud to have my daughter enrolled here.
Step inside and the magic begins, the calm and relaxed environment is reassuring and a testament to how incredible the staff are
at engaging the children.
The equipment, activities, and games are endless and of the highest quality. Phonics, baking, and forestry school are a few of the things my daughter loves the most.
The staff are utterly fantastic, they build the most incredible relationships with the children which is reflected clearly in the bonds and interactions.
They are always so positive, engaging, happy, and reassuring. Any slight problems are met with care and resolved immediately.
Rainbow makes the child and parents feel valued and important.
We have three top favourites staff members in particular and we are so lucky to have them. Rainbow is number 1 and I truly encourage and recommend it as your nursery of choice.

My little boy started at Rainbows at 13 months, the carers were amazing at settling him into the class and ensuring the transition was smooth. He absolutely loves it at Rainbows, the outside facilities are incredible, and he loves going to visit the animals in the farm and exploring the outdoors whatever
the weather. His development over the past 2 months has been amazing to watch and he always returns home so happy. I could not recommend Rainbows enough both for the incredible staff and beautiful facilities they offer.

This nursery ticks so many boxes, and if you are considering which nursery to send your child to, then look no further than Rainbow.
Both my son (who graduated in 2024) and daughter have been at this nursery, and the care, due diligence, and support offered to both exceed any and all expectations.
Every day is fun!
The team (frontline, support, and management) are so welcoming to the children on day one, and I am not lying when I say my kids never want to come home at the end of each day.
The facilities are excellent and the staff looks after the kids so well, with many fun activities. Even when further care is needed, the management team links you up with the relevant expertise externally to support your child's development

My daughter attended Rainbow Nursery from 14 months until she left to start Primary School. We couldn't be happier with the care and kindness she received from the staff there every day. She was well looked after, well educated, and well fed. The grounds and opportunities available to the children are

Absolutely superb nursery. To be honest I cannot fault it. Things I love about this nursery: 1) the classes are split by age group (up to 14 months, 14-19 months, 19-24 months, 2-3 years, 3 years to September of preschool year, preschool year). I think this is hugely beneficial to the children. 2) the
outdoor space is second to none; they have a maze, a farm with a range of animals, tree climbing, a forest school, and different areas to play. 3) the menu is nutritious. 4) the handover at the end of the day is great, they inform you how your children have got on throughout the day. 5) my youngest child requires some extra support and they have been amazing at providing that support to my child and also at providing me guidance and showing me the resources out there to help. 6) Any issues are dealt with quickly.
I was sad when my eldest left to go to school, but they were totally ready because of their great experience at Rainbow. I will be even more sad when my youngest leaves.

A wonderful and amazing nursery, we could not have asked for a better place to help us nurture and grow our child. My son started at Rainbow when he was 18 months old, it was an emotional day when he started since he was a lockdown baby. From the tears on day one to the tears on his last day we had
nothing but exceptional support from first-time parents. The support we received to enable us to help our child grow to be such an independent and rounded child is something I feel was only achievable due to the staff here. They managed his growth, worked with us to focus on specific areas where our son needed help, and assisted in advising us on how to help him better at home. The food our child received at the nursery was fresh and healthy, not once did my child complain about the food or come home hungry. With the addition of the great parking facilities onsite, it made it very safe and easy to get our child in daily. I would definitely recommend this nursery to everyone.

Best choice we ever made in sending our kids to Rainbows, the staff have been incredible - so much so we've already had to make two return trips for the kids to see the staff they missed since starting school! Add in the grounds, including everything from forest school areas to pirate ships + a few

I will probably cry when my son leaves Rainbows. For the staff and children, there are wonderful. He's made friends he will probably stay in touch with forever. The staff are great and so amazing with the children. They are so lucky to have amazing grounds and what they have done with them is fantastic.
They really try to do everything for the children. I love that they have animals and now have a forest school! There have been so many times my son has wanted to stay and not come home on pick-ups and that is because of the wonderful teachers he's had. Discoverers 1 and Voyagers 3 he will never forget you. The things he comes home knowing and I would never think teaching him is phenomenal. It's been wonderful to watch him grow into a kind, curious and adventurous young man at Rainbows.

My son has attended Rainbow since he was 11 months old. He will be leaving in August to start school in September and I truly believe his readiness for school is all thanks to Rainbow. We love everything about it. The staff are amazing and my son loves them. He is happy to go and has made so many friends,
it feels like a little community and the support the staff offer not just the children, but the grown-ups too is second to none. The facilities are amazing and they spend so much time outside. Every day is different, my son, in particular, loves forest school. He has learnt so much since he has been there and I also credit them for the fact that he eats everything, no fussy eater here! Food variety is great. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who makes up the Rainbow family, we will miss it so much in September but will always have fond memories of our time with you all.

An excellent nursery. My daughter struggled to settle when she joined at 2 and a half years old but the staff were so patient and caring and she loves it now. She has made a great group of friends there and I feel reassured and happy that my son will be attending nursery in the summer next year.

Rainbow Nursery is beyond brilliant! Right from potty training my child to making her time fun and engaging, the staff ensure children are happy - the most important factor in any child’s life.

Our son has been at Rainbow since August 2022, and honestly, he loves each day that he is there - sometimes he doesn’t want to go home!
The carers are so sweet and warm with him, and yet always fun and engage him in all different kinds of activities and play. From creative artistic activities, song
and dance, to exploring the farm or going to Tubby Hill, he’s so happy and content. He has made such strong bonds and talks of all his carers often at home, especially a staff member in Discoverers whom he admires greatly. Thank you all, we have the happiest little boy and you all play a key role in that.

I can not recommend Rainbow Nursery enough. The staff have been amazing for our son. We viewed a number of places before Rainbow and immediately felt that this was the best place for him. He has some extra needs and they have truly supported not just him but us as parents. Our son runs in each morning
and is so happy with his classmates and staff. We are so glad we were recommended to view when we did. Thank you for everything you do for our son to make him feel valued and supported.
