Child First Bicester is a private daycare nursery which has a vibrant environment in which children can learn through play and be involved in meaningful experiences.

The nursery cares for children from 3 months to 5 years and is open from 7:30 am - 6:30 pm Monday to Friday.

In a free-flow environment, children are able to choose from a wide range of resources, exploring and developing new skills with the support of dedicated staff.

Extra-curricular activities include singing, dancing, music, cookery, Spanish, football and drama, while children also grow vegetables and enjoy a variety of festivals, events and special days.

My little boys been at the nursery from the age of one and I’ve never had reason to fault the nursery or staff. He’s always been happy and his developments been hugely supported. The meals provided aren’t your ordinary meals, the children eat from a seasonal menu with fresh meat and veg, I’m confident
this is why I don’t have a fussy eater too! Love everything about Child First Bichester, the staff, the activities and the love they have for my son and others alike.

Wonderful nursery, staff are so friendly and helpful! Informed about everything. My daughter settled so well, considering she was born in the pandemic and has had very little interaction with others, she has thrived since starting at the nursery! Thrilled with her progress in the first few weeks of
starting. The meals sound delicious and my daughter loves them. Staff work so hard and make sure the children have a wonderful time there and they provide fantastic activities and experiences for them. Nursery provide parents with lots of information about activities and events and support for parents.

Our daughter has been at Child First Bicester since January 2019 and she loves it.
We've always had such pleasant experiences with every single member of staff and our daughter has developed strong bonds with those in the two rooms she's now been in (CFaterpillars and Butterflies).
The preschool
has handled everything to do with Covid exceptionally well, especially the communication around all things Covid. We regularly recommend the preschool and are very pleased with the choice we made for our daughter to attend here.
We're confident she's having the very best start to her early years learning ahead of starting school in September.

I decided on Child First Bicester based on feedback from colleagues. I was not disappointed, they are great. Communication is spot on and frequent. Replies to queries are super speedy. As a first-time parent I was nervous about sending my child to nursery especially in the middle of Covid. (Steps they
have in place makes it feel very safe).
The staff have been brilliant and so welcoming. My child has developed so much in the short time she has been there (6 months). She is always happy and excited to be going to nursery so much I think she's disappointed when it's the weekend.

We were so nervous and emotional about sending our baby boy to nursery (now 13 months) especially during the COVID restrictions. Three months later and we couldn’t be happier- we are so glad he’s there. they are amazing with him and he loves being there. It took him a bit of time to get used to it but
they have really made the effort to build a bond with him. Thank you so much. He has so much fun and grows more in confidence every day. A slightly older building but lovely and cosy, full of sparkly fairy lights and lots of fun.

My little one has attended Child First since she was four months old. I cannot recommend the nursery enough, she is so happy there, she is confident and happy, allowed to explore independently and has developed such a special bond with the staff. Her appetite for food is incredible and I put that down
to the amazing menus they serve. There is an online system where they capture special milestones which for me is invaluable as seeing them makes me feel like I'm with her and not missing special moments. A true testament to how much she loves it here has been her returning after lockdown measures lifted, she has returned happy and excited to be back in her special place. Thank you Child First for being a huge part of her special early years journey.

I could not be any happier with the childcare given by all the staff at the nursery to my two girls, both started there at ten months old and my eldest (now at primary) and my youngest (still attending preschool there) have been in excellent care throughout.
They made/have made genuine bonds with
the staff there and at no point did I ever feel they were not in the best hands to cover for me while I was at work.
The messy play was/is always a favourite, messy play there is much more fun as fewer restrictions of me walking around with wipes and a hoover.
Through a personal tragedy in our family earlier this year, on top of covid, I have found communication with the two managers nothing short of amazing, at no point did I feel like we were customers of a business but had genuine care and concern for us as a family and I cannot thank them enough for this. Highly recommend this nursery.

We have found the nursery employees to be caring, respectful, friendly, responsible, professional and fun throughout our time using the nursery. Our son really enjoys going and talks more about the nursery employees than his friends. They are supportive if we've had concerns and offered suggestions
for us to try at home that supports his development. We are looking forward to our next son joining and taking part in his journey.

My son has been with Child First from a baby, all the way through to the preschool room. I can honestly say that the care and attention given to him is outstanding. The staff are amazing and will bend over backwards to support and engage with the children. I love how the nursery involves families and
the community as much as possible; never have I heard of a nursery offer mothers/fathers/grandparents tea, allow members of the community to talk to the children about their jobs, play sports etc. I can’t thank them enough for their support.

Child First is a fantastic nursery. I cannot recommend them enough. The staff are lovely and so caring with the children. Food is all provided and home-cooked on site. Indoor and outdoor spaces are fab and they offer a huge range of different activities. There are regular events for the whole family,
including Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and grandparents tea.
My two daughters ages four and two have both attended since just before their first birthdays and are both very happy. They are very different personalities, but both have grown in confidence so much since starting at nursery.
More recently the nursery has handled the challenges around lockdown amazingly well. Throughout the closure period, there was open communication with parents and the reopening has been seamless. Both of my children have resettled back into nursery quickly and easily. They’re thrilled to be back with their friends and nursery family.

Our son has been with Child First for nearly a year and from the initial tour, we felt that it was the right place for him. It’s such a lovely atmosphere and an environment for little ones to explore and grow. We can’t recommend this nursery enough.

I could not recommend this nursery highly enough. My daughter just came back today to the nursery after three months of lockdown and the staff was extremely caring and reassuring to the parents. Well done to the fantastic staff at the nursery.

My Son has been attending Child First in Bicester since January. I was a bit nervous at first as he was only seven months old. During his first week, he was a bit upset which was understandable, seeing as this was out of his normal routine and first time without Mummy and Daddy.
The communication
from the staff and management was amazing and definitely made me feel more comfortable and confident that me and my partner had made the right choice. They also cater to his dietary requirements (Vegan).
My Son is now 13 months old and I can not thank Child First enough for their input in his development. It’s refreshing to see him so happy with a huge smile on his face every day when I pick him up, not to mention all the creative artwork he brings home on a daily basis. Child First has been nothing but professional and I’m confident that our Son is safe and secure.

All three of my children have been at Child First and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the fantastic outside space for them to enjoy, to the inventive ways they get them to learn and play. They have some great activities on, with my boys particularly loving the dancing. It shows how much my
kids love it, that my three year old ran back in when he returned three months after lockdown.

Both of our boys have gone to Child First. Our eldest started when he was 9 months and has remained there until he starts school in September. Our youngest started at 4 months and is not 18 months old.
Both boys have had food allergies and a number of intolerances. Child First have managed these with
exceptional care and very clear understanding of their needs.
We will never be able to thank the wonderful staff at Child First enough for the care they have given to our boys. The nursery has helped both boys grow and develop into incredible little boys, teaching them great social and life skills.
We would not hesitate to recommend this nursery and will be genuinely heartbroken once the boys are of an age to not be attending any more.

This is an incredible nursery and preschool! My son joined at 11 months and is leaving for Reception in a matter of weeks - I am so sad to be leaving behind such a fantastic place and amazing staff.
The nursery ethos is one of gentle parenting and nurturing, being totally led by the child. This approach
develops children incredibly well, helping them learn about themselves and others in a safe and secure, loving and caring environment. They treat each child as an individual, recognising strengths and development opportunities for each of them and working alongside you as the parent to ensure consistency of approach, and continuity of appropriate parenting decisions.
My son’s key worker at every point has been supportive and loving, providing all the cuddles I would want to give myself had I been there. The management are fantastic, and the fees more than appropriate for what is provided for all children.

Fantastic nursery, I’ve had a connection to Child First Bicester for the last 7 years, with my first daughter attending and now my youngest attending, both from starting in the baby room all the way to pre-school. The staff are wonderful, always caring and helpful. They do so many different activities

I am a Mother of two girls aged 8 and 3. My older one also attended the nursery. 4 years later we returned with our little one and it is still as fantastic as back then if not better. Amazing staff, loads of indoor and outdoor fun activities. Food cooked on the premises which was a big yes for us. They
also cater for my daughter's egg allergy which makes me feel assured that she will get the right thing to eat without me packing food separately for her. Highly recommend!

A wonderful nursery who have always taken amazing care of my 2 boys, age 3 and 1. The eldest has been there for 2 years and he loves everything about Child First. Even the 1-year-old is desperate to go inside in the morning! The staff are amazing with the children and couldn't be more caring. There
are endless new activities and things going on, and the space is fantastic, especially the outdoor space which they are in every day. The food menu is great- varied, healthy and sounds tasty! And they coped amazingly with my 3-year old who had multiple allergies and has since been very fussy and anxious with his food- they are patient and gentle with him and he came home yesterday having finished all his food- unheard of at home! We have regular updates and photos of what they get up to. Communication between the nursery and families couldn't be better, and I am especially grateful for how well they handled the recent coronavirus lockdown and ever-changing guidance.
